The hotel is located very close to the subway station, city center, restaurants etc. However the staff does not speak english well, neither its too helpful. Rooms are small and ok clean. Restaurant is not good. eat outside.
This hotel is an international chain but the level of service of the front office not up to the mark. Poor English - very hard to communicate with the staffs. More over the front office staff are not properly trained. There is a seven eleven and few restaurants, more over in the morning outside the hotel you can buy some local foods.
Location: Excellent nearby couple of subway stations, restaurants and shopping centres. Rooms are very small. Hotel needs to focus on cleaning of rooms seriously. Hotel have a small restaurant on ground floor and the bad part is that it opens only till 8:30 in the night. Hotel doesn't have any facilities for currency exchange. I think location is the only best part of this hotel.
Excellent service from the people at the front desk. Alisa Zhang, got me a seat assignment for my China Air flight to Shanghai and printed it out for me, too. It saved me time at the airport and she got me an aisle seat. Above and beyond service. They are going to begin refurbishing the rooms in the next month. The rooms could use a bit of paint. I would stay here again.
Ibis brand always give you standard budget hotel accommodations, but this6 hotel stay is very disappointing. I came here in May 2016 with friends travelling to Beijing. The service at the reception is average, nothing special. After checked into the rooms, i found that there are quite a number of mosquitoes in the room (probably the preview guest has opened the windows) The room cleanliness is definitely not up to standards. The hotel towel has some odd smell. Overall, its just a budget stay. If you are looking to have a few hours of sleep, just stay here. Comeback Ratings: 3/10
Decent location walking distance tongue subway and surrounded by many eating places and convenience stores. Hotel is old and in need of a refresh, but it is clean and everything works as it should. Staff was friendly and room size/amenities is up to IBIS standard. What surprised me was that there were hourly rooms available ?
I've stayed here 3 times. True, it will be due for a room refresh in the next few years, but we accept some fit and finish problems in the bathroom in exchange for the good price. Yes: the bathrooms do not have traps in the drain to block the sewer gas smell that can taint the air in the bathroom, though it is usually mild. I don't think this is a "3 star hotel" but if I gave it only 2 stars, Tripadvisor calls it "poor", which it is not. Positives: free wifi, free parking, good windows that can mostly seal out the street noise and curtains that will block the light, location: about a 6 or 7 minute walk to the Sanlitun shopping and restaurant district. 7-11 and a breakfast restaurant next door. Good restaurants nearby - about halfway to the Sanlitun shopping. Also, look up "Krow's Nest" pizza nearby to find it and a few other restaurants hidden in the neighborhood. Walk south to Chaoyang Rd North and head right (west), pass through the bus station and find the McDonald's for always reliable and affordable coffee in the morning. There is an electronics mall a bit more west along that road if you want to try your bargaining skills. Cross Chaoyang Rd and go down Dongdaqiao road to the Parkview Green shopping mall, the most impressive mall I have ever been in and, in a city of world-class architecture, one of the most stunning buildings. Then continue along Dongdaqiao and cross the street and you will find yourself at the World City Mall, yet another amazing concept and execution for a public shopping space. Must visit at night for the overhead light show. Great eating options there. Negatives: small rooms. After you've set your luggage down, hard to negotiate around the queen-sized bed.
Terrible staff English. Only the manager could speak a little bit. I found a woman hair on the bathroom floor sheet. Somebody put some pornographic cards under the door although it is against the hotel policies (sign in the room). Terrible control of luggage store after check out. No safe of not losing it.
Rooms are a little small, but affordable for the area. WiFi is good in some rooms and better in others. Sometimes the staff can be very friendly and other times they can be simply functional. The place is fairly clean, but not detailed on the cleanliness, not bad, clean but sometimes you can tell that a quick job was done. The rooms are usually pretty clean, it is just the common areas which could have just a bit more care. Overall the place is good. It is close to Sanlitun and subways.
Poor rooms. Far too small. Bad food in the cafe. Would not recommend to families it's full of prostitution. Place smells. Better hotels available for the money . Only good thing is its close to santilun.
