We enjoyed celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary at the tiny house. The private bucolic setting at the end of the ~.25-mile driveway was perfect—we had fun watching the deer, rabbits, and birds. The house is very livable, comfortable, clean, and well-appointed. I loved the counter space in the kitchen! And, the laundry shed was a convenient place to store our bikes.
The house is within easy driving distance of many attractions—we enjoyed visiting the Corning Glass Museum and the Rockwell American Art Museum in Corning, hiking in Watkins Glen State Park (amazing!), biking along the Catharine Valley Trail in Watkins Glen, and visiting the Glenn H Curtiss Museum in Hammondsport. We also discovered a great little coffee shop (Babes & Buds Coffee Lounge and Boutique) in Watkins Glen that makes the best chai tea lattes!
On our third day, a bad summer storm came through, with high winds knocking down trees and cutting off the electricity. The property management company reached out immediately to make sure we were okay and to see if we needed anything. The owner quickly removed debris from the driveway and set up a generator so our stay remained comfortable during the 2.5 days it took for the electricity to come back on. We can't praise the communication and quick response time throughout our stay enough.
The novelty of the tiny house, lovely location, and great service made for a wonderful vacation. We will definitely plan another visit!
