Property has regular motel rooms clean but in need of renovations and the Manor. I usually stay at the later which is quite upscale. Great location and easy parking. Nice pool and pleasant staff.
Check in was easy, room was clean. Had a nice outdoor sitting area with a view of the lake. Enjoyed coffee, donuts and danish in the morning.
Pool is heated at 83 degrees! Lovely!!!!
Close to town and super friendly staff
The breakfast was minimal. Not as described! Very disappointed. The hotel grounds were not maintained as far as the landscaping. Dumpy looking. The whole experience was not as photographed or written on the website. Not worth $205 a night. It was suppose to be a bed and breakfast type am meal and was not.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms, clean swimming pool, very pleasant stay.
The room was small but very nice and clean. The bed was really comfortable. Nicer towels and linens than most places in the same price range. Staff and owner were very accommodating. Just a short drive into town for shopping and dining. Would definitely stay here again.
After reading the reviews and staying at this hotel, I humbly submit a rebuttal to some of the reviews posted about this hotel. The hotel is wonderfully located near Lake Seneca. The Motor Inn model is fairly common and popular for this region of the country (almost every hotel we saw within 30 minutes was either a B&B or a motor inn/motel) and the staff was extremely helpful and courteous. The hotel was clearly built in the 50's/60's and has been updated a few times since then. The beds are wonderfully soft, the rooms were very clean, and my husband and I were very pleased with the quality of the hotel for the price. We came into the area for the Wineglass Marathon and wanted to explore the greater Corning/Finger Lakes area while we were here, and were pleased at the options this hotel presented. If we come back for the race, we will stay here again. Please don't let the negative reviews dissuade you, it's an older build, but a very reasonable option for the area. (Note: I don't work for the hotel, this was my only time staying here, but was shocked at some of the alarmingly negative reviews before staying here, we've stayed at a variety of hotels and this was certainly a reasonable hotel for the price and amenities provided).
Not a good one - facilities are not maintained. The shower was poor and the beds need to be upgraded. The thermostat had a problem which ws fixed. The breakfast was minimal with no cereal!

Anonymous review with no information. Does anyone really think is a valid review? People just don't care. Very sad.
Thank you.

The breakfast was exactly as described. Basic continental breakfast with coffee, orange juice, hot water and tea bags, fresh bagels, english muffins, and doughnuts. I think you looked at the Longhouse Manor B & B but you booked the Motel. The photographs of both establishments are exactly what you see on the website. We have installed new carpet in many of the rooms this month. So actually the motel pictures do not show the new carpet yet. Your reservation was for an event weekend and the rates were $30.00 higher than any other weekend. Most Motels double their rates for event weekends. I refuse to do business this way. Please remember that you made your reservation online so you are also paying 15% more. Expedia is an excellent job and they earn their commission. You are paying for the convenience of using any of these booking agencies. My advice is to call the establishment directly if you want a better rate. I am sorry you did not enjoy your stay with us,
Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms, clean swimming pool, very pleasant stay.
