Nicest place in Bay City

Happy with staff as well as amenities. The rooms were clean. Pool was nice.
The picture online for the room shows two beds and a sofa but the hotel staff stated they don’t have any two bed rooms with a sofa which is weird since the pictures depict that. The room was super small, the bathroom was upgraded but the toilet was very short. The shower head was cheap and the bathtub creaked with every step. The shower rod was secured to the wall incorrectly causing a clear crack and the shower curtain wouldn’t stay closed. The room was ridiculously hot and we had to sleep with just the sheet. I am so disappointed in this establishment and I don’t think they should be allowed to call themselves a Hampton Inn.
Considering shortage of hotels in this area at certain times, this hotel was a good value. However the room had one major flaw: the air conditioner intermittently shrieks and rattles. The only option for sleep was to turn it off. Fortunately the weather was mild enough that it was not required. In the summer this would not be acceptable. Other problems are beyond the control of the staff, as there were other guests who came in in the middle of the night slamming doors or talking loudly on cell phones.
This was exactly what I needed, clean hospital and relaxing after a hard day.
our stay was very well welcomed after a long day at a family reunion. we needed the comfort and relaxation afterwards.
