Location great, breakfast and Wifi very good! The most important point of the hotel without a doubt is the location whether for tourism or business. The overall maintenance aspect is very poor. It needs to undergo reform.
Hotel good and accomodating, feel very well attended by all employees, getting tips from the city, close to sights of the city, station docks and see the weight, comfortable room, great breakfast, in the apartments the view gives to A wall, bathroom a bit small.
For the independent traveller arriving for the first time in Belem the Tulip Inn- Batista Campos- has a significant number of positive points and, happily, no noteworthy shortcomings. My wife and I arrived in the very early hours of the morning, after a long and tedious flight; nevertheless the front desk was well staffed and awaiting our arrival, and we were quickly shown to our comfortable room. During our stay we found the hotel staff to be friendly, attentive and supportive; the buffet breakfast, hot and cold dishes, attractively presented, appetizing and substantial. International travellers, possibly on their first visit to Brasil, may be pleased to find that several of the hotel staff can communicate in English. Additionally, but importantly, it quickly became apparent to us that hotel guests feel, in general terms, that they, and their property, are in a safe and secure environment. Belem is a sprawling, bustling, raucous and vibrant capital city. Fortunately, for the traveller, this hotel is in an outstanding location; secluded from, but not remote to, the major tourist highlights. Almost adjacent to this hotel is a small, and tranquil, public square – the Praca Barbosa - which fronts the church of Santissima Trindade. Walking through this square the traveller will arrive, in about 10 minutes, at the renowned Theatro da Paz and the Praca de Republica. A further 15 minutes or so, fortunately downhill and travellers arrive at the waterfront, and the legendary Estacao das Docas. Conveniently, and only one block behind the hotel, is the recently opened Shopping Patio Belem; a large mall which contains a supermarket, a wide variety of shops, an extensive food hall and international banking ATM’s.
This Hotel is very well located. I stay there 5 days and itwas a nice time. The most remarquable thing to say here is regarding the staff. All the people there are smiling and ready to assist you in different way. The room was large, very clean. Nice bathroom too. Wifi was working VERY WELL. Bravo!
Tulip Inn Batista Campos in Belem is a very nice hotel, close to many attractions and with a very good service. I was there for a holiday weekend and enjoyed very much. Rooms are comfortable, spacious and clean. First class breakfast. Staff very kind and efficient. I had a flight late in the evening and was offered a late check-out. Very convenient.
2 nights during professional stay. Pros: - Very friendly and professional staff - clean rooms - located in center Minus: - bad noise insulation inrooms (sound from outside due to other guests) - little moisture in bathroom (see pictures) - taxi fees are huge to go to airport and nothing to do (no swimming pool) - good food quality but a bit overpriced Next time I will give a chance to the other Tulip Inn (at half way to the airport). Mitigated impression but general impression very positive due to very nice staff.
Good location near shopping center Pátio where you can find many restaurants. During daytime and on workdays even the market Ver-o-Peso at the harbour can be reached by foot. On sundays and when it is dark you better go by taxi (Less than R$ 15.-). The people are friendly even if they don't speak englisch. Only Amanda ( one oft the ladies at the reception) did speak fluent englisch. The room was clean and quiet. The breakfast buffet was excellent. We stayed 3 nichts in this business Hotel and can recommend it.
Room was comfortable and clean. The staff very friendly and available to help with doubts, questions, informations. Breakfast was diversified and everything looked and tasted good. The location is excellent, near main attractions in the city.
I was there for 2 nights for work and it couldn't have been better for our purposes: good location, good breakfast, comfortable room. All was great. If you arrive late, around the corner there's a shopping mall with a large food court where you can get anything you want to eat.
The hotel is very good. The wi fi connection is available in the whole structure. It is close to many touristic attractions and also to a shopping mall. The continental breakfast is nice. The staff is also gentle.
