This is simply one of the best hotels I have ever stayed. Strongly recommended!

Awesome place. The pool and bar are so inviting! Cheers!

Uy buen hotel muy bonito , y el pwesonal muy atento y agradable

Todo perfecto , la pasamos muy bien. El hotel es muy bonito. Muy buena atencion

Beautiful historic hotel Large room Toilet leg room cramped (seems common in Colombia)

Had a wonderful experience at the hotel. The service and stuff were amazing . The hotel is beautiful and the location is great . Will definitely be going back and highly recommend it !

Extremely comfortable bed. Not a bad location...Quiet, especially compared to previously hotel in town I stayed in. Only problem was no hot water. Front desk said had I told them they could fix it, but I was only there for one night with a 0400 wake up call so there wasn't time. Great history at the hotel and very comfortable setting...Will be first choice if I return to Barranquilla

it was great the staff was very helpful and friendly. the hotel is very old and that makes it interesting, but that doesn't mean have faulty leaks in the shower or sink, those should work perfect, old but working should be a good idea

The hotel is a piece of history. The staff is extremely proffesional. From the extremely attentive front desk staff to the members of the La Cabaña restaurant. I can not wait for the rooms to be refurbished and rehabilitated.

Beautiful hotel, staff are amazing. Pool is awesome and food was tasty as well. The original hotel has great architecture. I believe the hotel has been doing renovations since reopening.

Hotel was flooded. Walls were super thin. Guests were loud and rude

3 days of cold showers....rooms looked like a 1820 monastery....no towels after room was cleaned the next day. The safe was broken and my roommate hit her head twice when she opened the closet. A.C. very noisy...not worth the headache

Rooms were old an no lights on the hallways. Scary at night time. Breakfast just ok. Staff at front desk very rude. Food overpriced. They tried to inflate charges on non spanish speaking friemds

Nice hotel however it needs some renovation, bathrooms are really old and outdated. It looks like a ghost town.

Beautiful, historic hotel good for events but not for staying. The rooms are old, musty, and the bedding was stale and musty as well. The common areas are beautiful but the rooms need restoring and updating. Also the indoor common areas need better ventilation for guests. Great location, great pool area. Very kind and helpful staff. But there are better, comparably priced options out there for comfort and amenities.

Beautiful hotel. Not Modern but nice if you want a Latin experience.

The rooms are not clean and the furniture is very old

after the hype comparing El Prado to the Brown in Denver and Raffles in Singapore (both of which i've experienced) this sucked. They have done some cosmetic work - the palms around the pool are nice, but the view grows tiresome when waiting 30 min for the roughly 20 waiters to bring you a drink, as the only 2 customers. The lovely pool has very limited hours, it's closed 12 out of 24 hours a day. Our room was a LONG walk and the small, tired room was a disappointment. The large bath is nice. Overall, unless there is nowhere else (i.e, it's Carnaval) save your $$$.

The hotel is really beatifull, but outdated, need a really good touch up. People are nice. The gym open late, after 7:00, so if you have a early appointment, no gym.
