This hotel is fabulous. The hotel staff is very attentive to your needs and will bend over backwards to make you happy. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. It is centrally located as well with easy access to buses and ferries. I will definitely go back there again.

World Class. We stayed here as our last stop of our Italian tour and this place by far was the best. We checked in the day before my birthday, the gentleman who checked us in noticed and upgraded us to a junior suite, which was phenomenal. It had a view of the coast and was amazing all around. The staff everywhere we went was friendly, the hotel itself was an attraction. It gardens, terraced views, and was beautiful to leisurely walk around when we arrived. I would highly recommend. The only improvements I would hope for would be a larger gym and more substantial options at breakfast. The orders were small and not quite as hearty as I'm used to.
The hotel is perched above the city and has a great view of the sea. A five minute walk to the center of town and to a bus to transport you to all of the little towns along the Amalfi coast. A hotel van run each hour to the bus transport or pick you up at the edge of the town center. Wonderful views from the monks walk to the swimming pool. Lemon and orange trees terraced up the walk, overhanging vines and flowers. The ruins of the convent were just outside the door to our room. A wonderful place to stay and allow yourself to be transported to the ambience of the Italian Riviera. Just across from the door to our room was the ruins of the old cloister. Very lovely!
The NH Hotel staff was the best staff we've ever come across. They were very friendly, kind and helpful. The breakfast was amazing; fresh and delicious. The view from the breakfast balcony overlooks the water. The rooms were perfect, we couldn't ask for a better view. We would definitely recommend this hotel to our friends and family. Thank you!

We stayed in this hotel for five days and it was a lovely respite on some very hot days in July 2017. Every staff member we interacted with went beyond to make our stay memorable and comfortable.
Highly recommend this hotel - a wonderful location perched on a cliff overlooking the town of Amalfi and harbor. Clean, modern decor which retains elements of the historical convent. Our room was spacious and had a fantastic view. Breakfast served each day on the terrace was a treat. Pool is relaxing and very nice. Service was helpful and very friendly. Only complaints would be that air conditioning did not work well in the room, and Wifi was weak throughout the hotel.
We traveled with two of our kids and had a fantastic experience at this hotel. The place is incredible, and the view is just astonishing. The building is more than one thousand years old and unit serves as a monastery up to mid 19th century. We would really recommend this hotel to our friends.
