The Farmhouse at Angel’s Ridge provided the perfect accommodations for our trip. Melissa and team made sure we felt right at home. The farmhouse is spacious and comfortable and the game room - just trust me - you will use the game room!! The location is perfect for touring the local area as well as spots in Frankfort, Lexington and Louisville. It is a great home base for Bourbon Trail exploration. We will definitely be back!!

The entire stay was optimal, we enjoyed meeting up with our friends at this place, and it was close to many of the bardstown distilleries. The pool, although, was quite cold as it was October. We unfortunately did not get a chance to use the hot tub, although it looked also inviting. The laundry facilities are awesome, the bedrooms were amazing. There was just a small number of foot traffic stains on the carpeting going upstairs, but this is not unexpected for a place that is pretty heavily trafficked. The fire pit was amazing, and the game room was perfect for washing college football, playing poker, sharing some bourbon, and playing some pool. Would highly recommend to anyone coming to visit with family, or just friends hanging out! Great communication all throughout, but not too much communication.

We stayed at the Farmhouse from Thursday to Sunday. Shortly before our trip began we were offer late check out which was wonderful as we had the morning to spend a few more hours together. This is a beautiful home with comfortable beds, plenty of room for everyone to do their own thing, and lots to do on the property itself. The hot tub, swimming pool, and game room kept everyone busy. There is a room at the top of the stairs with a sofa, chairs, and a tv so that you can get away to read or watch television. The location is great, all of us really enjoyed ourselves and the host was fantastic. Any and all questions were answered quickly, the host really wants you to enjoy your stay. We will be returning again next year. This group has been getting together for 33 years, and has gone all over the US and everyone thought this was the best house yet! Thanks Melissa for hosting us!

Relaxation at it's Best

There is nothing about this property a visitor wouldn't like. The front porch, and other covered spaces offered long views of rolling hills, morning sunrises or evening sunsets as we relaxed and sipped our coffee or drinks. A friendly rooster somewhere in the area welcomed us each morning. The property is super clean, with a well stocked kitchen, an A/C that works well, and it's very roomy. Each person in our party had their personal space to watch Tv, nap or use the WIFI to keep in contact with friends back home.The game room, separate from the house, was a fantastic bonus. Young and old found a game they wanted to play. A swimming pool is available and was very helpful in managing the summer heat. My review may sound as though we spent all our time at the house but that's not true. We managed to tour several distilleries, tour Church Hill Downs, and eat at local restaurants, many of which had long, interesting histories. Our stay was too short to take in everything the area has to offer. You will not be disappointed in staying at this beautiful property.

Family Getaway

This property is absolutely stunning and very clean upon arrival! There was plenty to entertain our family. The decor inside was impeccable. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed (Walmart less than 10min away - very convenient for grocery shopping). We particularly enjoyed the swimming pool (it’s not Listed but the deepest end has to be at least 8’ which was great for the kids!) and the game room with a pool table and all the TVs you’d need. Plenty of seating space for indoor or outdoor family dining/socializing. The host was quick to respond to any inquiries and the property did not have a lengthy check out list like some rentals we have stayed in.Overall it was a great experience and highly recommend this property.
