simple hotel , clean , small rooms , too simple breakfast no veritable ..., unbelievably high price for MWC week ...3 nights for 624 Euro !!! , thats way too much for such a simple hotel at a far away location ..60 min ride to MWC in the mornings ,
The hotel is located in a quiet area, but close enough to the main street, with easy access everywhere. The room overlooked the mountain, the a/c working well, the room service cleaned it every single day. The staff is very nice, lots of brochures with every possible attraction at the reception.
The hotel is nearby metrostation 'Tres Torres' in a quiet area. Very easy to visit Barcelona ! Friendly people at the reception and nice breakfast. The rooms are a little basic, but oké. Had a nice stay !
Quiet hotel in a quiet quarter of Barcelona, just between two metrostations, on a hill, perfect to visit this town. Nice rooms, perfectly clean, nice people, good, generous breakfast. Free wifi, mostly good working. A big meetingroom
We were given guidelines on how to go around the city, the receptionists were all friendly and accommodating. Rooms were clean and bathrooms were big with bathtubs:) the only downside was the wifi since we were located on the 3rd floor the connection was not that strong. Still, a very good vacation :)
We (family of 5) stayed in this hotel back in May for 3 nights. It is very well located, subway a couple of blocks away and the taxi ride from and to Plaza Cataluna is about 10 euros, no so bad, the lobby and restaurant very nice, recently renovated. The rooms are very basic, clean but dated. We have a nice experience the 2 first nights. The third one which happened to be on a friday was a nightmare, so sad they decided to rent next door room to a very noisy couple for a couple of hours knowing there was a family sleeping next door, It was so dissapointed and so embarrasing. Not sure about hotel policies, but for sure this hotel allows any type of clients.
Nice hotel to stay. clam location. clean room. !st day my room's AC not working properly. after report to the front desk, they changed my room on next night. very close to the metro station. i love this hotel.
as stated in other reviews, basic clean hotel with friendly and helpful staff, was more than happy with the room, the cleaning was faultless, would have left a tip if I hadnt had my pocket picked in the city centre which left me tight for money, the air conditioning was great, ice cold just how I like it, breakfast was good and rarely ate again until evening as was always full, hotel in an outlying residential area but dont let that put you off, metro at the bottom of the street takes you intoLas Rambles in 15 mins, WiFi was strange as had read other reviews complaining about it, checked speed on first day and was about 50mb/s so superfast for a hotel but at other times it would drop out and couldnt connect for love for money....very strange, in general it was good though, lots of Spanish, Polish and Russian guests, would definitely stay at this or another Artiram hotel, some of the comments in other reviews I found to be petty
Last week, Barcelona was pretty busy and I had some difficulties to find an hotel at a still affordable price. Located very close to Tres Torres (subway station, the Atiram Hotel is a small hotel who tries to differentiate itself by taking care of many details: furniture (many colours), features like sofa´s outside (perfect to sit down if the weather is great), round tables where to work, ... The room was ok but nothing spectacular or different. clean but basic but in line for a 3* hotel. The staff in line with the concept was very well trained and helpful. Maybe one "but", the wifi is overall available and free of charge but not very powerful and connection was not always easy.
First and foremost this hotel needs to learn the basics of the hotel industry. When the 'do not disturb' sign is up you do not enter the room, regardless of weather you believe the room is unoccupied or not. Secondly, do not enter my room and open the windows without my permission and turn off my a/c from your main controls. If I want to sleep at 19deg I should be able to do so. In short, if you want a comfortable night sleep and the ability to decide your room temp, this is not the hotel for you. Thirdly, their was an earwig in the room, the cups in the bathroom had a layer of dust on them and the bathroom was rusty (take your Tetnis injection). I don't recommend this hotel for non-Spanish speaking travels as the staff (whilst very friendly and helpful) have limited English and the Rv only picks up Spanish television. Lastly, the hotel is 10 mins from the station, around 20 mins to Shangria Familia or the museum. I may have considered returning to this hotel if it were not for the entering my room to open my windows and turn off my a/c. This is unacceptable are reeks of cons cutting.
