You can hear noise from next room. Walls are not sound proof. Location wasn't the greatest to down town. The rooms are not clean all the time. Very dusty. The hotel breakfast was not good, no variety.
I had booked Hotel Auditori after leaving a nightmare experience called Barcelona Rooms (Do Not Stay There). Hotel Auditori was a godsend and I should have booked my lodging here in the first place. I was impressed with the clean modern design of the place especially the bathroom which had separate doors for the sink, toilet and shower. The room was spacious, clean, had all the amenities that I needed (A/C, Safe, Bath Products, Towels, Coffe+Tea,TV,Mini Fridge) . My room was facing the street but the hotel is situated in an area that does not have noise pollution. The front desk was open 24hours and the staff made check in check out easy. The staff were very helpful when I needed taxis, to print out my tickets and to answer any questions i had about the area or anything else. The hotel is close (10+minutes walk) to La Sagrada Familia, Arc de Triumph. The hotel is located in front of a park and a museum. There are cafes near by and a few minutes walk to a food market. You are able to easily take public transport to the other landmarks and attractions because Glories and Nord Station were a about a 8-15 minute walk away. I wish the hotel was more central to the other tourist attractions so it would have cut down on my travel transport time but other than that it was a great place to stay.
Nice hotel although half an hour walk to the beach. it looked closer on the map, lol. Breakfast was cheaper in the nearest cafe and the coffee was better.Close to the Sagrada Familia, about a 20 minute walk, its worth going to see it.
I like a hotel where the staff speak English. I like a modern bathroom. I like comfortable beds. I like a wide selection of breakfast choices. The staff are friendly and professional. This is a very quiet hotel with great cafes within walking distance. I highly recommend this hotel in Barcelona.
We stayed at this hotel on a long weekend trip to Barcelona and found it very comfortable. It is located a bit out of the town centre but relatively close to Sagrada Famila (10-15mins walk). The town centre can be reached via one of two metro stops about 5mins walk from the hotel on different lines. There is also a tram at one metro stop which links with the beach. Keep in mind that Barcelona is quite a large city and it takes time or rather long walks to get places. Given that, we didn't have any complaints about the location. The hotel is comfortable and very clean with friendly and obliging English speaking staff. Our room was an odd shape with no proper storage for our suitcases but the bed was comfortable, there was a small wardrobe with safe, tv and tea and coffee facilities. The bathroom was spacious. Some basic toiletries provided plus hair dryer. Wifi available throughout the hotel. We found it was a bit weaker in some parts of our room but otherwise satisfactory. Breakfast buffet was generous with lots of options and available til 11am. Eating options are available on the street of the hotel in some nice tapas bars if you don't want to go far afield. I also discovered a very efficient laundromat down the road which was a great help. The hotel does offer laundry service as well. A good, reasonably priced option. Would recommend.
Great hotel with a great location and friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are a bit small but have big windows and a great view. The breakfast was very good and offers a lot of choices. It is easy to get to the hotel from the airport by metro.
Located on a quiet street near the Sagrada Familia and a short walk to a metro stop, the location is ideal. The hotel is clean and modern. The rooms lack surface area to put suitcases, but otherwise are very adequate. The daily breakfast is ample. The staff is warm and helpful.
English speaking staff made us very welcome. 24 hour desk gave plenty of time to see the sights of this busy and cosmopolitan city, all within walking distance or by Metro which is close by. The breakfast was plentiful with hot and cold choices - packed meal can be organised for early leavers. Check out was quick and as booked. Lifts to every floor were quiet, as was the hotel overall.
We stayed in Teatre Auditori before we went on a tour of the Western Mediterranean. What a friendly reception. The staff was extremely helpful. We arrived from Cape Town, South Africa (via Frankfurt) early in the day. We asked if we could possibly book in earlier and within 20 min we were in our room!! Clean and comfy .... that is all that is needed. Nice breakfast in the morning. Centrally located hotel. Will definately go back should it happen that I visit Barcelone again.
We stayed at Teatre Auditori for 3 nights. Hotel is decent, with comfortable beds and cleaning was done everyday. We received a room at the main floor, no view, not much light (facing some other room's window) which gave us little privacy if the curtains would have not been closed (which means no natural light). It is well located, staff was very helpful. Breakfast was decent, but not rich in variety. For a short stay it was decent.
