Upon arrival asked for a map for the hop-on-hop-off bus, initially the front desk lady was eager to help once she found out I had already purchased the ticket, she requested me to return the map since she couldn't give it to me, the tone used wasn't very courteous. Seriously? a hotel can't spare a single map? definetly lacking in customer service. In addition, next day came late at night to find my room hasn't been made. Spoke with the same front desk lady, that promised to do something and let me know and never did. Very disappointed.
Perfect for our break at a reasonable price, nothing fantastic but rooms were clean and had all we needed. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good, although the place did lack a bar to relax in following a hard days sightseeing. It is reasonably close to a metro station, which you need to use, as it’s a long walk to most of the sights. I would recommend the hotel although it is very basic
The room is comfy and clean. Staff kind and ready to help. Breakfast is varied and tasty. The position is good; in fact we walked until the seaside (about 10 minutes) and also to La Rambla (about 30 minutes). If you don't like to walk, you can always take the tube nearby. Quality/price surely worth it.
The breakfast had have a little selection. Powdered Eggs instead of fresh eggs. Alread at the first day I grabed three pieces of mouldy bread. Rooms: Average and very small. Absolutly no space to store our belongings expect the closet. Cleaner did not work very good. Location: Very good. Just around a 10 min. walk to Sagrada Familia. 15min. to Parc de la Ciutadella. Bus, Metro and Tram Station nearby.
Stood there for 7 nights. Room was cleaned daily, breakfast is very generous, receptionists are very friendly and nice with tourists. The bus stations are very close, one even in front of the hotel. The room has mini fridge but no mini bar. The restaurant is open only for breakfast and there is no bar. The rooms are nice, the only downside i saw was with the beds, we had the double/twin room. The twin beds moved around if you just sat on them, very unstable and yet somehow comfortable. Also another downside was the water draining noise. We were at the 2nd floor and we could permanently hear the above rooms showering and the water draining. Overall good experience!
The hotel is 5 mins by metro from Sagrada Familia or 15 mins walk. Also 10-15 mins by metro from Rambla and 3 mins walk from the metro station. It is a very good 3 star hotel, really nice area, close to Torre Agbar and Glories shopping center. Very clean, comfortable beds, good size room (twin room had a double small bed and a single bed), walk-in shower. Our room (607) has a nice view over the Theatre and Torre Agbar. Breakfast was really good, lots of choices (eggs, bacon, beans, fruits, yogurts, pastries. I particularly liked the breakfast room, which was really nice and cozy, nice decor. Omar at the reception was extremely helpful, gave us lots of information and booked Flamenco show for us. I really liked the hotel and I would recommend it to anyone.
This hotel is well located to Sagrada Familia and other tourist attractions. It is a nice, small hotel in a pretty area, safe to walk around. Breakfast is served. Whilst our room did not have a view outside, (overlooked the stairwell) it was large, clean and comfortable. Ariadna and Karina were most friendly and helpful in giving us some tourist advice. We appreciate that. From the hotel, we could walk to numerous attractions and caught the red bus which has two routes. When we booked it we were told by our local agent that it was a 4 star hotel, but in fact, is a 3 star. But comfortable, clean and a short ride from the port from which we were sailing. There is a safe and an ironing board in the room which also had a table and chairs. We had a groundfloor room near to reception, which provides easy access for prams and wheelchairs I would think. It had a huge shower in the bathroom. Airconditioning worked well and tea/coffee with kettle is in the room. There is a vending machine for water, coldrinks etc. It was quiet even through the reception is on the street. It seems the hotel caters a lot for people going to the theatre across the road. It is functional.
Quiet hotel, near the Sagrada Familia. Very clean and with a breakfast above average for a 3-star hotel. You can walk to the city centre but you also have public transports near by. Fair relation price/quality.
I travel many times to Bcn for work, this was one the few hotels with room available this time. Room 105, there was a spider on the bed, ok could happen. View is inexisten cause just above the entrance and behind the ac hotel big machine noisy. Every time someone use water looks like is raining in the room. Breakfast below average so that second day I just skipped. Ask to change the room but all busy. Cannot reccomend. 110 eur per night way too expensive
Stayed here with hubby and friends for four nights. A very nice small hotell in a quiet neighbourhood. Not luxurious, but very clean and friendly service. Breakfast was alright. Would go again in case I wanted a nice quiet place were I can sleep well. Not far from a metrostation, but also a nice walk away from the old town and La rambla. Also La sagrada famiglia a walk away.
