it s was very well, the room was very clean, the food was very good, towel was change every day. I was surprise I was pleasantly surpised by a exiistence of safe, fridge and a mug for preparing cafe sand tea. Congratulations
We stayed from the Friday until the Wednesday in the room that I asked Ruth for, thanks Ruth. The staff in general are really great. Unfortunately I don't remember all their names, I should by now as this is my third time there. Maria and the other lady whose name I have forgotten at the breakfast are really super jovial people. It is a real pleasure to be attended indirectly by such people. Thanks to both of you, you have always been excellent. The food at the breakfast is excellent, not a massive choice but more than enough for such a smallish hotel. Fresh fruit from melon, strawberries, mango, apples, bananas, grapes etc. Concentrated juices not bad but I prefer water in those cases. Coffee not bad for a automatic machine. Choice of cakes, biscuits, jams. Bacon, sausage, beans, egg. Breads of different kinds, croissants (not the best), omelette excellent for one that is not home made, tastes almost like home made. Really nothing bad at all. I have never not enjoyed the breakfast there. Staff at reception really friendly and helpful. An extremely useful service is the possibility to shower later in the day. You have to obviously vacate your room by 12.00. I wet off, came back at 16.30. They provide you with towels etc and the show room has a toilet and is big enough. You can leave your luggage in a lock up and it is well protected.
This hotel straight forward, simple, and perfect if your goal is to explore Barcelona. We stayed for five days, and although we didn’t spend most of the day at home, it was always wonderful to come back to. It’s in a great part of town: a bit more relaxed, a short walk to Sagrada Familia, and only a few blocks from multiple metro stops, which will get you anywhere you need to go (7 minute subway ride to the gothic quarter and great hangouts). Unless I wanted an expensive luxury hotel, I wouldn’t have any reason to stay anywhere else.
My room was 105, and I'm quite sure all rooms at 1st floor are the same. basement style rooms, if I open the window I can see the reception and the parking entry, the air-conditioning that works as a heater is old and noisy, difficult to sleep with so many noises. Looks older than in pictures, maybe if you get a different section of the hotel ...No worth the price
This hotel has no particular charm, but it is practical and does the job. Pros - Close to Sagrada Familia - Non-touristy area - Good shower - Comfortable bed - Friendly staff Cons - No charm - A bit far from most tourist areas - Basic breakfast
Visited with my boyfriend for a city break for four days and loved the fact that the room we had booked was almost like a small apartment. It was very novel to have two arm chairs to sit at separate from the bed which meant we could eat our lidl breakfast in comfort as well as having a small fridge to be able to use. I think the only negative would be the location. Although it was easy enough to walk to the tube to then get into the city it was a bit of a quiet area with not many nearby shops and restaurants that you'd want to eat at. We ended up grabbing some supplies from Lidl a 10 minute walk away and then knowing that if we wanted something more substantial we'd have to travel into town. If I visited Barcelona again I'd be tempted to pay a little more money and stay somewhere more centrally located just in terms of ease.
Well i want to thank you Ariadna from reception for your help and your attention.Because of your information about the city my holiday was perfect. You are the best.Soon i will come again.I like the services from here.
I did the booking through the hotel webpage. When I arrive to the hotel I ask if they were able to gave me a high floor, the answer is 'for the amount of money that you paid' ... Reception: I found the answer impolite and discourteous, it would be enough to tell me that they were full or similar and not telling me that I paid too few to get a better room, so the next time should I use not the official page? Location: Is good, you can find a new big shopping center, Glories, some blocks from the hotel. Room: Despite I didn't get a high floor but the under street level room (kinda bizarre) the room was well decorated, and had a good size. The downside is there was few natural light, that's why i always prefer high floors. Will I come back? Is an option in Barcelone if you get the good price, but I expect the receptionist to have a professional actitude specially if i get an offer!
The hotel is very well positioned, within walking distance of Sagrada Familia. The room was nice and the bathroom equipped with toiletries. Breakfast was poor with only a few dishes to choose from and not really timely refilled. Staff were friendly and helpful. All in all, it wasn’t bad, it was rather average.
The room was good , a bit small but like most in spain. The staff was extremly friendly , we changed rooms upon arrival to room 406 facing Auditori. All the staff , especially omer, were so helpful with the tour guiding and any special requests. The breakfast was lovely but could add more hot options. The room had tea and coffee making facility and perfectly heated. Thank you Hotel Teatre Auditori for a lovely stay in barcelona
