Loved my stay at this property! I had a balcony view of the Tuscany hills and the little town of San Donato was just gorgeous. The owner and staff were very friendly and morning breakfast, included in the stay, was fantastic. Would highly recommend.

This was a BEAUTIFUL place, built around 1500 AD. Unbelievable view! and the staff was helpful and friendly!! We are already planning to stay here again!! I can't say enough about the tiny village this is located in also!!!

Have no words to describe this property! Is absolutely amazing, location is great, the Borgo ( San Donato) is spectacular. The breakfast was delicious and handmade by Mary. Hostess Maria and Mary always was aware of our necessities in the hotel. Highly recommended for those who are looking for peace and rest in beautiful Tuscany!

The place is amazing, the view and the host very helpful. My flight got delayed and I was able to check-in late. The breakfast was delicious, the staff was extremely cordial. The room very cozy and the view breathtaking. Cant wait to be back!

Perfect Stay

We loved our stay here! Everything was absolutely perfect! The house was gorgeous. The breakfast was wondering and made to order everyday. Along with yogurt, fruit and home baked cakes. The beds were very comfortable. The view was to die for. It was extremely clean. Maria was so kind and welcoming. Everyone else also went above and beyond to help in anyway we needed. Also the town was very cute with a few really good places to eat. We would love to come back again someday. ❤️❤️

My husband and I both really enjoyed our stay at this property. Maria and Mary really make us feel at home. We were greeted with a piece of home-made cake and cappuccino. We really loved the whirlpool bathtub in our bathroom which was very helpful after the long walks with touring the hill towns. Right next door is an excellent, Michelin-rated restaurant called La Toppa which served excellent food and had very friendly staff. Maria even went out of her way to make an inquiry phone call to assist me in finding a church where my grandparents were married in the early 1900s, as I cannot speak Italian. This property is nicely centered in the Chianti region, making it short commutes to several of the hill towns and wineries.
