Charming In-Town Bar Harbor Home

(Please note, during the summer weeks, this is mostly a Saturday or Sunday check-in with a 7 night minimum stay). (This property is registered with the Town of Bar Harbor, License #VR2R25-325.)

This lovely in-town cottage is located on a corner lot in a beautiful downtown neighborhood. Just a couple of blocks from the YMCA and an athletic field that includes basketball and tennis courts as well as baseball and soccer fields. An easy five minute walk to downtown to enjoy the many shops, restaurants, the shore path and the Island Explorer, which provides free rides around the island. If you want to explore on your own, Acadia National Park is just a short five minute drive away. If golf is your thing, Kebo Valley Golf Club is just around the corner.

The home has been updated, nicely decorated and has three upstairs bedrooms with a full bath. There is a king bed in the master bedroom, a second bedroom with two twin beds, and bunk beds for the kids in the third bedroom. All three bedrooms have AC units. The first floor contains a lovely living room with sectional sofa, an updated kitchen with a large eat-in island, an additional side table for two, and a full bathroom and a laundry area with washer and dryer. There is also an AC downstairs as well. The outside back deck has a nice dining table and gas grill, as well as a fenced in yard. There is a covered front porch and a private driveway for parking.

The home also has high speed Wi-Fi, Smart TV's with Roku devices, both upstairs and down.
The vacation home is air-conditioned and features a kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and a patio, and there's space to spread out with 3 bedrooms. Guests can enjoy a Smart TV and stay connected with free WiFi. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a fireplace, and a fenced private yard.

We were once again wowed by our stay at Falcon's Nest. Bobby and Sandi are Super Host for a reason. This home has it all from the comfy furniture and beds to the most well-stocked kitchen we've ever come across. This rental doesn't feel a house, it feels like a home. The proximity to town is great for those who enjoying walking to restaurants and/or shopping. Once again, I'll be counting the days until our next stay!

The house was in the most perfect location. We walked everywhere and the drive into Acadia was extremely close as well. Especially if you’d like to see Jordan Pond and Cadillac Mountain. The hosts were attentive and responded quickly. The house was also stocked perfectly, we loved the amount of towels and blankets. The house was very clean and fit our group of 5 very well. Would definitely stay here again!

This house is a true charm. My family and pups had a fantastic time hiking, walking in town,and eating lobster. It was great to know we had this house to come back to at the end of the day. The host, Bobby, provides EVERYTHING you need for an excellent stay. Communication with him is prompt and complete. We will definately book again if we visit again. My husband and son enjoyed the front porch with morning coffee and my daughter and dogs enjoyed the deck out back in the sunshine. We arrived a few minutes early for check in and met Bobby when he was finishing a few last touches of the property for us. Stay here. You won't be disappointed -- you won't want to leave!

We had a fantastic week at this home in Bar Harbor! The hosts were excellent from initial questions/pre-booking to reminding us they were available for any questions during the visit. Our dog loved having access to the fully fenced-in yard. The location was ideal: far enough from town to be quiet but within a half-mile to most restaurants as well as the shore path, and easy access to Acadia National Park. The house was very clean, downstairs was roomy with a fully functioning kitchen and friendly layout being open/adjacent to the LR, couch was comfortable and a good-sized TV for downtime. For anyone with kids, there are open fields and a playground right down the street. When we return to Bar Harbor, we wouldn't hesitate to re-book this home.

The home was perfect in every way for our family of 4 plus small pup, Close to Acadia and walking distance to town. The fenced in yard was wonderful for the pup and kids, as was the proximity to the YMCA, playground and fields. The home was extremely clean and well stocked with kitchen supplies, linens and towels. The host (Bobby) was extremely responsive and gifted us and the pup and arrival treat. Highly recommend this home for a convenient, clean and quiet visit to Acadia and Bar Harbor.

Absolutely terrific place that was perfect for the 4 of us (two couples). The place was exactly as advertised, and was in an ideal location, walking distance to downtown Bar Harbor in the evenings and a short 5-minute drive to Acadia National Park for the day. House was also well equipped for meals when we ate in. Bobby the host was incredibly attentive. When we had an issue, he not only responded promptly, he was at the house a few minutes later to make sure we could figure it out. Would definitely stay here again when we come back to Bar Harbor.

Beautiful home in a perfect location!

This home is exactly as described and was in pristine condition upon our arrival. Lovely home and awesome location

The home was perfect and Bobby and Sandi were awesome! Replied in minutes to any questions we had - super responsive and sweet. House is very nice and the hosts included everything we needed. We love walking so loved how we could walk into town and also walk over to the trails and do some beautiful hikes. We also brought bikes and did some nice rides. If you are looking for a lovely home, close to Acadia and town, with very responsive hosts, we would totally recommend this house.

Great house near the center of Bar Harbor

We had a terrific day at the house. The owner is very nice and easy to work with. The house is exactly as advertised. The location is excellent in just a few blocks from the center of Bar Harbor. We also worked out at the YMCA, which is only one block away. And managed to work in a pickle ball game at the YMCA as well. Terrific day. Highly recommend.

Sets a high bar

Bobby and Sandi’s place was an amazing find. Great location, abundant amenities, and wonderful hosts. The property is well laid out so that we didn’t feel we were on top of one another. Two full bathrooms made the days easier to get a group going out the door and settled in at the end of the day. The fireplace made for a cozy gathering space at night and the comfortable beds and quiet neighborhood made for great sleeping. As we were there in off season, getting to and around Acadia by car was easy and the Park is amazing. Great restaurants and shopping are just blocks away from the house so, in high season this could be an ideal location to avoid traffic in Bar Harbor and use the frequent bus routes to access Acadia. We are already dreaming of a return trip to Bobby and Sandi’s place.

A BIG slice of Heaven on Earth!

Bobby and Sandi brought our favorite vacation spot to a whole new level. The house is immaculate and had everything we needed (and then some). We like to cook and wanted for nothing in the galley. The furniture in the living room is very comfortable and the fireplace was a welcome treat. The bed in the master bedroom was fantastic and made for a good night's sleep. We loved being able to walk to town and the fact that there are sidewalks on the surrounding streets (a real treat for our pup). The town fields are in the backyard, and we met fellow dog owners and played some frisbee. I can hardly wait to return in the Spring so we can enjoy the front porch and backyard.

Thanksgiving Get-away

My daughter, dog and I visited Bar Harbor for the first time over the Thanksgiving holiday. We arrived finding a fresh pumpkin pie and lovely note of welcome on the kitchen counter. From this initial greeting, our stay was nothing short of magical. Bobby and Sandy's house is perfectly situated--close to downtown and all the Main street shops and restuarants and it backs up to a park which is perfect for those traveling with their fur baby. An added amenity is the fenced in back yard. The house was clean, the beds were comfy and the tv was easy to work, the neighborhood friendly and safe. I would not hesitate to recommend this property if someone desires an authentic Bar Harbor experience!
