This place was amazing. We had a wonderful stay. The premises were pretty clean, other than a few cobwebs in the corners. The only issue we had was one of the chairs broke on its own when sat in. Other than that it was perfect.

Spacious Cabin near Sugar Mountain
The cabin was great for our two families with a total of 11 people. Pros:- good size, spread over 3 floors. - well-appointed kitchen with plenty of cooking supplies and dinnerware for people to eat.- very close to the base of sugar mountain. In the winter, you still need to drive to the mountain but it'd be an easy walk in the summer. - lovely outdoor porches that are probably great in the summer.Cons:- the hill to get up to parking at the cabin is steep--totally understandable in the mountains! Our front wheel drive minivan couldn't make it up the lightly snow-covered driveway. There is space at the bottom of the driveway for two cars to park if you can't make it all the way up. - some of the bathrooms don't have locks. Our kids were paranoid about another kid coming, but it could be a feature if you have toddler kids prone to locking themselves into bathrooms.Overall, a great place to stay! We'd love to come again.(Final note: hurricane Helene damage is still evident. For instance, mailboxes aren't present, so finding the address can be slightly more challenging. This didn't impact our stay negatively; just noting for future guests.)

Cozy, but Inconvenient
Property was clean and cozy, but not exactly as described. Basement had bunk beds, one couch and a hospital bed that nobody would sleep on. Driveway was totally frozen. Only access was about 30+, straight-up steps!

Location
Great view. But it will be hard to park cars on drive way if snows.
