The house was a great place to stay and very comfortable and convenient to hawks nest tubing and to Sugar Mountain. The only issue we had was that the floors in the house are quite squeaky and anytime someone got up at night, the whole house knew about it. Still recommend highly and would stay again for sure.

Best Family Trip to Mountains

We had a wonderful stay at The Nest. The house was conveniently located to all of the fun things to do in the area. The house was beautiful and stocked perfectly for all of our needs. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you for the memories.

Wonderful snowy week!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin. Everything was very well equipped, and the communication with the host was excellent. We had beautiful, snowy weather, and the location to the ski slopes was ideal. We will definitely return.

Perfect retreat

Had a wonderful time on our mini getaway vacation in the mountains. This home has everything you could ask for from plenty kitchen appliances and cookware to activities for adults and kids alike. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with my family!

Wonderful property

Feels very homey! Love the story! The only thing I would say is the porch and porch furniture could be power washed so it felt a bit more welcoming but otherwise it’s a wonderful home! Thank you!

Christmas Memories!

This year we decided to do a drive trip with the family for Christmas. This house was fully stocked with more than you need to include games, books, extra blankets and pillows. The cabin is extremely spacious for everyone to have their own space when needed. Highly recommend.

What a great time. We cooked a lot and just as a recommendation, the cabin could use new pots and pans along with baking dishes. The floors creek obsessively. Every step.

Peaceful weekend getaway

Business/pleasure weekend trip. Cabin was well equipped with all the essentials to accommodate cooking/grilling out, relaxing by the fireplace, reading a good book, enjoying the views, having a relaxing whirlpool bath and more. Conveniently located to shopping and hiking trails. We enjoyed the personal touches the owners added to make our stay more enjoyable. Firewood provided was much appreciated. We did not bring our daughter on this trip, but it had nice touches for people with children—foosball table, ping pong table, arts and crafts supplies, books, etc. We would definitely return to this cabin.

The house was very comfortable and in good condition. Services were not good. Trash removal was very bad since it was not removed as stated in the literature. Also, A request for a vacuum took three days.

This place has it all

This was our first time vrbo-ing so we were unsure as to what might be provided. Staying in the winter with a large group there were many meals and treats planned but the Nest had us covered, even a high chair/booster seat! You really don’t need to bring a thing except maybe some paper towels and tp in addition to your food, clothing, and toiletries. There were tons of children’s books throughout the house as well as board games and puzzles. The game room was a huge hit with our family, as well as blankets in every room for cozy family time. There were lots of nice touches and the location was perfect for everything the area as to offer. We started planning next year before we left!

One of our best vacations ever!

We had a wonderful time at The Nest! We stayed during MLK weekend and were lucky enough to see snow fall! The house has everything you would want, plus more! The house was very clean, views were beautiful, close to Sugar Mtn, perfect hills on the property for sledding, large home but also has the cozy feel!
