Money was stolen out of my backpack. Was in vietnam so had 1.6 million vnd and it disappeared, only about $70 usd no big deal but absolutely disgusting, strange they 25k vnd in small bills and $200 usd i had in another compartment, maybe they didnt ransack the entire bag so I wouldn't notice, smart. Another room in the tour group was robbed if 2 gold bracelets left in luggage. Beware, bring all money and valuables with you, wouldnt trust the included safe either.
Need to pay for everything! We chose this hotel because of the location and the jym, and then we realized that we need to pay extra to use it! (240 BHT-NOT WORTH IT AT ALL!!!!). We are in 2017 every place have free WIFI for his customers, so not in this hotel. you get only one hour per day in the room and one hour in the lobby... Very frustrating! The answer of the manager was this is not include in your package... who know there is a package?? I order a room not a tourism package and WIFI is basic thing in our days. Really not a good hotel, they are better hotels in this location that are more advanced.
I can recommend this hotel....had a wonderful stay....comfy rooms, food was good :) Location of hotel is barely 2 kms from Madame Tussauds, MBK mall etc. Only negative thing was that the gym was not free....had to pay 200 baht every time i wanted to workout.
I came here to attend a seminar. The hotel has been around for many years, so it looks old but clean and well maintained. The decorations of the building looked old fashion too. It is located in an old part of town and next to the highway. The location is rather inconvenient, as the nearest metro train stations is about a 20 minutes walk away.
Booked a deluxe room and it was confirmed, but on arrival was informed that there is no more deluxe room and instead they will upgrade me to a Junior suite Room: No complaints. Big, spacious and clean. It came with a sit out an dit was great on a full moon night. Really breezy and nice. The fridge could have been stocked better with snacks. Wifi: this was a rip off!!! Wifi is chargeable. They give u only 1-hr free use. For people on business, pls don't come here. Even for pax like me on a leisure trip, if there's no wifi and it's chargeable what's the point. Thankfully it was only a night in that hotel. Breakfast: I stayed in this hotel in 2001. It was known as "Sol Twin Towers" then. The breakfast then was a great spread. Now.... it's a renovated restaurant but lousy spread. They do not replenish and take take a long time to do so. On a scale of 1 to 10, I will give it a 2.5. You can eat fruits and bread.🙄🙄🙄🙄
since I came to check-in at the counter, the receptionist provided me a welcome drink. it is a good experience that i came to stay here. It is impressive that after taking excursion in town, I laid on the bathtub with warm water. It's so relaxing.
Visit The twin towers 2013 and it was not that good. Pool was always in shade so it was realy coold and everything at the hotel was expensive. Wifi was good but expensive and outside The hotel there was homeless people living in a dump. The hotel was clean but staff was rude
The Good: Front desk- lovely check in and concierge staff were lovely they let us print off our boarding passes for free which was welcomed! Breakfast- really nice big variety chefs were on the ball nothing was ever empty despite the big numbers they were catering for. The Bad: Pool area nice but it would not kill the guy managing it to smile or be a little bit friendly I felt like an inconvenience being there ! Wifi- Stayed all over Thailand and it was the first hotel I stayed in where they did not offer free WIFI crazy stuff in this day and age !! Get with the times :) Lounge Dinner- Evening food in the Lounge not good at all, I didn't eat my main course when it came and the girl didn't even ask if there was something wrong So maybe no interest but you should at least ask for feedback if a guest does not eat what is given to them- it was cold and bland. Overall Nice Hotel but Would I return probably not
Average service overall, nothing special. But the most annoying part is when you have to stay in this hotel for a business trip. The Wi-Fi system was such a rip off! It didn't come with the accommodation apparently and had to be paid separately. Worse, the connection was on and off, most of the time. So unreliable and very disappointing! Oh, did I mention that they didn't provide free tea bags in the room? Yep, that's right. Might be okay for locals but strongly not recommended to host international meetings.
Location is bad taxi overcharged poor room very old hotel no wifi staff is rude a lot of thing is not in order when come to check in outside of the hotel have nothing still can say they are 4 star hotel in my own opinion I think it's a 2 star hotel
