I stayed here for one night and the hotel is pretty cozy!! Pool side restaurant is really good, so as the food!! Close to most of the attractions in Bangkok (Grand Palace, Wat Phra Kaew etc) Appreciate if the hotel can provide Wi-fi
This hotel is a very nice quality place. It is a bit older but still very nice. It has numerous high quality restaurants and a very upscale bar as well as a karaoke club. It is a very nice complex but is located in a somewhat run-down section of town. The staff is very professional, attentive, helpful and friendly. Whatever question you have will get the attention of three or four staff members, they aim to please. The only negatives were the fitness room and Business center (internet) were additional charges
I was put in the executive wing, in a large suite for $50. An exceptional value for what I got. The staff, especially the bellhops and concierge were very friendly and helpful. The main problem with the hotel is that the food is geared to meat eaters only. The morning and evening buffets were filled with meat dishes, so someone who doesn't eat beef, pork or chicken has very little choice. They don't have a morning coffee cafe, which is odd for such a large hotel. The pastry offerings were all meat and the latte wasn't really a latte. Except for the dining problems, which forced me to leave the hotel in search of food, all was pleasant. On another note - The hotel is in Bangkok - note Bangkok and not Salt Lake City. My friend, who I booked a second room for, and I thought it a ripe-off that the hotel charges $22 to bring a girl to our room. We rent the room - what difference does it make who sleeps in the bed? Maybe two towels would be used instead of one - but it certainly shouldn't cost $22 extra. I have traveled all over the US, been in countless hotels, and no hotel has ever charged me more for my girlfriend. In Bangkok of all places?????
