We stayed here at the end of September and did find most aspects of the hotel good in particular the reception staff and the lovely clean bedroom we had. We dined in the restaurant a couple of times and the food and staff were pretty good. I would however say that I found the concierge team quite pushy and annoying but I found out that was just the way things are done in Bangkok as I began to explore the city more
The room was clean and good looking. The staff was friendly and willing to help us with anything. The only disadvantage was our view from the room. But I think that's not something you are willing to pay for if you're in Bangkok
Wow this place is bad. The location of it seems good by looking at a map because it is close to tourist attractions but it's really in a terrible neighborhood where there is nowhere to eat. Checkin was terrible as we asked for a king bed in a non-smoking room. Yet they tried putting us in a smoking room or a room with two twin beds. After much hassle they finally agreed to give us WHAT WE BOOKED. We got to the room and it was extremely outdated and looked like a motel from the 1980s in Las Vegas that people who gambled all their money away would use. It was also very dirty and the bathroom was moldy. We went to change our room and they gave us a smoking room even though we asked for a non-smoking room. We had to change it again they finally gave us a room we asked for. The room was still bad and the shower didn't really work but at least it was clean. The receptionists during this time were very rude even though I was just asking for what I paid for. Furthermore, the wifi is super expensive and you need to buy wifi for EACH device that you want to use. You can stay at a hotel that costs more and end up actually saving money because how expensive the wifi is. Overall, do not stay at this place if you want to enjoy your stay in Bangkok. There's a lot of places that are cheaper and same price that are wayyyy nicer than this place with friendly staff.
My company booked this hotel for me. To be honest it would not have been my choice. It was a very busy tourist hotel with the lobby filled with very loud tourists from China. I have nothing bad to say about Chinese tourists but their excitement made my stay not very enjoyable. Difficult to get assistance from the front desk as hordes of people pushing to get to the front. The neighborhood was very shabby with nothing like decent shopping or restaurants close by. While the room rate was quite low having to pay 300 baht a day for WIFI and no breakfast included it bumped up the price. For this same price you can get a decent hotel in a much nicer area with breakfast and WIFI included If you are traveling for business I recommend you look elsewhere.
Had a very good stay at this hotel for a cheap price. Don't walk in and book at the counter as they are 3 times the price.. I booked from Expedia and got 1/3 of the price they had on their website and what they were asking at the desk. Hotel was clean and service was good. The guys at the baggage are are very helpful in telling direction and offering advice. Will stay again.
It's my seconds stayed in this hotel , the hotel has a great looking lobby and well location within walk a few minutes to MBK , Siam Paragon , central world , etc . The hotel staffs are friendly and helpful, but the hotel isn't 4 stars standard services need to pay extra anything like Wifi and Gym , the room quite old amenities and carpet ( the management must think about that ) . I will be try again.
We came to Bangkok for a "workshop" - my husband works while I shop. We stayed here for 5 days. The hotel has a grand looking lobby and is well located within minutes' drive from shopping malls like Siam Paragon, Central World, etc. Though there is a BTS station not too far away, instead of walking, I would rather take a taxi (60-80baht) to go to Siam station where I take the BTS that brings me to shopping areas like Central World, Chidlom, Platinum and Terminal 21. This is rather convenient and I will not be caught in the traffic jam. Our room on the executive floor is rather spacious and the morning breakfast spread is quite wide with some delicious local and Chinese dishes as well.
Stayed here for 2 nights with my partner in July 2017. Wasn't very impressed with this hotel it says it is a 4 star hotel but is really more like 2 star at best. You don't get free wifi in this hotel which should really b standard in every hotel in this day and age. If you wanted wifi you had to pay extra on top of what I already payed for the 4 star hotel. The hotel also has a gym but again you have to pay extra to use this. Another bad point is that the hotel let tourist reps/taxi drivers hound you as soon as you walk out the door all wanting your money for tours at extortion prices. The hotel could at least keep these men off the hotel grounds. The room was ok again a bit outdated. The bed was comfy but the shower was not great it was a fixed head coming out of the wall which is a bit low for someone who is 6ft 4 the water pressure wasn't too great either. Remember to put on do not disturb sign on the door or the cleaners will wake you at 8am wanting to clean the room as we found out our first morning The staff all seem friendly and the cleanliness seemed good this hotel just needs modernist/redecorated to get anything near a 4 star hotel
This hotel was poor for the money I paid for a room. The hotel also charged extra for wifi and for use of the gym facilities! Unbelievable! Be sure to put the do not disturb sign on your door or you will have the cleaner trying to get into your room at 8.15am!!! The hotel also let hotel guests be grabbed by taxi and day trip scammers as soon as you exited the main reception doors. Shocking service for a hotel that prides itself on a 4 star basis!
The hotel services are pretty good and food is nice. Location is surrounded by the market and one can buy the local souvenirs including clothes at good price from the ground floor shop of the hotel too.
