This place is not even a 1 star. It's nasty, the smell of the room will make you puke!

We have been staying in Thong Ta Resort for 2 times. It is very convenient to access to Airport, and the street food nearby is excellent, and the stalls still opened at late night 11pm . We have book a triple room this time, which is big and good for 2 adults and 2 kids. For guest to stay, need to check the air-con, TV and shower heater if they are in good function because not all the rooms will be fully utilized. We have changed the room due to shower heater was not working. Hotel does not has elevator, be prepared to carry the luggage yourself. Overall, I will choose this hotel again next time, and may spend more time here to enjoy the street food.

The pictures displayed on Orbitz create an impression of a quality hotel. The pictures are a lie. All items are entirely ran down. We had to change rooms 5 times before we got a room that had a working a/c and a working fridge. Each bathroom we went into required drastic improvements. Should not be listed as a hotel on Orbitz. Dead bug juice on the walls, bathrooms moldy, mildew, and the rooms smell like an old cellar. the bathroom tiles are falling off the wall, the sinks are disguising, and the showers had gunk thick all over the place. We were afraid to use the shower and sink. The only good thing is the ride to the airport to leave. DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL.

Good value for one or two nights near airport. Mattress was flat. Air conditioning worked but leaked.

Bad. Ask for shuttle to airport for 8am in the evening. Was at the desk at 7:59am by the iphone clock. The lobby clock was 5 min ahead. Was told that shuttle already left. Next shuttle was in 30min or could get privet taxi. We waited for next free shuttle and made ok to the plane but was very close and we did not have time to buy duty free stuff that we was planning to do. MAKE SURE THAT CUSTOMERS ON THE SHUTTLE BUS BEFORE LEAVING IF THEY ASKED FOR IT. GET THE CLOCK SET CORRECTLY IN THE LOBBY!!!!!!

Just find out for yourselves - worth all you money!

Stay here every time I fly in to BKK, very clean and nice staff.

i first stayed at the thongta resort and spa in 2008. they didn't have the big main building yet, but had all of the kind and friendly staff, many of who are still working here. the location is great. there are good restaurants, farang foods and (my favorite) issan foods available all day and night long, as well as a 7-11 (no surprise) within walking distance. the hotel is safe and cozy. they usually have free airport shuttles or free breakfasts available when booking . . . . i always choose the free shuttles, it is great to not need to pay for a ride to and from the airport. i stay here anytime i transfer through Bangkok. i would recommend it without hesitation . . . . not that i am someone special but i don't give recommendations like this out easily.

So I booked this hotel knowing it was away from the hussle and bussle of downtown Bangkok, and the reasoning for that is because it was close to the airport. My flight arrived at Midnight, I didnt feel like taking a long cab ride into a city Ive never been before, so I stayed here. Close to the airport, nice small hotel with little cafe. Nice staff, but it is away from everything. I stayed here two nights (which includes the night I flew in at midnight) I took the sky train into the city around noon, hung out there for the day, came back to the hotel and checked out in the morning to start my adventure! This hotel was exactly what I needed, but location wise may not be for everyone if youre into the tourist thing.. I would definitely stay here again for a night after a long 20hr flight!!

I needed a place to stay in Bangkok close to the airport for one night. The hotel was very inexpensive, clean, and the shuttle was very convenient. Friendly staff. The bed was super firm, but it was only for one night so it was ok.

Arrived at 2:30am, hotel rep was at door 4 and direct those of us going to hotel were to wait for shuttle to hotel. 10 min later shuttle arrived and a quick 10 min ride to hotel. Good for a cheap layover. Not for long stays. Plenty of restaurants and bars near by. Very hard bed and air con was noisy but, for price paid it worked for 8 hours til next flight.

This got the job done for a quick nights sleep and layover from the airport. However, I would not stay here for vacation. The room was a plain motel style room but everything was very dated and used looking. I guess you get what you pay for, but I would not go this cheap again.

This place was clean and nice. We were actually pretty surprised with how nice it was, especially for the cost. My fiancé and I also got massages which was pretty nice and expensive (like most massages in Thailand). We needed a place before we went to the airport and this worked out great.

I had a flight that left at 7am out of BKK. I'm glad I stayed here. Good location, easy shuttle, and some good bars and food choices right by the airport. I will be staying again next time I pass thru.

service is so so, staff is not willing / able to look up my name my people called me from outside due to low English skills or unwillingness to help / not good service.

Closed to the airport. The staff was nice. My room is ok but not clean still had hair on the floor.

Located a short drive away from BKK airport it is very good for me coz long hours on the plane. The reception were nice but so normal not interested no make up hair messy :) The room itself was okay. I had two twin beds in my room. The bathroom was ok for 1 night coz the water from the sink was came out just a bit. Oh my room was on the 5fl but no ELEVATORS.

Staff are nice and helpful. It is cheap, clean, and simple for just a short trip. Easy to get to places

it was good for 1 night stay.the towels was torn the hotel close to the air port free shattel far away froom the city.
