The hotel is nice, clean, and spacious. The pool is inviting even though not THAT big. The staff is very helpful. We had an issue with the A/C unit during our stay, and it was tended to and fixed quickly. The location is great. Close to BTS stop, night market, shops (about 5 to 8 minutes walk away), but quiet enough.
I stayed one night again as my flights into/from Bangkok did not connect. The hotel is great as always but the restaurant normally used for breakfast is being refurbished so breakfast is now on the 2nd floor. I tried the cooked breakfast and it was all cold, eggs, bacon, beans, sausage etc? Very disappointing really given the rest of the hotel.
Our second stay here, again for a business meeting. Overall quite good but the room smelt rather dank. Breakfast adequate. The location, opposite Patpong Night Market is great, Staff were pleasant and efficient.
Stayed at this hotel 20 years ago! Has not changed ! Worn down but very “Old Thai hospitality “ very clean and great price for area! Great staff, Thai hospitality at its best, breakfast okay, within walking distance to Lumpini Park and Pat Pong Night market is 100 meters! Lots of eateries around! Great coffee shops around! Recommend if you are not looking for pool and fitness center!
Excellent Location This hotel is a 3 minute walk to the Major Night Markets. The Hotel has Excellent staff and in my opinion has a 5 -star restaurant inside the hotel. The Hotel is also near the TRAM that takes you around the city.
The hotel location is convenient for travelers and business man. Just 5 minuets walk to sky train and subway station. Room was nice and clean especially and executives room with smart toilet bowl. The pool was good decoration with a pool for kids. The price is really good I don’t think you can find such a good price in this area as Tawana offered you.
We stayed at the hotel for 5 nigths. The hotel is nice, clean but a bit worn down. Everyone is helpfull. But that Said, everything costs. I needed one piece of paper for the printer, and for that I had to pay 20 bath. Not ok. You Also have to pay for wifi in the room, something that should be there for free, I think. The hotel has a good location for going round to different places in Bangkok. The staff is not fluent in english, at all.
Hotel is a little old but that’s perfectly fine. Hotel staff are simply awesome. Breakfast in my opinion is not good. Very centralised location. Walking distance to almost all the places you would wanna go to at that ‘area’. Reasonably priced. Taxis have no problem locating the hotel. Would highly recommend staying there if your main itinerary is all about night life and the likes.
Hotel lobby was amaze. Staff are so nice. Pool is so comfortable and relaxing. And the best is price and location it is walkable distance to night market and sky train and subway. I recommend you to book deluxe room that can walk down to the pool. I surely come back here.
This was my 2nd trip here and I will stay here again on my next trip to Bangkok. The lobby is beautiful, and check-in was attentive and warm. The hallways floors are wood - no doubt old but beautiful, with a cool older colonial kind of feel to it. My room was huge, but the view was just ok. My only quibble was that in my room this time, there was no shower - only a tub with a handheld shower nozzle. I wasn't quite sure how to shower, so I kind of sat down in the tub with the nozzle to avoid flooding the floors. :-/ The location is great - easy walking distance to a Skytrain station, and there are a lot of clubs and restaurants nearby (check out Mango Tree down the street).
