The hotel location is convenient for travelers and business man. Just 5 minuets walk to sky train and subway station. Room was nice and clean especially and executives room with smart toilet bowl. The pool was good decoration with a pool for kids. The price is really good I don’t think you can find such a good price in this area as Tawana offered you.
We stayed at the hotel for 5 nigths. The hotel is nice, clean but a bit worn down. Everyone is helpfull. But that Said, everything costs. I needed one piece of paper for the printer, and for that I had to pay 20 bath. Not ok. You Also have to pay for wifi in the room, something that should be there for free, I think. The hotel has a good location for going round to different places in Bangkok. The staff is not fluent in english, at all.
Hotel is a little old but that’s perfectly fine. Hotel staff are simply awesome. Breakfast in my opinion is not good. Very centralised location. Walking distance to almost all the places you would wanna go to at that ‘area’. Reasonably priced. Taxis have no problem locating the hotel. Would highly recommend staying there if your main itinerary is all about night life and the likes.
Hotel lobby was amaze. Staff are so nice. Pool is so comfortable and relaxing. And the best is price and location it is walkable distance to night market and sky train and subway. I recommend you to book deluxe room that can walk down to the pool. I surely come back here.
This was my 2nd trip here and I will stay here again on my next trip to Bangkok. The lobby is beautiful, and check-in was attentive and warm. The hallways floors are wood - no doubt old but beautiful, with a cool older colonial kind of feel to it. My room was huge, but the view was just ok. My only quibble was that in my room this time, there was no shower - only a tub with a handheld shower nozzle. I wasn't quite sure how to shower, so I kind of sat down in the tub with the nozzle to avoid flooding the floors. :-/ The location is great - easy walking distance to a Skytrain station, and there are a lot of clubs and restaurants nearby (check out Mango Tree down the street).
I was here for 3 night. It was my great time in Bangkok. Hotel location is really convenience for people to walk to night market and sky train. Moreover concierge and reception are always smiling and offer you a help. If you have enough time don't forget to visit their pool it was so nice and comfortable.
Hotel is perfectly placed for sightseeing with easy links to the sky train and underground. Free shuttle tuktuk takes you to the pier where you can catch the public ferry boats. Concierge was very helpful (good job really as the staff on reception didn’t seem to understand anything I was asking - even a simple thing like ‘do you have a map’). A young lady looking after the lobby bar was also fantastic - so friendly and helpful. Lobby bar had pianist and singer on nights we stayed - so relaxing. Breakfast buffet had a good selection, we didn’t have evening meal. Plenty of street food nearby with some restaurants. Nearby night market is typical tourist market with plenty of fake bags and watches etc - no food. The bars surrounding the market appeared to be full of scantily dressed young girls and we were continually pestered to go inside for various shows etc.
They really need to change the carpet and repaint the walls. This hotel wreaks of cigarettes from back when it was a smoking hotel. The only thing nice is the hotel lobby. Wish they put more effort into the upkeep of the rooms. The staff is great though.
The room is just ok, but the bathroom is poor, old and dirty. The price of this hotel (I stay in a lot of hotels in Asia) must be between 35 and 40 euro. Only the lobby looks fine, but the rest is it a 3 star hotel, not more.
The hotel has an old style to it and reaks of smoke from the old days. Concierge and bells boys were great before and after we stayed. Rooms should get renovated as some of the styling is outdated and moldy especially in the bathroom. Our shower door couldn’t close, the magnet in it wasn’t working. The bațhroom flooded a bit after showering, that was a mess. We do like the central control for the lights and AC which was very convenient. Room service was nice when we ordered a late breakfast. Our room didn’t include breakfast, but they did include 50% off for the restaurant at the lobby for breakfast. As for airport transportation, they just call a limo/taxi which is not complimentary. The location has great walkability. It’s about a 10 minute walk to BTS Sala Daeng, 6 minute walk to MRT Sam Yan, 2 minute walk to Patpong Night Market, and many other bars nearby. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.
