My husband and I were in Bangkok for the Coldplay concert and wanted to stay near the Rajamangala National Stadium. The hotel was not near. We were lucky that it was easy to hop on a bike and make our way to the concert location. The hotel room itself was nice and clean. Booked a room with king bedding but the hotel was fully booked and we got twin bedding instead. There was a dirty flask which we managed to change. But for the price we paid (Sgd56), guess we can't complain much. I was just glad that the sheets were clean and there was hot shower to bathe under. The breakfast was terrible.
Not very far from rajamangala, i stayed in patra Apr '17 for coldplay concert. +the cleanliness is welldone +the staff and managment is very helpful..i was in panic attack when the required document for changing coldplay concert wasnt complete enough, and i need some PC+internet+Printer..the staff, manager and managment was very handful and fast to help my needs despite they very busy in receptions cause people just arrived and want to check in. Very good work of team ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ +comfort bed and A/C +when i leave the hotel, the room was in clean up..they didnt touch your personal belongings even snacks..just a make up a hotel stuff +the taxi reserved when you check out is fast and no scam just fair with meters. Again, this is about good work of service. +the pool is modern, enjoyable and instagramable, located in rooftop building next to hotel. +walking about 500m from the hotel you can go to KFC 24hours and Foodlands 24hours (supermarket sell more variety item then 7eleven with little bit cheaper thean 7eleven) and have mini restaurant Which in breakfast time people queing up becaouse of goodfood. _____________________________________________ -location is not very fav unless you have any purpose near Ramkhamhaeng (rajamangala std, university, suvarnabhumi airport, etc) -hotel room is little bit old style -the separate walls little bit thin, sometimes you can hear sound from your next room
It's great hotel with complete facilities. Good breakfast, fast service for the receptionist. Near suvarna airport but wifi only available at lobby. Prepare 1000 baht for deposit. I recommend you to stay here if you have something to do at Rajamangala National Stadium
We had a 2 nights stay in the patra, good info and coperative from the staff although their english is not very good. The hotel is a bit far from town but only a foot steps away to get a taxi. The hotel should provide more halal food to attract more muslims to Thailand.
.... Thats it....everything you need. Pool, gym, breakfast, loundry, hot water shower and cold water in fridge... Good service, okey food, good location for us...just couple day here waiting for our plane back to home. -- Lots of China people signing karaoke 8am to 11pm or even more!
This hotl is OK if you have business in the local area, but we were greeted with a demand for a 100 Baht deposit even though we have laready paid for the room via Agoda. Made it feel like a hostel. Large groups of Chinese tourists had set up a loud and impromtu market in the foyer and the lift stops at every level. No tea and coffee in the room and a microwave that needed a good clean. General cleanliness is OK and the staff were very helpful. The food from room service was quite bad, but my son said he liked the burger. You pay for the wifi in your room. No room service menu in the room so had to go to the restaurant to order-defeats the purpose of room service. A bit too Fawlty Towers for me.
We chose this hotel because friends we were meeting up with had already booked. The reviews we read were attrocious, and normally we would have avoided an establishment with such dire reports. As our taxi pulled up, I was wondering what we had let ourselves in for - it looked really drab from the outside. However, when we walked into reception it was OK. We went to the over-staffed reception desk, and eventually somebody bothered to deal with us. Once we had their attention, check-in was quite slick. Hotel staff were quite helpful for the rest of our stay. We took the lift to the 6th floor, and walked a drab corridor to our room. Once inside the room, it certainly exceeded our expectations. Again, a fresh coat of paint would have helped but it was actually quite comfortable. Breakfast was a standard Thai hotel breakfast - basically adequate. One funny incident - we were in the swimming pool when it started raining. The staff evacuated us, saying swimming was not permitted in the rain.
I didn' like the atmosphere of this hotel. The room was so dark and my bed wasn't comfortable and maked noise all the time when I slept on it, but the room was some how clean. and you just can use the internet in the lobby and I didn't like breakfast buffet and meals. so generally not feel safe in this hotel
The Patra was about 1 km walk from our Air Rail stop. We chose this hotel because they do early check in for no charge (providing they have a room available). We arrived at the hotel at 9:30 am and were quickly checked in and given our key The staff was very attentive and polite. They also exchange currency at this hotel and the rate was better than that at the airport. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There was a microwave and a large fridge. There is a pool at this hotel but it was on top of the tower beside ours. We simply had to walk over to the other building and take the elevator to the top floor. There are change rooms, toilets and towels in the gym area that you can use. The pool was clean and there was a bar there but it did not seem to be open when we were there. There is road noise by the pool as it is right beside the highway but we didn't mind it. They have put shrubs etc around the pool so you don't have to look at it. It was a great place to go after a hot day out. We liked this hotel and the location so much that we ended up changing our plans to return to this hotel for our departure.
Booked a package with a friend. The hotel is below average and although it's not fat from the main attractions it's not close to the metro or the sky train which was really inconvenient considering Bangkok horrible traffic. It takes you minimum 45 minutes to reach anywhere We took a twin bedded room and the bed was more of a rollaway bed with wheels that was really inconvenient as well. Had to really push the bed against the wall to make it somehow stable Reception is friendly but they don't speak much of English HK was perfect and spotless
