if you enjoy a quiet stay this is the hotel for you. Check in was quick and easy. I booked a superior studio for 2 adults and 2 children (age 8 and 11) and paid for an extra bed. The extra bed option which we paid around 1100 THB pr night is quite expensive compared to other hotels we stayed at. We usually don´t spend much time in our room and the size was fine for the 4 of us. Bathroom is really nice and well maintained. The room had a small kitchenette with a large fridge and freezer. We filled the fridge with our own food and beverages. Free bottled water was provided every day. Cleaning was efficient and the room was always spotless when they had been there. There are washing machines and dryers in the basement. You have to bring your own washing powder. Unfortunately I don´t remember how much it cost to use the machines but bring lots of coins. We had a nice garden view and it was very relaxing to wake up to the sound of birds singing instead of Bangkoks terrible traffic. I especially enjoyed my morning coffee on the balcony amongst the butterflies and playing squirrels. Life doesn´t get much better than this when you wake up this way. We didn´t try their breakfast since we chose to eat at Paradise Mall. If you want to go to the nearest mall (Paradise) just go to the reception and the free golf cart will take you there. If you want to go to Seacon Square he´ll take you as far as 7/11 and it´s a short walk through HaHa55 Mall. Due to too much traffic he can only drive you halfway to the Rama IX Park. When it´s time to go home you simply call the hotel and ask for a pick-up. Very efficient and very polite staff. I love this area. The hotel should not be hard to find from the main road as it is just straight ahead and then to the right and then turn left, when you have crossed the small bridge. At least we found it right away but since we grew up in the neighborhood and have familiy living nearby it might not be so odd. It is located quite far from any train stations and it seems that traffic jams starts right around Seacon Square, but I love the tranquility of this hotel. If you stay here during weekends the Train Market behind Seacon Square is open and you can shop ´till you drop. There are a lot of places at the Train Market to go out for a cold beer and listen to live music. From here you could just walk to the hotel. Our children loved the pool which we had almost to ourselves. It is large and clean and pool towels are provided. It didn´t feel like a hotel, more like a home. This is now my favourite spot in Bangkok. It has everything I need in the neighborhood. Most importantly clean rooms and peaceful atmosphere. Transfer to Suvarnabhumi Airport was about 500 THB in a large taxi. I´m definitely returning next year.
I recently stayed for 2 nights at the Park 9 Hotel, 6.5 Km from the Bangkok International Airport. The hotel was spotless and we were greeted in a friendly and professional manner. Our room was on the 3rd floor overlooking the wonderful garden and pools below. There was a lift so access to the upper floors was no problem. The shock came when we went to the restaurant above reception. What glorious and wonderful food. The chef is better than good. Some of the food was the best I have ever eaten in 71 years. I would recommend the b’b’q pork chop. Room service was prompt. Breakfasts were Thai until lunch and dinner when the western menu is added. There is no buffet for breakfast. At the main pool there are walk in steps but no rail so those with walking difficulties may find it hard. There is no bar service poolside. Reception told me that about 40% of the rooms are permanently occupied, mostly by businessmen and some with their families. There were no other people in the pool from 2 pm to 5 pm when we were there. What a wonderful experience for a change. This place delivered.
This is a beautiful serviced aparthotel. The pool is large and very quiet and there is also a gym, sauna and steam room which you are welcome to use. The rooms are clean and modern and the staff can't do enough to help you. If this hotel was a bit closer into the city I would definitely say it is the best place to stay in Bangkok, but it is quite far out. It is incredibly reasonably priced and there is a really nice restaurant and bar on the premises. I would highly recommend.
Good clean modern accommodation. Lots of facilities. Close to a few malls and free on demand golf cart shuttle. Bed comfy. Nice bath and lots of hot water on demand. Staff efficient and friendly. Recommend and will use again. Short taxi ride to airport. Very much suitable for a stop over near airport or short term living ..not really a holiday place.
true paradise amongst the clods of pollution go Bangkok. walkable distance to paradise shopping mall. big nice rooms. free water. internet all over the place. pool clean. nice staff. allowed early check in for free.
Awesome place outside busy Bangkok and close to BKK airport. It seems as if most of the guests are living here for longer and not so many tourists find their way here but we enjoyed very much. Large rooms and free shuttle to shopping mall, good restaurant and very nice Pool area including baby Pool, we recommend and would come again.
I was in Bangkok for 7 days for a skating competition. I chose Park 9 as it was near the skating rink at Mega Banga. And it has 2 shopping malls and a night market just right behind the residence. As per many other reviews that I have read before booking, Park 9 is indeed well maintained with super clean rooms. The ladies at the reception are super warm and helpful. Everyone at the residence is so professional and yet so friendly and helpful. It makes my stay very comfortable. I am a very picky traveller when comes to accommodation. Park 9 is one that I do not worry that it isn't well maintained. The location of the place is great too. Both Seacon Square and Paradise Park are huge. They have all the food you need to try in Bangkok - MK at Seacon Square, Basement food market or a relatively famous Thai restaurant on the top floor at Paradise Park. And the train night market - perfect for a night to chill out. And venturing out with minimum taxi fares - less than 80 baht, you get to go to Mega Bangna, Central Bangna (all super big malls) and this nice massage place called Healthland. The place is perfect for people who want to travel Bangkok without being too close to the busy city. And perfect for family with young kids, given the facilities at the nearby malls.
The Park 9 is a great place to stay at. The ladies at the main counter were very helpful aranging rides and negotiating prices for us. The bellboys were anticipating all our needs. The restaurant has a wine card with over 500 bottles and the food was excellent. Price were way under what I expected for this quality. The spa and swimming pool were imaculatly clean. Will deffintly come back.
I checked on 29 th. They sent a car to pick up. Chargeable. With early check in possibility at extra cost, great option. Quiet location. 30 min from airport . Large room and pantry . Highlight was Ms. Montana who takes care of front office/ reception. I was leaving for airport on a Saturday evening. Cautioned me on traffic. Advised me not to stop for money exchange or ATM. Spoke to driver. Ensured I carried bath , change. She gave some! 👏👏👏👏 Great feeling.👍
I have recently returned from a 3 night stay at Park 9. What a perfect place to end a 16 night holiday in Thailand. From the moment we arrived we were treated with kindness and respect. Our rooms were lovely with the most serene outlook from the large balcony. Daily housekeeping was very very good. The shuttle on demand to the nearest shopping mall, about 300 metres away was a bonus, especially when the temperatures were in the high 30's. The large swimming pool was devine, surrounded by tall palms. I have read a few comments on the service from the restaurant. I have to say that the staff were attentive, thoroughly professional and most of all very kind and lovely. Nothing was too much trouble and the food very yummy. We did not eat breakfast as we had a toaster, kettle, plates and cutlery in our rooms. Would I stay here again...most definately and would recommend you all do the same. A taxi to the airport arranged by the beautiful girls at reception was only 250Bht..approx NZ$9, for a half hour journey. Bargain. Thankyou all again and see you next time...Lorraine Howard
