Stayed here during one of the long transits. The place is not too far from airport, had nice, clean and comfortable rooms with well stocked mini bar and tea/coffee station. Definitely worth the value than hotel inside the Suvarnabhumi airport.
It’s a nice and clean hotel to stay!! For the budget price I would recommend you to stay here it’s very near to the airport a taxi from here would cost you around 120 Bhat approx !! The staff here was friendly and helpful it has a minibar on a chargeable basis at this price range hotel I didn’t expect that!!
My plane was delayed so i missed my next flight and therefore had to stay in Bangkok for a night. i went to the Hotel desk at the airport and asked for the hotels there. They showed me 3 and i chose The ivory . Had to pay 1400 for the room with breakfast and transport to and from the hotel. As this was last minute and didnt want to chase around with 2 heavy bags i took it. The driver came round after a while and took me to the hotel. Check in was quick and i was shown the room. It was ok. Better than most as it has working Air Con and shower facilities. TV worked but most channels were fuzzy. The good thing is it was by the main road for access to the food stalls a block away but i opted to stay and eat in the restaurant. The staff there was ready the whole day. I ate and went back to sleep. The restaurant was open again at 6am for breakfast and self service drinks and toast which i find was very nice. Staff are warm and food was good. This was a good stop to have and considering my circumstances they relaxed me a bit. I told them what time i want to go to the airport for my flight and they were nice to tell me i would be early. But i stuck to my times as i hate being late and the taxi came early to pick me up. i wasnt called out so i finished my food before i went out and the driver was waiting patiently for me. Overall it was a great service and i would probably go here again if i get stuck . But hopefully not as i dont like wasting extra money and time for no reason. So i recommend this to anyone who is stuck and not interested in travelling to central wasting time and money. It is near the main road so it might be noisy for most people
We chose this place due to its location near the airport. The staff were very nice and friendly...and this was at 5:30 a.m ! The rooms are pain but ours was clean and adequate for a short stay. The ride from the airport was 200 bhats...okay I think...especially at this time of the morning. Our luggage was even carried up to the room. Check-in was fast and efficient . We did not stay long in the morning as we were moving closer to downtown Bangkok. We found the room quiet enough .
I stayed here a couple of times several years ago when it was new and so I knew the location was good for the Airport. However in the 7-8 years since I last stayed here it has aged about 30 years internally. The rooms are spacious but fitted out in what looks like 1970's-80's cheap furniture and the showers need a bit of an update. When I have stayed here previously both breakfast & a free transfer to the airport were included but neither is included now so doesn't represent such good value. Still a useful 'head down' hotel for a late arrival / early departure from Suvarnabhumi
Well, the location is great if your coming late to Bangkok or have an early flight in the morning. The bed and the pillows were pretty hard and not comfy at all... The highway just outside the hotel doesn't make it more easy to sleep. Noisy all night long. Bring earbuds! The WiFi was great and the lady in reception very kind. The Ivory resto was also serving good food for the guests. Overall not bad, lat krabang is a boring area to live, don't book more than 1, 2 nights in this area.
The only positive thing is the location close to the airport. Photos of bed linen of my room. It was so late and i was so tired that i didn't inform the reception of that. I think that this is not acceptable, such kind of bedding (dirty and worn out) has to be thrown away.
Only stayed here a few hours although i`d booked the night as i need a place to shower and change before flight home. At first the place appears doesnt seem near the airport as you cant hear or see any planes but it actually is only a 10 minute drive. The hotel is set on a busy road side, the room was in need of decorating and the tv was real old but it worked and had loads of channels ! Their was a kettle with water and coffee which was nice. Taxi cost 200 Baht but the service was good, a nice executive car with a good driver. Receptionist at hotel friendly and helpful. The Ivory is ok for a short stay near the airport.
Good place and cheap. 15min in car from there to main airport. They have a car that will take you to airport for only 200 baht. Well worth the stay. Place is very clean and good rooms. I will use this again as I come to LOS 2 times a month
Visited twice in December. Did not arrange a transfer on our first arrival, so we were slugged a massive 650 baht by the airport limo service, could have gone downstairs at the airport to try to find a normal taxi, but was not easy as had a lot of luggage, the hotel arranged our other transfers at a much more reasonable 200 baht. Hotel itself is clean and although the beds are very hard was ok for a short stay. Close to the Paseo shopping mall. Staff at the hotel were always kind and accommodating even helping us with our luggage. Restaurant at the hotel was of good quality and staff there were always very friendly. Happy to stay here again when next in Thailand
