It was really near to where I had to be. Convenience store downstairs. You get what you pay for. I liked that they still replaced toiletries and water the next day even if I haven't used them. Small mall nearby and easy walk to the BTS. They need to update the webpage. They said my room had coffee and tea- nope it wasn't there. The hotel is now owned by a new company and some things have changed. The bar is gone, the restaurant is run by another company now - food wasn't good! Coffee was ok. Hope they try to maintain what the previous owners started. Won't stay in the room with no window again. Don't stay here if you are claustrophobic - lift was TINY!

We arrived in Bangkok to start our travels and this hotel was a reasonable price for a couple of nights. The staff behind the desk were friendly and helpful, they let us check in early for a small fee. The room was big and had everything you needed so no complaints there. Breakfast was full of oriental food, so i'd recommend eating elsewhere if you don't fancy noodles at 8am. There is a convenience store on site. The destination wasn't too bad, just a 10 minute walk to Sala Daeng Train Station. As this was our first time in Bangkok we decided to ask for advice on travel around Bangkok. We spoke to a lady (seemed to be the owner) sat on the excursion desk which was in the hotel lobby. She attempted to sale us every excursion possible in her book and wasted our time as we made it clear that we were not interested in any excursions during our stay in Bangkok. She didn't seem to want to give us the advice we needed about travel. When leaving the hotel we booked an Uber to the nearest coach station, however, as she noticed we were leaving she insisted we used the hotel taxi rank. This was more expensive than an Uber so we did try to negotiate the price to which she replied 'Uber is dangerous, they will steal your bags be careful'. She made us feel very uncomfortable and as if we had to use her service. Good things: -Destination -Room -Price Bad things: -Lady (owner?) -Breakfast

In the heart of the more well situated economically part of Bangkok, Chaydon is surprisingly affordable and very convenient. We stayed here one night for our visit at Nahm restaurant witch is located just 50 meters up Sathorn Road. The receptionists were very helpful with booking transportation for us and gather the information we asked about. The rooms were clean and modern, and frugal as you get what you pay for - that is to say, I think you get more than what you pay for here, actually. Our room were well ventilated and quiet. We chose the rooms without windows, would probably go for room with window next time, if we should stay longer. Would definitely visit Chaydon again!

This is my 4th stay here and it is very good value. Very clean rooms and comfortable bed. O prefer the rear rooms as they are away from Sathon Road and very quiet. I purposely book the rooms without a window so it's nice and dark for a good sleep. Breakfast which is included is fairly basic but has the usual breaky items and the coffee is nice. The location is right next door to The Australian Embassy plus other embassies in the area. Train is just down the road so it's a good location for getting around. Back again for sure.

Stayed for three nights. Location was good and hotel was quite cheap, metro station was near to the hotel, 7 Eleven was in the same building. Rooms were clean and quite, staff was also good. Not so many food options around if you are not eating in hotel.

I booked this hotel solely on the fact that I needed to visit the Aust. Embassy (it's 2 doors down). The room (economy, no window) was spacious with a king sized bed, a fridge and a room safe. The bathroom is quite large with a nice, semi-enclosed shower. Good air-con. It's on a main road (Sathorn), so buses are nearby. BTS about a 7-minute walk. I stayed on the 5th floor. There is a wifi signal, but it constantly drops out. I asked the staff to fix this and they immediately sent a technician with a router to my room. The wifi worked for 1 hour and then refused to reconnect. (I needed to work online). I talked to the staff again and was given a new room. A smaller, more claustrophobic room. None of the rooms has windows, but the rooms are clean and well presented. There is a 7-11 next door and a cafe downstairs. The TV has English language cable. The staff is quite unfriendly but reasonably helpful. I won't stay here again.

Stayed in the standard room for 2 nights. Room clean and extremely cheap for its location. 10 mins easy walk to the Silom area with malls and restaurants. There are skytrain and MRT stations all around the hotel within easy short walking distance. Had to change room once due to mozzies in the room. Rooms in the front of the hotel can be a bit noisy due to the proximity to the main road.

It is a real value for money property, situated right next to the Embassy of Malaysia. Very convenient location for visa runs for a few embassies . I had work at the Malaysian one. We came in early and the reception was very accommodating of our request for an early checkin . Thank you. Internet speed was intermittent... great at times, slow on some occasions. There is a 7/11 in the complex - very convenient.

This hotel locate on Sathorn road where is the business area. It's not far from public transport such as sky train (Chong nonsi and Saladang) and underground (Se-lom and Lumping), around 15 min by walking. The facilities consist of TV, lamps, hair dryer, air conditioner, wifi and small refrigerator. The room is clean. There is 7-11, nail salon, coffee shop, and massages. Staffs are nice. Breakfast is also included. I'm not sure for shutter bus to the airport, plz ask the staff.

The staff is rude, no help to open the door with the luggages. (just look at us struggling...). Not even a "hello" ! Rooms are not like in the pictures, they are 30 Yo, smelly, not clean. And dont expect a wifi, it s so slow that you will give up using it. 2 stars for the location. But You can get much better for just 200 baht more a couple of meters away !
