Hotel was not a 3 star one, at the hotel checking they asked to pay $200 as a deposit and not even a smile on their face to welcome us, the hotel staff can't even communicate with us in any language, they are so rude, I recommend that don't waste your time and money for this Hotel.
The location, reception, staff, breakfast are all fine but The rooms have Bed Bugs. The least you expect from a hotel is basic hygiene. The bed bugs experience at the Ecotel Bangkok put us off completely. We don't recommend stay here at all.
if you are looking for a place in bangkok thailand that you will only use for sleeping and shower then this one is already ok. they are near the train station, in the heart of bankok, walking distance to the night market. breakfast is already suitable to start your day. a good budget hotel.
How can hospitality people be so rude and make angry faces They must know how to deal with the guest in good manner, they pretended as if they are doing favor by giving us the rooms. No welcoming vibe Please teach your reception staff to smile and talk with the guest. Cheater liar people when I called them for the roomrate they said it was 1000bhatwhen we reached there in 15mins and they just increased the price in 1500 bhatt. I had no choice rather staying there as it was midnight already and checked out tomorrow morning. I don't remember the name of that man.
Hotel location, staff all good. Rooms are also okay as per budget but after a long day of tourism... got into bed tho find there were need bugs. Couldn't sleep all night and sitting and writing this review so people who are really sensitive to bugs and alike please be careful. I have the booking for one more night but I might check into another hotel rather than spending the night in the washroom tending the bites!
Worst hotel i have ever stayed. The rooms are so smelly and very suffocating. And top of all the staffs are very rude. They don't cooperate with the customer. They should learn how to behave with the customer. The management of the hotel should look in these issues they should teach their staff how to behave with the customer otherwise they are gonna loose each and every customer in near future. For sure i will never recommend this hotel to anyone.
I was a bit skeptical about this hotel, but was good value for money nonetheless. Good breakfast options, okay rooms and location is pretty apt for shopping. They have a cafe next door where the food is nice with decent price.
Please don't visit in this hotel if you have with your family.I have booked superior room with one extra bed but the have adjusted me in two bed room with a bed so small room.No fresh air,non cooperative staff ,they talked rudely to the customers.I lived hare for three days from 2nd to 5th jan.Breakfast is worthless for indians you have to manage it from outside .Bathrooms are so small . So a big no to this hotel for family.
Stayed in this place for 3 days with my friends and mom. Amazing buffet for breakfast. Had lot of vegetarian choices to pick which was a good news for me. How ever, this place happened to be in a location where the noise is inevitable. Close to Boiyoke tower and street shops. But found it hard to explain to taxi drivers since its bit small and hidden in Bankok. Would recommend if you dont mind a bit of noise but appreciate the buffet and affordability.
I booked river cruise from the travel desk of hotel which is fixed on the hotel gate. The person took full charges and confirmed trip to me a day before , on the day of trip called me to inform that trip is not confirmed because of over booking. I had to wait for 2+ hours to get my money back and hotel staff took no responsibility of anything Worst experience
