Not For Tourist

This is a serviced apartment, not a hotel so hotel services are minimal, with no English speaking staff on the premises after 6 pm or on Sundays. Location might be good for business traveler who wants to be in the Ekkamai area but for a tourist, it's too distant from everything and your time is exhausted just getting back and forth. Free tuk-tuk to BTS station helps but, again, it's not available after 6 pm or on Sundays. Really nothing within walking distance. WiFi was iffy while I was there and phone out of order. Nice manager, comfortable bed and washer-dryer for laundry but that, unfortunately, doesn't compensate for the location.

Excellent stay at the beautiful Celadon

We had a wonderful and amazing stay at The Celadon! Our entire family was absolutely blown away by the beauty and conditions of the apartment! It was absolutely gorgeous! It was probably one of the most beautiful hotels we have stayed at. It was elegant, luxurious, and very clean. We were very happy and very comfortable there. There is also a washer and dryer in the apartment which was very convenient. In addition, the consideration and service of in particular the manager was excellent. She was very attentive and encouraged us to contact her for any help. Even though she leaves the hotel around 5, she left her phone number with us so we could contact her if we had any trouble, even if it was just communicating with taxi drivers while we were out. The only drawback of this hotel is that it is very hard to find! Even if you just give the address to a taxi driver he probably won't recognize the hotel or be able to find it right away! When we were going there the first time our taxi driver got lost! I strongly recommend either printing out a very explicit map of the location for your taxi driver or even calling the hotel ahead of time for instructions (the manager there who will most likely be receiving your call speaks excellent English). But once we arrived and checked in we were given an paper with the address and clear instructions in Thai to show taxi drivers for the future. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel!
