As it was the rainy season prices dropped down all over Bangkok, I got this one for a good price and once I arrived I was also upgraded to a Superior Room. Location is great, easy commute from the airport and to the city's attractions. There is an amazing restaurant next to it, extremely cheap and superbly tasty. Room are basic; good AC though, I've got room 407 facing the main road, so noisy but it didn't bother me, if you're a light sleeper it's to be avoided this solution.nice front desk staff, their English is not the best but they listen and try to help to all question. FYI there is a 500 Baht deposit to pay upfront when checking in that will be refunded on your check out. I would definitely stay here again.
It is in the center area of city, can walk to MRT station . It is new and clean. But the staff is stranger for people who works in hospitality field, especially in Thailand " land of smiles ". Every time you walk back the hotel or walk out the lift they just stare at you, no smiles, no greetings. Not recommended to people with this behavior.
If you are looking for a bed, a bathroom, and an air conditioner, with zero by way of amenities or customer service, you've found your spot. Do not expect a taxi or tuk tuk drivers to know where the place is. The front desk has little cards with the hotel name on the front and a little map on the back. Drivers still have no idea where to go. If you want breakfast, you have to order it before you eat dinner the previous day. If you ask for a bottle of water, you will be looked at as though you have horns on your head. You can ask for a wake up call. They will say yes, but the phone will never ring. The towels are worn and frayed at the edges. We did not choose this hotel. It was chosen by a travel/tour agency. I will inform the agency that they should no longer send their customers here. With all of the options available in Bangkok, there is really no reason to stay here.
Nice and quite hotel centrally located in Sathorn Bangkok, close to everything. Room has been upgraded for no charge to superior room what was really lovely! Big room, very comfortable and super huge bed, balcony with a street view. No hairdryer, good WiFi in a room, complimentary water. Reasonable price and good for money. Definitely will return again.
Good location and friendly staff. Close to Lumpini Park (approximately 10 mins walk). No hangers in the wardrobe, no hairdray, no face towels. Would definitely recommend it to friends. I booked two more nights after my first stay there.
If you can go somewhere else, just do it. - There is not hot water - Internet is a not good and only for 2 devices - Water pressure is very low - No side walks, motorbikes and car all day long passing just milometers from you. Restaurants around are overpriced!
Terrible service. No sense of proper customer service. Don't believe the reviews. We needed to book just one night so I figured it would be okay. The "Taxi Service" lady downstairs tried to rip me off and was talking about us thinking that I was a complete foreigner. Unfortunately for her I can fluently understand and speak Thai. Never again!
I find the rate to be okay but it's a budget hotel with no hairdryer, shower cap etc.I was sad about the showerhead. it's the conventional fixed/immovable type. the receptionist wasnt the warm type. perhaps it's the language barrier.there was a prob in the room i was explaining and he misunderstood. it's not a short walk to mrt or bts and far from shoppong areas. there's a restaurant that serves tasty food at v reasonable price though between this hotel and ibis sathorn. been travelling to bkk.sadly Aim is the least that I like.
Clean, nice, well designed hotel with friendly staffs. Price is reasonable too. Had a comfortable stay here. Pretty spacious too with good service from staff. There's a pokestop here too! Highly recommended.
I discovered AIM Hotel by chance. I am a regular visitor to Thailand and this is where I will be staying from now on. Very clean and comfortable rooms with all the usual facilities. There is no restaurant or breakfast served though but that matters not at all. Within 500 metres each side of the hotel are many small and clean little restaurants serving a variety of cuisines. Eg. almost opposite is a very nice French run place that serves Thai, French and Italian food. 50 metres away is a lovely coffee shop. The hotel is very centrally located in a small interesting soi [small side street] and is only a $1.20 [40 bAHT ] taxi ride to Silom and Sukhumwit Roads.
