The Aim Sathorn Hotel

The rooms are nice, with a firm comfy bed. I'm also pleasantly surprised there are so many power points in the room - which is great. However, on the opposite end, unfortunately, the 'reception' staffs - more of a small L-shaped table, really - aren't exactly the most friendly - and they hardly even smile. Also, it's not a 24-hour reception. I think it closes @ 1am. Ditto with the entrance, which will require the door key as an access key - which is OK, for security reasons. The location of the hotel is also a bit far from the MRT stations. So, in order to commute around, take a taxi. If one doesn't mind this, then is a slightly better hotel, especially considering the price. Another plus point is there are a lot of restaurants around.

Place not terrible, location was OK with a few restaurants near by. I would recommend it apart for the fact that dogs locked in a restaurant in the Soi directly outside the place bark all night. DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU LIKE TO SLEEP AT NIGHT. All nights long dogs barking and snarling. YOU WILL NOT SLEEP!!

Was there for 5 nights. The room had a broken chair, the AC was cold but noisy, the sink wasn't draining perfectly, and you couldn't get any hot water. Hot water was only available in the shower. The house keeping service was a little slow, sometimes it doesn't get to my room till 1 pm. The neighborhood is full of European/Mediterranean restaurant and cafes. Probably the best part of the location. The MRT Lumphini station was about 20 min walking distance. Next time i will consider staying there.

As it was the rainy season prices dropped down all over Bangkok, I got this one for a good price and once I arrived I was also upgraded to a Superior Room. Location is great, easy commute from the airport and to the city's attractions. There is an amazing restaurant next to it, extremely cheap and superbly tasty. Room are basic; good AC though, I've got room 407 facing the main road, so noisy but it didn't bother me, if you're a light sleeper it's to be avoided this solution.nice front desk staff, their English is not the best but they listen and try to help to all question. FYI there is a 500 Baht deposit to pay upfront when checking in that will be refunded on your check out. I would definitely stay here again.

It is in the center area of city, can walk to MRT station . It is new and clean. But the staff is stranger for people who works in hospitality field, especially in Thailand " land of smiles ". Every time you walk back the hotel or walk out the lift they just stare at you, no smiles, no greetings. Not recommended to people with this behavior.

If you are looking for a bed, a bathroom, and an air conditioner, with zero by way of amenities or customer service, you've found your spot. Do not expect a taxi or tuk tuk drivers to know where the place is. The front desk has little cards with the hotel name on the front and a little map on the back. Drivers still have no idea where to go. If you want breakfast, you have to order it before you eat dinner the previous day. If you ask for a bottle of water, you will be looked at as though you have horns on your head. You can ask for a wake up call. They will say yes, but the phone will never ring. The towels are worn and frayed at the edges. We did not choose this hotel. It was chosen by a travel/tour agency. I will inform the agency that they should no longer send their customers here. With all of the options available in Bangkok, there is really no reason to stay here.

Nice and quite hotel centrally located in Sathorn Bangkok, close to everything. Room has been upgraded for no charge to superior room what was really lovely! Big room, very comfortable and super huge bed, balcony with a street view. No hairdryer, good WiFi in a room, complimentary water. Reasonable price and good for money. Definitely will return again.

Good location and friendly staff. Close to Lumpini Park (approximately 10 mins walk). No hangers in the wardrobe, no hairdray, no face towels. Would definitely recommend it to friends. I booked two more nights after my first stay there.

If you can go somewhere else, just do it. - There is not hot water - Internet is a not good and only for 2 devices - Water pressure is very low - No side walks, motorbikes and car all day long passing just milometers from you. Restaurants around are overpriced!

Terrible service. No sense of proper customer service. Don't believe the reviews. We needed to book just one night so I figured it would be okay. The "Taxi Service" lady downstairs tried to rip me off and was talking about us thinking that I was a complete foreigner. Unfortunately for her I can fluently understand and speak Thai. Never again!
