The hotel is nice with good location . I stayed here for couple of time and happy mostly but just for tonight when I met one receptionist , Her name is “Aoy”( I met her before and she wasnt so friendly from the first time either but this time is worse!!). I booked a room for a friend and at front desk , she said she need my Id card cos i am the one who booked the room, so I told her I havent brought it with me , Can i give her at check out time? But she said nothing , all the time her face is so moody and unfriendly , finally i asked why she behaved like this and she just said (without looking at me) that I am just like this!!! so i said this is your work and hotel work is about service!!I told her she should have smile a but to make guest feel good but she said i just can be like this!!! Omg i told her I ve been so many hotels but never seen any staff like you! And she shouted that she doesnt care how luxury hotel I was before!!! Cant believe that i would experience this kind of hotelier!! She should not be there unless the owner see something good in her which i think guests like us will never experience it!!! My friend asked me not taking her picture unless she do it again!!!

Perfect choice for staying at Bangkok. Hotel is clean and good located. Close to the historical part of the city and popular Khao San Road. It takes you few minutes to get there, but the street is away from noisy city parts.

We booked the deluxe room – it was large and clean with a daily service that includes extra toiletries and fresh bottles of cold water. The shower temperature runs either boiling hot or too cold – there’s no happy medium. No hairdryer. Location-wise, there’s not a lot in the hotel’s immediate vicinity but it’s only a short walk (ten minutes or so) to Khao San Road, restaurants, bars and markets. It’s about an hour from the airport and the trip costs around 500-600 baht in an Uber. Wifi works, but you need to log in each time, and need several different codes for different devices, which can get annoying. The hotel also has a lock-up storage facility if you need to leave your luggage, for those who have flights after check-out. Staff members aren’t overly helpful, often seemed bored, but in my experience that’s nothing out of the ordinary for Thailand. **Other reviews mention there being no elevator – one has definitely been installed since

The hotel is just a short walk away from Khao San road, and you don't hear any outside noise, only noise from your fellow hotel visitors. Rooms get cleaned everyday, when you go out of the hotel and comeback, rooms are cleaned.\ Staff were helpful and carried our luggage to the top floor when we arrived at midnight.

It's away from all the noisey areas but within walking distance. Good value for the money it cost, but there are better hotels for the same amount. So it might be worth looking around. But on the whole for what we paid we can't grumble.

Very nice and cosy hotel. Good location, short walk ( 10 - 15 mins ) from busy life of rambuti or kaoh san but far enough to have a peacful night. Rooms basic but with everything you might need. In the reception complimentary tosts with butter and/or jam and coffee.

What a surprise to walk in from the street into what you think is a budget hotel because of the good price and the enter a well-decorated, tranquil and neat hotel with high standards. Swana is well situated in the older city within walking distance from Banglamphu Market and the must-see Khao San Road night market. We took two AC rooms, one for the kids and one for us. Breakfast is just a toast and jam but there is a place with good coffee and breakfast around the corner.

The hotel was really nice. The outside might look a little dodgy at night but its actually ok to walk around the alley ways. There are a bunch of hostels and good restaurant near by (try Jok Pochana, good eats....on Trip Advisor). Two, 7 elevens and good little fruit stands everywhere. The hotel is quite, the AC works great, the cleaning staff is nice and always makes sure to leave plenty of toiletries. The complementary toast, cookies, jam, coffee and tea make for a nice light breakfast. In the evening you can sit outside in the little courtyard and watch the little koi fish. Very close to the Big standing buddha, temples and Khoasan Rd. 10-15 minute walks if not take a "metered" taxi, a few times the tuk tuks and some ((pink))taxi will ask for 200-300 baht for a 5 min ride.

Swana Bangkok is a good hotel for people looking for a cheap but nice accomodation in the middle of Bangkok. The location is good - it takes about 10 minutes to walk to khao san road and the rest of the khao san area meaning there's plenty of choice in terms of restaurants, bars and shops. Swana Bangkok staff are friendly and helpful, carrying our bags from the taxi to the room was nice. The free breakfast of toast and coffee is reasonable and will set you up for the day. Our double bed room was nice and was spacious enough for our 4 night stay. The ensuite is small but its not a problem. The room had two windows and so was nicely lit, unlike many other south east asia hotel rooms. The wifi in the room was good, although you only get one wifi code each and so having more than two devices means you have to log out and log in devices if you have more than two. The room was nice and quiet, even with the hotel being on a busy road and the air con cooled the room down nicely.

Good hotel, friendly staff and fast Chek in. Price is 32 euro per night and is not negotiateble. Overall Good looking a lot of meter taxi pass by. You would expect a lot of noise But it is Ok. Free water and hot shower, perfect for the "jetlag" important rest. Location next to little shop and 15 min walk to khao san. 7-11 is 50 meter
