We stayed in the suite, room 314; suitable for 4-5 pax - a living room, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Basic provisions but sufficient. The plus point of this hotel is it's location! Easily accessible via Phaya Thai airport link, and Ratchathewi BTS. The room is cleaned daily, and staffs are very polite and friendly. Some minus points are that the hotel does not has a lift. Highest floor is 3rd storey though. The room is a little poor maintained; can see water stain marks on the ceiling, soap holder dripped off, etc. The swimming pool is very small too - located in front of the entrance. Since we are out most of the time, these don't really affect us. You gonna stay here to experience it yourself.
We booked junior suite for two adult and two kid. When we arrived to a room. We have only on big bed for 4 people. They charge us 500 Bt for a extra bed for every night. Staff were nice. Hotel located 1 km from Mbk shopping Center.
BTS is the reason to stay at Siam Swana. We stayed in 314, a large 2 room suite. Aircondition om both sleeping rooms and in the livingroom. The service and the cleaning was good. We also found the pillows too hard, the AC too noicy (it was hard to get a good night sleep). The kids loved the pool and the adults had good experiences with the Dream Massage. Lots of street food just outside the hotel and only a short walk from the BTS. Only one station to Siam, but also easy access to Dino park or the weekend market. I recommend Siam Swana if the price is good, as it is a good location.
Ok, so you have a convenient location. Then you walk up to a mildly attractive building exterior and are welcomed by the cool AC flowing in the lobby...things are sounding really nice... So you check in and then head upstairs, akin to walking into a stifling sauna where you are shown a filthy, busted room. To put it simply, I've stayed in hostels nicer than this place for a fraction of the price. The safety deposit box was dead and several things in our rooms were very damaged (yes, plural roomS because we were moved). The black walls of the main living space were so dirty we could literally fingerprint in dust. You're welcome for the heart doodles! To make matters worse, the hot water in the bathroom was spotty at best and the drains were just as bad. Gross. Given all that...the worst part of this whole experience was the pillows, since they literally hindered our ability to sleep AT ALL. You know, the kind you literally just throw on the ground and say "forget it, I'll just sleep without a pillow" pillows? They really seemed like they belonged to Fred Flinstone. Worst sleep ever-do your self a favor and keep scrolling right on past this place here. Our advice: splurge a little more for a better room elsewhere.
Decent hotel and reasonably priced. Easy check in nice staff. We choose it because of its location to the BTS. The room was clean, nice, comfortable. The only down side was no window. But for evening the lighting in the room is very soft and comfortable. Also a small pool nice after a hot day sight-seeing. And a bar area, all very convenient.
stay 3 nights with my husband during our honeymood, no special arrangement in room by hotel but lucky we book for suite room, and room was clean come with super big bed:) love the lobby decoration that was cute :)
Good hotel in a good position. Actually when you go to Bangkok you don't care about pool and spa because you spend all day around the city! So why complaint abut that? Rooms are essential and clean. Staff is nice.
It was my first time and it didn't disappoint me at all. The service was excellent and the room was clean. It is close to Siam Paragon and you can walk there in just 10 minutes. The BTS is around the corner that you can go anywhere. I believe you would love it.
stay 3 night for fun trip at bangkok. the location very close from BTS siam only 5 minute, and near from siam paragon, siam discovery siam center just need 15 minute walking from hotel. they have a nice staff and you easy to find Thailand food around hotel.
I booked 2 suites for 2 couples in February, I had the suite on the 2nd level towards the street, it was amazing and huge. The were large windows throughout and quality furniture and Décor, well worth the money. My fiancée's parents were also happy with their suite although no where near as good as mine. Breakfast was good and the service was above average. if you want windows, pay a bit more cheap Charlies!!!
