The staff at the Sheraton were awesome I travel for living and my experience in this hotel was like not any other experience Upgraded to much better room on arrival was greeting. The quality of the food was superior I will recommend this wonderful hotel We had awesome times

Definitely an upper class facility with an amazing brunch service.

Location and the quality of the rooms and the staff.

A decent hotel but the first impression lasted throughout the visit. The check-in process was busy, no door man to open the door, no one to assist unload the luggage, and no one asked us to assist until we were at the check-in desk. And at that point we were asked if we needed help checking out, and where was our car? Beyond that, the 2 restaurants on the 1st level were closed after the first day of our stay with no notice given at check-in or during our booking. One was the Thai restaurant that was highly regarded and a point of our stay, well I guess we missed out there. The room was nice, a bit small and in now way reflective of a 5 star executive deluxe, club level room. Back to the check-in. No Club level check-in, no recognition of your membership status, and no arriving refreshments served. Now all of these are signatures of the 2 5-star hotels we staying in during this trip and the Sheraton fell down on this. A mark of the Thai locations is the smell of lemongrass, the cool lemongrass towelette, the smell and taste of the cold herbal tea served upon arrival. The stay was pleasant, the room was comfortable, the bed was nice. The A/C started making racket and noise as soon as we walked in the room, but was fixed within the hour. The TV quit mid relaxation and watching whatever was on, and was fixed within 20 minutes. Yes, all minor issues and items, but not what you expect from check-in to check-out at a 5-star hotel. I am truly disappointed.

Dear Reviewer, Thank you for staying at the Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit during your recent visit to Bangkok and for going to the trouble of sharing with me your stay experience. Your opinions are very valuable in helping us maintain a high level of service to guests and in ensuring that your expectations are met on each visit. I am concerned to learn that you were disappointed with the arrival and check-in experience as no one assisted you with the luggage upon arrival and had to wait for check-in. Allow me to explain that upon your arrival at around 13.00 hrs. All our Bell men and Guest Service Agent were occupied with the guests checking out at the same time resulting in delayed service delivery to you. As it was the check-out time, our Front Office Manager who noticed you in the queue thought that you were about to check out, hence he asked you so. But upon your response that you were about to check-in, he immediately assisted you with check-in. But as all check-in terminals were all occupied, he had to check-in you from another computer at back of the house. I apologize for your inconvenience. Regarding the closure of our Basil, Thai restaurant, it was closed during December 16-19 for an unexpected maintenance. I apologize for your disappointment. In addition, I understand that you experienced the noisy air conditioner and the problem with the TV in room 2104, but these had immediately fixed. I apologize for your inconvenience. The room attendants have been emphasized to pay more attention to details when inspecting the guestroom prior to guest arrival. We do hope that in spite of the incidents we will have the pleasure of welcoming you back in the future so that we are able to remedy the poor impression created on this occasion.
