Look great look good on traffic road and difficult to parking. Staffs are simple for service around here comfortable for walking look around shopping eating sightseeing and easy for travel by bts mrt to anywhere.
Stayed here for a work conference. Great hotel, close to public transportation. My room was beautiful, very comfortable bed and lots of delicious food in the restaurants. The concierge assisted with sightseeing trips. Will make sure to stay here the next time I'm in Bangkok.
This is a letter to GM as I stayed as a SPG platinum member. Nice to meet you at Rossini’s the other day. Although this time, my suite night awards were rejected and stayed at standard room for 3 nights during my 5 nights stay, overall I was satisfied by everything. There were several problems in my room about air condition and toilet hose two times, but the treatments by an engineer were quickly and efficient each time. So they were no problem for me. Even after that, I got some original chocolate with kind letters. I felt these responses at this hotel were all very quickly therefore I never felt unpleasant. However only one thing I felt unpleasant was a female Japanese staff at the reception when I checked out. She changed her language from English to Japanese suddenly, even though I kept speaking English, she continued speaking Japanese. In this case, I suppose that she should give me a very quick introduction about her “I am also a Japanese named ***** thanks for staying with us” or something like this in Japanese. The reason why I felt unpleasant about her was that she never saw my face and looked at her display. Probably she noticed me as a Japanese on her display information. Finally she never looked at my face at all during checkout procedure but kept looking at her display all the time, furthermore no smile at all. I didn’t know she was a Japanese and just thought she was a Japanese little speaking person, who was a not very good at speaking Japanese. Actually her speaking Japanese are rather rough and not formal way especially in such a 5-star hotel. Probably her boss and colleagues around her don’t notice that her speaking Japanese was not perfect for valued customers. However it was very easy to find for me as a Japanese. If she continues to do her work at the reception of such a splendid hotel and she really don’t want to be said that she was just a translator, I would suggest her to learn more formal Japanese and more decent manner. Finally she never saw my face and just told “thank you very much (in Japanese)” with keeping her eyes still on her computer display. In this way, she will never remember customers and her act is like a robot. Other than this, I was really glad to stay with your property and yours is one of the best SPGs in my experiences all over the world. One more thing I would like to suggest. Please think again about "in-room check-in/out" or "at The Library check-in/out" functions for platinum members. I felt that standing check-in of elite members is not suitable in this gorgeous hotel.
Have stayed in this hotel numerous times and it still continues to tick all the boxes. Great credit to all, super convenient to BTS, super helpful staff, great clean rooms, maintained to a very high standard and still such a delightful breakfast. It is rare these days that the General Manager is walking around the restaurant introducing himself to guests, but Richard continues to do this and it all tops off the wonderful experience. How better to get feedback from guests than to mingle with them. I continue to be frustrated by Starwood booking systems in their website, about time it was more user friendly, but if you can overcome this, then the experience at this hotel is second to none.
Our third time staying here, and continues to be our go-to Bangkok hotel. Terrific service and staff, lovely rooms and the best pool in Asia! We’ve stayed in many of the high end BKK hotels and this is our all around favourite. Well done!
I have stayed here almost 40 times but this is my first review. I have stayed at several other hotels in Bangkok and dozens of others across Asia, this hotel is my favorite. All the consistently high ratings you read here are earned by the exemplary team led by Mr Richard Chapman General Manager. It is a professionally run hotel property with very high standards and in a relaxed atmosphere for the guest. The team are genuinely eager, polite and friendly. I am writing this review because during my very recent stay I had a unusual task for the Concierge team. The team was nothing short of brilliant and helped me accomplish some business that would have been difficult for me because of the location and language. The concierge team managed the project for me and got it done on time, communicating with me constantly, it was superb guest service. "Thank you Concierge Team" This is no ordinary place, it is my second home when in Asia.
I and my family enjoyed the stay very much to have such a nice place to experience in Thailand. Special thanks to Mr Anok from the concierge and bellhop,I lost his name but he is very helpful. I stayed 24-26 Oct, my name is Vichetr Nhoeun, I will definitely come again.
We had originally planned a 3 night stay however ended up staying 1 night! The hotel is lovely, good location, a lil tired as it is one of the older hotels, it’s huge and busy and the bed was super comfy as Sheraton hotels always are however the party boats on the river at night pull up at the wharf here and the noise was loud when we went to bed but got louder as it got later, we had to find our earplugs so we could get some sleep!
Stayed there for my usual business trip and it was such a wonderful stay. Although the rooms are a bit old, they are spacious and the bed was comfortable. The room was clean and tv lovers, they have many channels for you to browse. I have to emphasize the convenience as it's linked to the BTS Asok (sheltered). There is a 7-11 nearby and street food lovers can enjoy some stalls outside. The hotel's breakfast has a good spread and i literally have nothing to complain about. Service was great and price was worth it. Will come back again!
I came for a special occasion to celebrate a friend's New job. My Friend was very impressed with the service and amazing staff of the The orchid Cafe. Tak was so helpful and efficient. He offered us some few suggestion in the alacarte and showed us different selection in the Buffet spread. We also witness the manager on duty in action dealing with korean guest, who was rude to the staff. I don't understand why they were complaining while their child was throwing all the cutlery and food around. They should teach their child some manners instead of complaining to the staff. Nevertheless, The manager handled it with professionalism and poise. Good job! Ps thank you Tak for taking good photos for my Instagram! Keep up the good work! Good job Tak and the rest of the staff of the Orchid Cafe! We will return soon!
