We have stayed at many Sheratons before but I must say this has become one of my favorites. What wonderful service and attentive staff! Checkin was delayed in 1 room and we got such a well written apology letter for it :) We booked 2 rooms with spg points and stayed on the 29th floor. The view was fantastic and the rooms were so spacious. The location of the hotel couldn't be any better being in the heart of Sukumvit. What a pleasant surprise also to find out that all food served at the hotel was halal! Plus whatever we had at the restaurant or in room dining was tasty. One of the rooms had a flickering light issue suddenly late at night and they sent in an engineer at 1am! And that too one of the most polite and happy person I've ever met! Overall a fantastic experience and we were sad it was so short. But this is our hotel of choice for all our upcoming Bangkok trips for sure!

I had to travel on Business to Bangkok whilst on Crutches due to an urgent meeting and I wrote to Mr.Richard Chapman , the Hotels "hands on" GM who made sure that all my comforts were met and I had a seamless and comfortable stay. The thing which stands out at this property is that the G.M. greets each guest personally in the evenings at the restaurants and lounges and ensures their comfort on a personal basis, not heard of in most properties this size where one has the usual welcome card signed by the GM and that it. I hope that other Starwood properties would take up this kind of attention to detail.

Quietly understated luxury. Beautiful room and pool. Great breakfast. However the most important thing is the politeness and professionalism of every staff member I encountered truly rare these days. This was a business trip but I will definitely return with the family.

The Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit seems to be very proud that it is a hotel of "The Luxury Collection" whatever this or this title means. The rooms are renovated and meet the 5* standard. The bathroom is just so so and it is old 1970s style but still well-maintained and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location with a sky bridge to BTS and several shopping center can be considered as one of the best in Bangkok. There is one thing which is really dissapointing if you come here for some leisure and relaxation. The pool area is beautiful but it does not help because it was full and crowded everyday and no benches were available for us. As soon as a bench was available people started snatching to get it as it was a public beach or a cheap hotel in Mallorca. To be honest the hotel makes advertisement with its pool and garden and the guest pays for having that benefit, for being able to use that benefit. We tried it 3 days, we did not have any single opportunity. The hotel and the management are not able to serve customers appropriately and offer what is promised and paid. Would be interesting to know if the hotel could pay some money back because an important part of the hotel could not be used by us. At first i thought to come back here because all other things are okay, but if i cannot even get a bench after doing business or a city trip, this is outstanding for me and i need to admit Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit Hotel is the onliest hotel where it happend to me during my meanwhile over 600 nights in 5* hotels within 3 years.

I stayed at this hotel for two nights and was delighted by the warm, attentive and personal service by all of the staff ranging from front desk to room service to restaurant; every single interaction I had with the staff was pleasant. The quality and selection for the breakfast buffet was also great.

This is the place to stay at, and relax in downtown Bangkok, if you can afford it of course. The location is perfect, few steps away from the metro station. The roof top pool and "oasis" is out of this world! Perfect place to relax and sip on a drink... you would not believe you are in the city! Service is great, and the room and facilities in the hotel was top notch. Would go back again!

Spent some night at this hotel during business trip to Bangkok. It´s a big hotel in a busy area in Bangkok. It´s big and have all you need. Good breakfast and a really nice pool area. Rooms are big, but the hotel is starting to get old and needs to be renovated. Bathroom had old green tiles etc. But all in all a solid hotel.

i admire the service in sheraton grande sukhumvit very much. i have stayed at sheraton grande sukhumvit more than 30 times over last few years for both work and leisure. the excellent restaurants in the hotel, the fine details in the room, the sincere service, the unbeatable location. the other starwood hotels should use sheraton grande sukhumvit as the benchmark for the service standard for the hospitality industry. me and my family will continue staying here when we are in bangkok for years to come.

Location: Very strategically located .... a short walking distance via connecting bridge to BTS Asok SkyTrain station and MRT Sukhumvit Subway station.... Room: Spacious and very comfortable... it has all the amenities that you would expect from any luxury collection hotel.. Service: very attentive and friendly... The butler service is top notch... Pool: While the pool is relatively small, it's very green and depicts a tropical resort far away from Bangkok...

Chose to stay at the Sheraton Sukhumvit on a recent visit to Bangkok - there were plenty of other contenders for my business, but the Sheraton had the edge because of my SPG membership, and also the unrivalled location with direct access to both the Skytrain and the MRT systems; a real benefit if you happen to return from a shopping spree in the rain. I was not disappointed - impeccable staff were in evidence throughout the hotel from check-in to check-out, the room was superbly appointed, and the buffets (both breakfast and dinner) sumptuous. Not cheap, but given the quality I have no complaints on that score. Would I stay here again - you bet!
