Although the hotel is in little bit inside the soi8 but thats the advantage of you like to stay in a calm environment. They also have a private tuktuk to get you in the main road. Rooms are bit small but veey clean and calm. Breakfast was also good.

this was a great hotel for the time we had in Bangkok the hotel staff are very friendly and helpful with any thing you need. the rooms are small and the bathroom has a very strange window from the bedroom in and the doors to the bathroom look like the should be doors to a cupboard, but very things works, the aircon was dripping on the bed but the reception sent someone up to sort straight away. there is free wi-fi and the signal is good in the rooms. the hotel is located at the end of Soi 8 off sekhumvit road and the hotel has a golf buggy if you want a lift to the main road. it's very convenient for the MTR and Nana station (exit number 4) is at then end of the road Siam Sq is just three stops from Nana and its about 25/30 bhat . if you want to catch the bus there is also a bus stop not far from the Nana station and you can get the 48 to wat pho for a few bhat. fir the price we paid we were very happy with this hotel

Sawadee hotels are always hit and miss this one Everything good apart from. Its far far down soi 8 further then I thought. Sure they got a tuk tuk to drop you etc if your lucky enough to catch it. I did manage to get a lift down. The Soi on my departure which was welcomed the room the shower room was well fitted had good WiFi and I managed to get the sleep I wanted and needed will recommend

For It had good wifi Quiet Had a golf buggy to pick up and drop off at the top of Soi 8 Against The A/C dripped water onto the floor if put to high or too low Couple of the staff, one male and one female, acted as if they were doing you a favour. Good job they had a buggy as it was quite a walk to Sukhumvit Road.

It is not the most luxurious but it makes up for it with value for money, good location, service and staff good. It is a little distance down soi 8 but complimentary shuttle service available at most times. Not a noisy hotel good for sleep and rooms cleaned everyday. Nice for short stay in Bangkok.

We spent 3 nights at this hotel. It's in a nice part of Bangkok ( Sukhumvit ) and situated on a nice quiet Soi with eateries and bars. It's only a 5-10 minute walk to the Skytrain or Subway ( MRT ) We had a room on the 3 rd floor with 2 beds. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. It was quite quiet too. The room was a little small , but, not too bad. The shower wasn't very hot. The breakfast was quite adequate . We would stay there again. When leaving and going to the airport we took a cab that was on the Soi each day. The cost was $12 USD

This hotel's employees are very nice & friendly, comfortable room, near Nana station, theres a lot of foodstreet & all the female receptionists they are very cute, must stay on this hotel again when I back to Bangkok :p

I stayed for 16 nights here in room 601 on the top floor facing the back. Very quiet. All you can eat breakfast when available. Free tuk tuk lift to Sukumvit road and Nana bts station also when available. The only problem was the long walk to the hotel from Sukumit road otherwise a lovely hotel and staff very helpful and got me taxi to go to Pattaya.

Located near the bottom of Soi 8 and only 8 or 9 mins walk from Nana BTS , the Sawadee is a competitively priced hotel for the area . Rooms are small , maybe just a touch too small but I might have been unlucky to be given a corner room . Wifi was free but free for a reason as it was hopeless ; waiting 10 mins for an e-mail to open is not acceptable in 2017 . Shower room was small but functional , towels replaced on a daily basis as was the cleaning services . For travellers on a tight budget , this hotel will be good for 1 or 2 days but any longer and the space constraints and lack of wifi might start to take its toll .

Really enjoyed my stay and will happily stay again Close enough to all the attractions, shops and restaurants but just far enough away from the noise Clean comfortable and friendly and great value for what I paid
