must check there wifi installation to perform connections. actually one of their worst problem. also missing of staff. Staff from reception obliged to drive shuttle... same for maids, not enough time for details....
I always stay in Soi 8 mostly in Adelphi Suites but this hotel was full so I choose this hotel which is a third of the price of Adelphi. So I paid 1200 THB for one night without breakfast which cost 180 THB. The cheapest room I booked very small, you cannot open your suitcase fully besides the bed. Outdated, dark. You hear your neighbors talking. Bed/matrasses are good. Sheets clean. Bathroom looks better than room. Hot water, good towels. Safe present. Minibar. Good breakfast for the money So for the money I payed its quiet good.
Sawasdee Hotel is very good location, not far from BTS Nana, they provide shuttle Car to send me to Nana station, and I called them to pick me up from Nana BTS too, service very good ! And very convenient, if you want to slow walk it’s about 10mins - 15mins to hotel, its room is clean & safe!
Its a little down soi 8 on Sukhumvit but fairly near to nana station bts. Which gives you perfect access to the metro access and routes as well as the numerous taxi and autos on sukumvit road. Terminal 21 mall is also approx 500m from the soi8 Sukhumvit intersection. The hotel is small and quaint, offers good rooms tho small. Perfect for a short stay. Shower was great along with adequate hot water. The room was clean im no neat freak tho so to me more than acceptable. Bed comfortable, the tv lacked alot of main stream english channels but there are a few. Would def stay again. The hotel offers ok demand golf cart lifts to the main road. There are 2 x 7 eleven stores near on the same street. There are also a good few bar/restaurants at the start of soi 8. Breakfast was included and decent, fried eggs and toast is really all u need at some stage. For a better breakfast try the restaurants near the main road they serve excellent breakfast and coffee. Wifi is good.
Full of prostitutes? drug dealers? And a very angry manager that takes money from you without your permission. If this is the sort of place your after then Welcome....St or Lt you get the meaning and have been warned....
Overall not bad, It is on soi8 quite place, but very close to all happening places ....walking distance from Nana Metro. Only concern was small rooms, no toiletries, also only one key which is a pain when you have two people and one has different plan than the other, Exp, My friend decided to go some place where I did not want to, so we decided to come back to the hotel at a time, but due to his delay I had wait outside as we had only one key. Not sure why this is common in southeast asia.
Although the hotel is in little bit inside the soi8 but thats the advantage of you like to stay in a calm environment. They also have a private tuktuk to get you in the main road. Rooms are bit small but veey clean and calm. Breakfast was also good.
this was a great hotel for the time we had in Bangkok the hotel staff are very friendly and helpful with any thing you need. the rooms are small and the bathroom has a very strange window from the bedroom in and the doors to the bathroom look like the should be doors to a cupboard, but very things works, the aircon was dripping on the bed but the reception sent someone up to sort straight away. there is free wi-fi and the signal is good in the rooms. the hotel is located at the end of Soi 8 off sekhumvit road and the hotel has a golf buggy if you want a lift to the main road. it's very convenient for the MTR and Nana station (exit number 4) is at then end of the road Siam Sq is just three stops from Nana and its about 25/30 bhat . if you want to catch the bus there is also a bus stop not far from the Nana station and you can get the 48 to wat pho for a few bhat. fir the price we paid we were very happy with this hotel
Sawadee hotels are always hit and miss this one Everything good apart from. Its far far down soi 8 further then I thought. Sure they got a tuk tuk to drop you etc if your lucky enough to catch it. I did manage to get a lift down. The Soi on my departure which was welcomed the room the shower room was well fitted had good WiFi and I managed to get the sleep I wanted and needed will recommend
For It had good wifi Quiet Had a golf buggy to pick up and drop off at the top of Soi 8 Against The A/C dripped water onto the floor if put to high or too low Couple of the staff, one male and one female, acted as if they were doing you a favour. Good job they had a buggy as it was quite a walk to Sukhumvit Road.
