I’m writing this review on behalf of my parents who stayed here while visiting me. After a long journey they were picked up by the Salil driver who was polite and helpful. The reception staff were lovely - there was a small hiccup with the rooms, in which my parents had a stay in a different twin room until their booked room was ready. They were very apologetic about this, and, although I don’t think my parents were updated on the status of their booked room, they were happy enough in the twin room and didn’t let it bother them for the rest of their trip. The breakfast was fine and my Dad liked the pool area in particular. The hotel is very clean and has good facilities and room amenities. We found the staff friendly and approachable for the duration of the visit. The cleaning staff were also so wonderful. One lady in particular - I wish I’d got her name - was so incredibly pleasant and accommodating to my parents every day. They exchanged hugs on their last day! Thank you for having us Salil
Very near to Thong Lo train station . Clean rooms and friendly staff . Surrounded by many restaurants, bars and massage places . They have complimentary Wi-Fi access too. Breakfast is good. Not much selection of food but good enough . Over all stay was pleasant . Will definitely come back again .
Really nice hotel with good value. The place is well located in Sukhumvit, where you have lot of shops, night clubs and tailor shops. If you wanna stay in Sukhumvit area, this hotel is one of the best deal there :)
The hotel and staff is very welcoming, especially for out of country visitors. We booked our room with breakfast included and the breakfast was surprisingly delicious! We honestly thought it would be a continental breakfast with not a lot to offer but it had a lot of options. One thing that was really nice was that there was a cell phone included in our room that provided access to google maps, local attractions guides, restaurant recommendations, etc. This was beyond helpful, as we did not get an international plan for our personal cell phones. The only reason I did not give this hotel 4 stars is because it seems like they have a partnership with local taxi drivers who are very pushy. My husband and I ordered an uber and went outside to wait. The taxi driver asked where we were going and we said "thanks but we have an uber on the way". He then seemed really offended and started talking about how using an uber to get around the city is bad, we should always use taxis, etc. The next day we asked the front desk attendant how to get to one of the local floating markets. She said "why don't you go to breakfast and when you're done I'll explain how to use the BTS". Well, when we went back after breakfast, there was a taxi waiting for us (reserved by the front desk agent). I explained that we wanted to save money, so instead of canceling the taxi (which we didn't ask for in the first place), she went to negotiate a lower price with the driver. We felt obligated to take the taxi and ended up just going with him.
Very nice hotel, good situation near BTS. The rooms are clean and nice. Breakfast is good. And I would like to say a very big thanks to the peoples of the hotel. They were so nice with us. We need to go to the hospital and they came with us. They let us the room until 6:00 pm and book a taxi for airport for free. Thank you so much to the team of this hotel who is so human. They explain us how to take BTS. We had a mobile phone for free to use in Bangkok, it was very practical. We came back ☺️
The amazing great hotel with the fantastic room.I couldn t tell without any doubt that I was very happy so bad when I was travelling in Bangkok and had a rest in the wonderful hotel. Thankful to the Guest Relation Officer espeacially Fahmai, she advised me many things and many place I liked to go. Without her I counldnt hop to the BTS and I was so shocked that she was fantastically communicate very well in Japanese. Finally, to all tourists around the world, this place is not a normal hotel because you will always happy when you are here. The Salil Hotel got a beautiful decoration so as the good skill in conversation (you can ask them everything you want) and so on. I appreciate to all the staff in this hotel and the special thank to Fahmai. I will comeback soon very sure when I go to Thailand !
Great little place close to lots of great eateries. Have stayed before. We had a problem with the first room in that we could not get any hot water. The staff very quickly found another room and helped us move. Nice one
I stayed here with a friend, the hotel is nice and clean, breakfast is good. Staff is helpful. There's complimentary cold water on the lobby you can take with you in the morning, which is great because Bangkok is so hot. Very close to BTS station but they will also take you there, so easy to get everywhere. Would definitely stay again. Only down side is the restaurant service so I wouldn't recommend any other meals there other than breakfast.
