I visited with my wife recently in month of December 2017. Booked Deluxe room via makemytrip Hotel hospitality is over and above expected and amazing. They are available 24 X 7 for you to help. Breakfast Buffet includes Vegetarian: Bread Butter, Fruits, On request - veg fried rice, Garlic bread Non-Veg: Soup, Chicken dish, Omelet (This was awesome), Fish etc. Since, Hotel is quite away from Bangkok city. If you wish to go for shopping near Prathnam Market you have to bear 150 to 200 thai bhat oneway. Here, one day I opt to travel via Skybus (Metro Rail) and it cost around 40 Bhat per person - Nearest Skybus station is Ramkhamhaeng Only issue is staying at hotel is slow-wifi speed which they are working on it. Chef at the hotel is a lady and very polite and responsive for your required food menu. I personally thank to hotel and their staff for such a great hospitality.
When first you're looking for sabai sabai, you must think of kinda Chinatown or red district. But it's not like that. They do have a massage but they closed it when we were there. First of all, don't get confused since they have twins receptionists. (I was arguing with my husband about this 😁). But both of them are very friendly and helpful. They also can talk English well. For you who like a unique place to stay and don't mind to take many different kind of public transportation around bangkok, this is the great place for you. You just mention your destination for the day and the receptionist will give different alternatives of transportation according to your preference. They also have your book in each room so you can plan which place you want to go the night before or in the morning. One of the thing that I will never forget of sabai sabai is its banana smoothies that were made every morning for breakfast fresh when we arrive in the restaurant. 😋
The advertised web price is more, but they accepted an offer. Always worth a try with the smaller hotels. It is a little off the main street, but in a good location to access transport and cheap meals. The rooms are comfortable, but the air conditioner was a little small for the room size and it took a long time to cool the room. The TV channels are primarily Thai, and there is not many choices of interest to ExPats. Beer is the average price, no draft, only bottles. Meals are OK if you like Thai food, so the selection for breakfast is limited. Mainly fruit...
The hotel is a boutique style hotel with great location in the middle of Bangkok. The staff were really friendly, rooms cleaned daily however the breakfast was average. Would stay here again if your looking for a decent hotel on a budget
I scored this hotel 9 points, super nice staff, nice room, comfortable, quiet. But the building are dull and old. And the location are little quiet but safety to walk to the busy street. 1 thing is not good is just the surrounding area are too quiet although is very safe but you might have a little scary feeling. I fully recommend this hotel, super good price and super nice staff, everything very good. Thank you
Staff is very humble, friendly and always eager to help. Delicious breakfast buffet to refresh your morning. My room was cleaned everyday, air conditioning was good, bathroom was clean, fresh towels everyday. Overall, everything was perfect, would love to visit again.
We stayed in this hotel for 2-3 days. Its a good hotel and both the management and staff are very friendly and co-operative. The drawback in this hotel is its far from anywhere. The nearest BTS skytrain station is 5-6 Km away and you would need a taxi or a tuk-tuk to reach. They do have a facility to drop us in the station one way so that helps but while coming back, you are still on your own. Even the complimentary breakfast is not up to the mark for vegetarians. I wouldn't recommend this hotel for tourists but for business travelers or people who are frequent travelers to Bangkok, this is not a bad option if its ok with commutation. This hotel is just 1/2 hour drive away from Swarnabhumi airport.
This is our third visit to this hotel. And i have to say that our first stay was fantastic. However as we decide to stay at this one place the quality of the hotel is getting worst. This time we got the room number 405 the theme of declaration was nice but there were no toilet papers, no shower curtain, the hot water doesn't consistently comes on. And the couch is disgusting dirty. The telephone doesnt work. No tooth paste. The blanket was small. I think this hotel needs an improvement on managing big time.
We stayed here for more than a week in a vintage suite. The suite was perfect with an own garden. The staff was friendly, helpful and the best you can ever have. But because the staff was understaffed by the management, things went wrong. The hotel claims to have a spa, but every time I wanted a Thai massage there was nobody there, because the same staff does de cooking or cleaning. The resort is nice, but a bit for away from nice restaurants and shopping, but if you want peacefulness it's perfect. Also that we had to pay before we left was weird, because the booking was through booking.com. Will we come here again? I don't know. But I really want to thank Jew(driver, cleaner) and Thean(cooking, massage(that I didn't take) and dishwassing).
For the past 6 days in Sabai Sabai hotel, we experienced the warm welcome from the owner and staffs. They are kind and helpful to everyone. Free shuttle van service to either the nearest BTS or the city. The breakfast was provided and the menu was different for everyday plus they're all very delicious!!!! The hotel service is definitely the best i have ever experienced.
