We two friends had met at 22nd floor cafe.Ambiance is very good & outside View is also very good. We had only coffee & juice, we kept on discussions enjoying drinks & view from top. One of the best place but little bit not famous
We booked the Duplex Suite corner room. It was very spacious. However, the hotel was in the midst of renovations which started at 0900 and could be heard throughout the hotel. Not crazy loud, but pervasive enough to wake you and prevent you from falling back to sleep. With that being said, the staff was very attentive in working out an alternative arrangement for us. The location is ideal as there are a number of local shops and restaurants close by. Additionally, the mall is a short 8m walk around the corner which is very convenient. I highly recommend S31l - just call in advance to see if they have completed the renovations.
I believe that I'm easy going person but the experiences I have with this hotel is terrible. My husband came for business trip so the room was booked for 1pax and prepaid. By the way I had called hotel directly the week before arrival to confirm that I will come with him and the 2nd pax will be charged on pax'account upon the check out. The reservation agent made it clear 350bath/night for me and I was fine so I asked to add me on the room. We arrived at 1am and found out that the booking was not changed so I must wait the morning to have someone solve it out for me. After explaining again, wait them to find person in charge bla bla. I finally can stay. But the stay was so annoying with the leaked sink (I'm pregnant and imagine how dangerous it was), internet doesn't work, housekeeping clean my bathrope but didnt give me a new one (must call them twice to get back). And for once when I was sleeping-naked he get in to make up the room??( they dont have door bell so knocking at the door is useless if you are in good sleep). Also after they fixed the leak in my bathroom, I was slipped away as she didnt dry the floor. Even their pillow cover is dirty. For God Sake what training they gave to her? Breakfast is very so so there with unfriendly staff. We had stayed 1 week and I never saw a smile on their face especialy staff in kitchen area (where they make eggs and sushi with naked hand). They really make me feel as I was annoying them by having breakfast there. The fat tanned girl who cook eggs there even didnt notice that the door she opened could have slapped on my face if I was not carefull about her careless. Unlucky we are, because of the job my husband need to extend his stay. So his company booked another reservation and we went to see receptionist right away to ensure they understand that my husband will stay more but me, so they dont charge us the 2nd pax for this new stay. Such a joke at that time we figured out that they still have no idea that I was in the room with my husband. So again need to explain the situation, discuss again about the price which is agreed between us and hotel by the other times. I dont understand how their system work? It was just a small change and I have had seen them 3 times to hear that they understood but actually they did not. When I asked them to settle my bill in advance (incl 2nd pax, laundry and room servicd) so that I can prepare cash and have quick c/o to go to airport (we wanted to clear all the expense bcs room charge was already paid) they told me that I will need to pay 1 night only for 2nd pax at 1200bath.(??!) Ok I was too honest, should not say anything and just paid them that number except 350bath×6 nights. But I can not trust them any more. Each time you talk to them you will have a different answer. Maybe they just gave you any wrong number and then charge you again. And I was right! They wanted to charge me 1200bath for last night (compare with 350bath they told me at the beginning). The rest they would charge my husband again after. Come on, those people are sucked at reception. No communication or handover between staff? Everyday we need to explain them the same issue and they still dont notice it. I really dont understand how can they be that helpless and terrible. And they call themselves 5 star hotel. Honestly I have found better service and smarter staff in a 2star hotel in Vietnam. Their english is terrible. It's very hard to have them understand you. And you need to be careful, ask them write down anything they agree with you or else they will change it after. Staff at the S cafe are not friendly, even when I had stayed for 1 week every morning they still look at me as a stranger trying to sneak in. If you have problem in your room, you need to call and ask them to fix it right away or they will let it go or ignore it. Internet is super slow and get lost if it rain. Food is bad and you dont have much choices for breakfast.Swimming pool is just in front of reception and look like a yard for kids to play more than a place where you can relax. They dont have doorbell so be carefull if you take a shower or sleeping. The only thing made me happy here is a small massage chair in their business lounge that I can rest after long day of working. My advice : with that budget you should go for a better place. If you dont have choice, try to have short visit bcs long stay is not a smart call at this hotel.
I’m impressed with the hotel and level of service I want to share my experience in details Location Hotel is in Sukhumvit road average 40 minutes’ drive from the airport, 5 minutes’ walk to nearest sky train. Rooms: I booked the Duplex suite Rooms are clean, spacious, equipped with modern furniture with all required amenities including huge safe box, 2 LCD’s one in the living area downstairs and another one in the bedroom upstairs. Minibar, sound system, and tea & coffee facilities (replenished daily). Food and Beverage: Breakfast is plentiful with a wide variety of hot and cold items all fresh. Pools: Outdoor pool on the lobby level is great for relaxation area around the pool is not always sunny (additive). Spa and Wellness: The spa is well equipped with great facilities including an Sauna, steam rooms which were never busy Wide range of treatments from professional staff. Staff: The staff are always attentive to your requests and always smiling ave no efforts to make you satisfied. Thanks s 31

It's my second time to come and have lunch at this hotel , everything it's good, the lunch was good lots of choices at very reasonable price plus 3 people paying and the 4th it's free! It's just hard to reach as of the heavy traffic but once you inside can rest and eat a good buffet
Travelled with work to Bangkok, and was booked into the S31 both to stay and also to run a workshop. Staff unfailingly polite, and helpful as far our knowledge of mutual understanding could take us. I had a duplex apartment, which was very well equipped, clean, modern and with a comfortable bed and good shower. Have read other comments, and I disagree - I thought the breakfast was really good with a decent choice. Lunch was also good. Ate first night in Floor 22 restaurant; food not particularly exciting in terms of choice, but good quality/value and well cooked. I agree with the wifi comments - annoying rather than a nightmare. My one small gripe - air con in gym was a bit crap, and only one running machine. First-world problem I know. Would recommend.
This hotel is a good base as it is very close to two BTS ( Skytrain ) stations so you can easily access many areas and shopping malls in the city. The staff were polite and helpful, the room was fine with an enormous bed and the food at the restaurant on the twenty second floor was reasonably priced. If you have the scallops beware if you have a large appetite because you only get four with very little to accompany them. We were given a number of vouchers on arrival which gave us a free beer at the bar near reception and also we were able to partake of the afternoon tea that was available. A good hotel in a good spot.
If you like construction noise you won't be disappointed. The internet keeps cutting out and then you have to log in again, except it doesn't tell you that. It simply says you are not connected to the internet. Then you have to turn off and on the connection and log in again, or call reception for a new passport. Also, kitchen has only one plate and one bowl, no forks or knives, no hot water boiler. There is no scale, no ironing board or iron. For $125 per night for the suite, that's a little hard to take.
- Free WiFi in rooms and public areas
- Free parking
- Onsite dining
