Not entirely the experience I was expecting to have. The hotel is labeled as a 5 star. Some features ring true to that assessment, but others quite frankly don’t. I have stayed in several other 5 stars in Bkk and this one by far is the less luxurious. First off, the room was nice, very clean, but tiny. You could barely walk past the bed and the tv. The layout has a weird design. The sink is in the room -white little to no space for anything at all. The washcloth was neatly folded but then when you use it you have to put it on the bed, as there is no space available near the sink. Also, there is no outlet by the sink: if you need to use the air dryer you have to unplug the coffee machine and dry your hair blind. There was a night stand lamp, but it was unplugged. There is only one plug by the night stand, it is either the phone charger or the lamp. When I tried to plug the lamp in, the outlet was loose so it would not hold. The pool area is nice. The fitness center needs some supervising.The equipment would be nice, if it were kept in good shape. Out of the two treadmills, only one worked. The elliptical machines both squeaked and the one I used was broken (didn’t register the change in levels).
I used the bar - no information it’s floor was available in the room information booklet. I had to go to the restaurant and ask. Opening hours are vague: I found it open at 5 on Friday, but it was closed shut at 6.30 pm on Saturday.
At check out they had me wait until room was checked.
