Great location and we felt safe. Walking distance to several temples. Staff members very courteous and helpful.

Excellent hotel! Gracious and attentive staff - went FAR beyond their charter to accommodate me! Due to an unexpected street closure around the hotel, the hotel staff instructed my driver to take me to a ferry depot down river from the hotel and then sent a longboat to pick me up and bring me to the hotel dock! Amazing level of service that I shall not forget. On my next trip to Bangkok, I would not think of staying at another property. Very convenient to the major attractions in Bangkok.

Great hotel Great location right on the river in the old part of Bangkok

The view was worth the price and traffic. Rooms are small but comfortable and very interesting configuration. Waking up to the view was the high point but the customer service was also excellent. Minor problem with the faucet was fixed while site seeing and the breakfast was very good. The only detriment to this place is the traffic and location, while great for the view keep in mind getting to the east side of the city may be quicker to walk an hour than drive/cab. Train doesn’t come out to this location and Tuk Tuks are sauspect and also have traffic. Overall if your coming to this part of the city-stay here.

Excellent customer service extended to us by Film And Plummy. The company can be proud of them. Keep up the good work. Room 205 5/19-22/17.

Visited Bangkok with friends and family, and Riva Arun was a major reason we had such a wonderful trip. The staff is so helpful and caring. The location is spectacular--across the river from Wat Arun, steps from Wat Pho, and a few minutes' walk from the Grand Palace in one direction or the Flower Market in the other. The rooms were spotless, and pleasant. Staff were helpful and smiling--they called to make reservations or to confirm that sites were open. We never had a serious problem, but I am confident that the staff would have been supportive in helping us. The river view was captivating, we found ourselves relaxing as we watched the many varieties of boat traffic--just mesmerizing. There's a tiny pier at the end of the street, and it's a great place to watch the sun set behind Wat Arun. We ate in the hotel's restaurant on the roof several times, and not just because the panoramic view is breathtaking. The only 'problem' we encountered was trying to direct taxis or tuk-tuks to the hotel, so we eventually settled on just asking to go to Wat Pho, and walking the couple of streets to the hotel. I cannot imagine any other hotel would have made our visit to Bangkok so special. In the midst of a huge, densely populated city, this was our peaceful home.

We enjoyed being in the "old city" exploring the antiquities and the culture. The hotel staff were helpful and friendly.

Loving and dedicated staff Nice view on river.hotel clean but room a bit too small but can manage.dinner prices a bit expensive.tuktuk bus and taxis readily available near hotel as well as good places for eating plus places for massage by professionals

Really nice, clean room. Very small room though and loud AC. Great view in rooftop Bar.
