One of the best places to stay in Bangkok though far away from market but still the hotel property is fun to be in .Kids really enjoyed Pool and ambience of the hotel They have a specific kid area to play for little kids . Overall a great experience
Great hotell by the river side. The rooms are spacious and nice, thou a litte worn down. Still, it was clean and the view was fantastic! The staff was very nice and always helpful. The staff even surprised me with a cake in my room on my birthday! Which was very much appreciated :) Easy to get to and from the hotel and the sights in Bangkok. A free boat provided by the hotel will bring you to the skytrain and ferryboats. The pool area was a nice oasis in a busy city, but often experienced it to be difficult to find an available sun bed. The hotel spa was of high quality and recommended. Overall, we loved our stay here and would absolutely come back!
Great hotel, clean comfortable and very hospitable. Free shuttle boat to main central pier or sky train doesn't take too long either! The concierges also help with taxi's information as well and go for the breakfast as it is very varied and does set you up for a long day of sight seeing! Definitely recommend staying here!
If you're in Bangkok for a luxurious and relaxing time, Ramada is one of the best options. Away from the city centre but still close to all the important destinations in Bangkok, with a big Riverfront shopping centre - Asiatic, right next to the hotel, it's a great hotel. Make sure you take the riverside view of the hotel rooms. The staff is extremely helpful and caters to all your needs! (as long as they're reasonable of course)
The location is excellent, unless you crave the Bangkok night life. Then you're in for a few taxi or tuc tuc challenges. The rooms and beds are excellent, the views from the upper stories magnificent, the morning buffet is fine (live dangerously - try sushi or spicy noodles for breakfast!), the staff is attentive and excellent, and the service is above reproach. Then again, Ramada Plaza Bangkok Menam Riverside Hotel is a 5 star upper middle end hotel - so for the price, "everything as it should be" should really only give 4½ stars. The last half star I dedicate to the two mature pool boys, Kelly the concierge, and most especially the restaurant supervisor Waranya - if you could buy service above and beyond the call of duty, offered with a warm smile in a box, it would be Waranya's picture on that box. We spent five nights at the hotel before heading South - and we will return for the last night before our flight home in two weeks time. We are looking forward to that. We absolutely recommend.
I have stayed at the Ramada Plaza Bangkok Menam Riverside Hotel on several occasions over the last two years on my visits from the UK. It is my opinion that this hotel exceeds its star rating for a number of reasons. My main reason for recommending this hotel is the extremely efficient and friendly staff. From the concierge to the reception staff, from the bar and catering staff to housekeeping, boat crew to management, everyone helps make my stay so welcoming and enjoyable. They treat guests as friends and not just numbers. The rooms are fitted out with everything guests require and more: Most rooms have a beautiful river and city skyline view. Huge comfortable king size beds, bathrobes, slippers, luxury toiletries, fridge, good priced mini bar, wi-fi etc. Fantastic breakfast served alongside the river catering for Asian and International tastes. So much choice for everyone. Think there are 8 chioces for eating and drinking at this hotel as well as a lovely swimming pool with sun beds!!! Complimentary shuttle boat linking the hotel to the main hub for exploring Bangkok. It's just a 5 minute relaxing cruise to the BTS SkyTrain and Chao Phraya Express Water taxis. I would most definitely recommend the Ramada Plaza Bangkok Menam Riverside for both leisure and business guests. It's very competitively priced away from the traffic noise and in a great location. Can't wait for my next visit!!!
Bangkok is a huge, sprawling city and one of the most popular cities to visit in the world every year. If it is your first time visiting and your "to do" list is large, it might almost be too big to confine yourself to one hotel due to traffic and logistics of wanting to see many of the temples, shopping areas and other interesting sights. Bangkok traffic is bad, your two best options are making use of the sky train Metro system or, less often considered, boat taxi's and shuttles up and down the Chao Phraya river. The boating option saves time, is arguably more enjoyable and cooler cruising up and down the river and has stops at many of the main temple complexes. The one down side to staying along some sections of the river used to be that there was not much else around your hotel. For the Ramada, that all changed with the Asiatique shopping, restaurant and nightlife area easily walked to from the hotel. The convenience of having a free Ramada shuttle boat that travels back and forth up the river to connect to other water taxi's and the Sky Train make it a great choice for a visit to Bangkok with a little less stress and chaos than other centrally located hotels.
Welcoming staff. Very good breakfast overlooking the river. A free shuttle ferry was available for transport to the nearest MRT / BTS station. It was very on time.Face towels and cold water were supplied when boarding for the return to the hotel. Great view from our room. I would definitely stay there again
This is the second time we booked a hotel overlooking the Chao Phraya River, and this time, we were not disappointed. Our hotel room has great views of the river, especially at sunset. At night, the lively and colorful views of Asiatique - Riverfront is also a sight to behold. Although the property is a little bit far from the action in the city center and the old town, the hotel more than made up for it since it is only a 5-minute walk to Asiatique, where you can find lots of merchandise, and even lots of seafood and other dishes. Being in Bangkok, prices are naturally cheap, and thus, you can indulge any way you want. There are also countless massage shops along the way, where you can have soothing massages for your tired feet before you rest for the night. Staff are generally accommodating and friendly, and breakfast spread is better than most similar hotels. There are options for western, Chinese and Japanese food, and the options are not limited, thus the breakfast is really nice. Facilities are also good, with additional restaurants other than the breakfast area. There is also an outside lounge / view deck where you can spend an afternoon waiting for the sunset. One thing that I and wifey really liked is the promotion they give in their bar at night time. For 2 hours every night, drinks are buy 1 take 1, which really allowed us to have excellent night cap every time. The wait staff there were also very nice. Negatives? Maybe the old design of the hotel and the carpeting (but the size of the rooms, the amenities, and sleep comfort are very good, just to emphasize)... and maybe also the crowding in the breakfast hall (but not much, really) due to lots of tour groups checking in the hotel... but that is the normal trend in most hotels anyway :)
Good location, money for value . Good buffet. The reception manager is very friendly and professional. We are impressed that good staff can always increase the reputation of company , especially for hotel. I can remember her name also very impressive 宾馆位置不错，离asiatique很近，晚自助餐很丰盛，服务态度也不错，前台经理英语很好，记性好，能叫出客人的名字。我推荐会再来这个宾馆
