Prime Hotel Central Station Bangkok

Great location but the restaurant and bar are only open at certain times and the spa is only for massages. The 4 outdoor sun loungers face the restaurant and reception so aren't very welcoming. Surprisingly the bedroom did not have windows

right off the back as I am checking in , I believe her name is Anita. not welcoming , bad attitude. thanks to Oil the other reception, she was helpful. good location, nice hotel. close to Chinatown and public transportation.

We stayed at the Prime Central Hotel for three days at the end of our South Asian Trip. We wouldn't recommend staying in this hotel taking into account , that in Thailand for this price you can stay in lots of much better hotels ! Our stay started with the left foot. Since the airport transfer they offer is way too expensive (1400B - and an uber ride costs 470!!) we decided to get there with a taxi . But unfortunately we left our cellphone in the car. The receptionists were unlucky not as helpful with the situation as we wished - I prefer to think this happen due to the communication (language) problems, but I am pretty sure it was actually lack of common sense. The room (yes , the tell you will get a room without a window) was dark , smelly and it made you feel as if you were in a bunker . We actually tried to stay as less time possible there. Horrible feeling ! So .... our recommendation: in Bangkok there are lots nicer hotels in this price range ! Stay away from this one !

I decided to book this hotel twice already in two months as it was excellent in many ways. The room was spacious, the water is working very well and it flew nicely. The cleanliness and the quality of the room was above expectations, the air-con was working very nice and the view from my room was spectacular. I did not book the room with breakfast so I do not have the information of that here. But as the hotel situates so clode to the Central Railway Station of Bangkok (Hau Lam Phong Station), there are plenty of restaurants and bars around so the food is the least difficulties you will find here. It is closed to MRT (metro) station which you could travel around in Bangkok easily for just a 3-minutes walk. I could go on and on about the good thing about this place. Finally, the price was really, really cheap for a 4-star hotel sitting in the middle of Bangkok's main transit system. The service and the staffs were really helpful and welcoming. Polite and professional. For me this hotel would be my book-again hotel whenever I am visiting Bangkok. Period. The only small thing that irritated me was that the wifi internet connection was slow. But apart from that it was fabulous.

The location is very close to an MRT station making it convenient to travel to and from the main shopping areas. The hotel is nicely decorated throughout in a chinoserie style. The outdoor lounge area was nice to relax with a drink. Gym facility was somewhat limited but was clean. Room was clean and staff were polite. The room I stayed in had a lovely view facing the Hualampong train station~

We stayed at the Prime Central hotel for a few days in Bangkok before heading to the islands. I was a bit worried from the outside of the building, however inside was nicely decorated and modern. Staff were great and really helpful for helping us get around. Location was also good and we spent two evenings wonderi ng around China town for street food and cocktails. All in all a good stay, only slight downside for me was I thought our room smelt a bit smelt smokey.

We came a bit earlier and they were kind enough to place our luggage in a secure location till we checked in as we had to go out for shopping all day. They have a great gym if you dont want to lose shape after eating out everyday. They also offered 200 BHT per person vouchers for their spa. They also had a great outside place to sit on. The view from the room was amazing, especially at night. their room service was good too. The only annoying thing i would say was that you had to change 2 elevators to get to your room due to their security measure apparently.

Good clean hotel. Average friendly staff. The entrance is difficult to find as you first have to go up a lift and through a passage way and then you find the reception. The rooms are ok but definitely not 5 star. Location is great as you can access Chinatown within walking distance and city centre within 20 min car drive. The central train station is also very nearby including supermarkets and restaurants in all directions. Room was quiet and clean (smelt like bleach in the beginning but I guess one cant be too clean). Only critic - room hallways smell very damp as if it recently flooded but you only spend a few seconds tops within them. Would definitely visit again.

Our travel agent booked this hotel for our short stay in Bangkok (we did not opt for it ourselves). Check in went flawless and our room was available at 8AM whilst check in normally starts at 2PM (very convenient after being flown into Bangkok at 7AM). The staff of the hotel are very friendly and try to help with anything you’d need. There is a tourist desk with lots of guided tours but we did not use this service as our travel agent arranged this for us. The room (we stayed in room 1025) is spacious and has a good bed. We had a view of Lamphong station, albeit that the mattress is rather hard. The shower was big (great for tall people like us) and the complimentary water was restocked daily. We were offered a welcome drink on the first day which was nice. Dinner in the Chinese restaurant was good as well. I would recommend the dim sum. Breakfast was a great mix between Thai and European. The French toast was amazing. As we had to check-out early to leave for our flight we were offered a take away breakfast box. The location of this hotel is superb. Chinatown is just around the corner as well as the golden Buddha temple. All major sights are pretty much within walking distance. The train and metro stations across the road are a nice thing to have as well. There is a 7/11 on the corner of the hotel. If you forgot something or want a quick snack / drink, it is always open and they literally have everything you’d look for. I would definitely recommend this hotel to any travelers here in Bangkok.

"Worst experience for this hotel. We booked through an agent, no mention whatsoever of windowless room. On arrival the reception informed us the room has no window. Fully booked, therefore no possibility to upgrade it. Since we cannot stay in a room without windows, and have concerns about Health and Safety, we requested a refund. Nor the hotel or the agent wanted to give us the money back. Reception and Assistant Manager were useless. Police was phoned and tried to mediate. Reply arrived after 5 and a half HOURS staying in the reception. We finally obtained a refund from the agent. Do not book this hotel, if you want to save your holiday. "
