Great stay at this hotel. Lovely big nicely decorated, clean rooms. Nice pool for swimming and good food in restaurant. Location close to park and not far from train and city center. We found an amazing local pad Thai shop near by called Pad Thai Mae Am find it on TripAdvisor a must try!
Its a good hotel but little bit old. For The price its very good if you want to stay in this area. Walking distance to Lumpini Park and a Great breakfast With egg station, pancake station and soup station. Very quiet area, not much to do. But good for sleep.
An ideal hotel to stay for a stop over in Bangkok or a visit to the capital. it is comfortable with a very good breakfast menu. The outside of the hotel is a bit misleading, as it is situated off a side street leading to a very busy area of Bangkok, but near the underground for easy travelling. It is also very near Lumpinee Park which is a must to visit . I have stayed at the hotel around six or seven times in the past few years and never been disappointed. Very easy to get a taxi to and from the airport.
First up, use Agoda to book this as they are slightly more expensive than booking.com BUT their deal includes breakfast, which otherwise is thb300. Now the review - good location close to lumphini park and the MRT. you can travel one stop to connect to the BTS as well. the decor is pretty tired, the aircon is somewhat old and there was a type of central electronics unit which controls lights, music and tv which must have been installed in 1975. irritatingly there was no plug socket near the bed. the room i was in which was the deluxe (so the entry level accom) was 24sqm, decent size but nothing special. the views over the city were lousy and unmemorable! there is a safe box in the room. peaceful night's sleep and very comfortable bed. the atrium/foyer was very attractive with some lovely artwork on the walls. swimming pool really small but adequate for my purpose. steam room did not seem to work. no one available to ask... my biggest gripe was the very churlish nature of the desk staff who did not appear to want to engage at all. no smiles or eye contact. i requested my key having returned from a walk outside and received not a word or any human acknowledgement. bottom line it's a three star hotel, i paid thb1395 (no breakfast), for the location and standard that's probably right, though i'm no expert having only stayed at one other hotel in bangkok before. i won't stay again because of the grumpy desk staff.
This was the first place I stayed in Bangkok and I arrived late on a night that it was pouring down rain. The hotel was ok. The room had 2 twin beds because they were out of king bed rooms. The hotel was warmer than I would have expected in the hallways and when I opened the door the room was quite warm until I put the key in the slot to turn on the AC. The room cooled rather rapidly. I have to say the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel provided easy access to the MRT. I didn't eat at the restaurant but most mornings it was packed.
Had a fantastic 3 day stay here,Was extremely surprised at how good this hotel was as we paid so little to stay here. the pool & restaurant offers amazing views over Bangkok. The breakfast buffet is pretty good also,Only one disappointment was the internet was so patchy. But this is Bangkok,You shouldn't be in your room!
Great hotel that could do with a refurb. But it is a bargain price! Great location with a metro stop within 5 mins walk and some shops less than 2 mins. Breakfast is great! Lots of selection. Great pool that could do with some more sun loungers, and the gym doesn't open until 8am which is frustrating. 6am would be better. Great helpful staff!
We stayed here for two nights last month. The hotel looks a bit tired in places and the corridors near the lifts were very dark. However the room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent. Lots of choice and good quality. The bar and pool area was attractive with lovely views over the city.
We arrived at 2am and they had over booked us so upgraded us to the presidential suite for 3 nights no extra charge. Room was amazing and clean. Staff friendly during the day. Roof top Pool and gym was nice. Alright location. Lovely stay.
Good hotel, a little dated, however friendliness of staff a big plus. Location is good and managable to walk to places i wanted to go, otherwise metro station is close by. Hotel is clean and quiet. All in all a good value for money. One thing to mention, special thanks to staff member mr. Jeson who gave me good advice and for providing me all information I needed during my stay.
