Company booking this place for me since it was closed to ours HO , it quiet comfortable place and compare to the price , easy to find the foods and travel with MRT just 5 min walk but during the visit wifi and TV improperly working . Any way just for stay room condition consider good and clean , staff also helpful 😬😬😬
It was a nice trip for me within 5 days in Bangkok and Pattaya. I stayed in Pietra hotel a night and i must say that it's very convenient and modern hotel. You can also see the traffic of Bangkok through the windows. Opposite the hotel is Poseidon Center. You can also try breakfast at the hotel, i love noodles with cheese and omelet with sandwiches. Here are some photos.
We booked a one bedroom suite. The staff, that did not talk english, made us pay the suite before we even got our luggage to the room. After paying they told us the suite is in the backbuilding. The whole backbuilding was ongoing renovation. Our suite was the only room in use in the building. The room was unfinished and kind of falling apart. The balcony door broke when we tried to open it, glassdoor to the bathroom was missing a corner, and it had paint splattered on it, the baseboards where uncomplete and due to the ongoing renovation pretty much everything was covered with dust.... And the kitchen.. The website promised a fully equiped kitchen. What we got was a stove and a sink but nothing to cook with. No knives, pans, bowls anything. And the promised wfi in the room did not excist. Very disapointing visit. We changed room within an hour from checking in. We took a room in the main building that was just a simple hotelroom with a bathtub and a bed. The negative points of that room was that it was noisy (window by the mainroad) , someone had decided to play with high heels in the bathtub, the room was poorly cleened and the wifi was terribly slow. The bed was ok and the overall look of the room was ok. We did not get that any cheaper than the suite. The breakfest is an absolute nono in this hotel. Even if you get it cheap, its not worth it. The location close to bts station We were supposed to stay for tre nights but left after one. Got refunded for the days we did not stay. The staff did understand our complaints and seemed apologetic the day we left.
I called the hotel directly to book a suite 5 days prior to the check in. The hotel staff acknowledged the booking. When i arrived the hotel in the morning, the front officer told me that i had to come back again in the afternoon. When i came back at 5pm, he said no more suite available so i have to get a superior room instead. The hotel manager is never be there. A few hundred baht discount was offered from him with not a single apology. Room: Modern decoration. Dark and foul-smelling. One light bulb at the door was not working and the staff said there's no new bulb to replace on that day. Breakfast: Poor quality, quantity, and taste Will not come back again ever..
Was offered a non-smoking room, but cigarette butts were found in the balcony. the ceiling in the shower was damp and mouldy. Saw cockroaches roaming in the room one morning. Buffet breakfast was sad!
We stayed here for 4 nights after visiting Phuket. We took the Airport Rail and MRT to the hotel from Suvarnabhumi airport and it was extremely simple to get too. The hotel is located just a 2 minute walk from the MRT Huay Kwang station (Exit Gate 2 and hang left). The lobby was luxurious and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was located on the 8nd floor and had a nice view of the city. The room was spacious, clean and quiet. The bathroom was also a good size with a separate shower and tub combo. Bed and pillows were super comfy and plush. Specially Bell man was the best service well.
Upon walk in booking this hotel, I was afraid of the noise as this is situated right in the middle of Bangkok, Business. The are very helpful and very friendly specially Bell man was insingtive service nothing too much trouble for them. Room cleaned every day.
Near Sutthisan MRT station, the hotel is small but quiet and neat. Reasonably priced, I paid 2200Baht for a suite room. MacDonald's is across the road but not much else. However, with proximity of MRT, you can go anywhere. Breakfast is very simple though. Service was reasonable. Only reason I stayed there was because it was walking distance to my company office.
Do you want to see and experience what 2000 smoking Chinese / Russians can do with 15 year old furniture, now is your chance. Rooms are large, centrally located, good ac, hot water takes time, breakfast worthless. However, about 150 m to a German resturant that is really good also breakfast for 160 baht, go out to the right.
I booked online for my bkk trip on the 6th to 10th. 1 of many reasons for choosing this hotel is the "AirPort Transfer Service" they provide. After my booking was confirmed, I email to request for airport service, no reply from them for 5 days, no choice but to make an overseas call to Bangkok and spoke to the staff personally. Initially, the staff said she will email me to request for my flights info etc. After an hour, I received email stating that due to some problem, they wont provide airport service. WTH..??
