We had a layover in Bangkok and decided to stay here as we had been here once ~ 2 years ago due to the convenient location, comfortable room with friendly staff. It was a birthday trip and they gave a little cake to celebrate, which was nice. The only complaint was that we asked for non-feather pillows and comforter both online and when we checked in, but there were down pillows and comforters, which had to be removed once we checked into the room. AC temperature was hard to get right...it was either too cold (without cotton comforter) or too hot.

Overpriced rooms do not travel on high season. Do not recommend traveling during high season New Year's rooms to expensive and not worth the stay for the price you pay for the room not worth it. The rooms are OK. I like the rooms from Circus Circus Las Vegas. It is worth staying there when it’s not high season the rooms are cheap and it is worth staying there. Great location. Everything‘s nearby. Will stay there because of that reason, there’s a great restaurant across the street from the hotel recommend eating there.

The room was just barely acceptable. Multiple power outlets were dead and needed to be replaced. Our phone chargers just fell out of them even though they were multi country outlets. The TV was a total disaster. Many channels said weak signal. Or they had a translucent overlay on some other channels so you really couldn't see the tv channel itself.. Breakfast was exceptionally underwhelming. The two coffee machines were great.but the best selection was highly limited and each day it was somewhat stale.

The hotel is acceptable, but you can do a lot better in Bangkok. Even the Soi itself is narrow and crowded. The hotel rooms are small. The breakfast is again acceptable, but has very limited options. The gym, again is acceptable, but has only three machines. If acceptable is OK, then this Park Plaza is OK but doesn't compare at all to other Park Plaza properties.
