We stayed 9 nights in early February in a Grand Suite. There was nothing grand about it. The room was very spacious but poorly furnished with the sofa firm but not terribly comfortable. The small kitchenette was stocked with very worn and basic cooking utensils. There appeared to be no difference between the Grand Suite and the cheaper Deluxe. The pool was nice as it was in the shade but towels seemed to be a bit hard to come by. The front of house staff are very friendly and welcoming. The location is a bit out of the way, but not too bad if you don't mind a 10 minute walk. Overall for the price of $90 AUD a night not too bad but we would look at other options next time.

Spent a week in Bangkok with 2 others for holidays - very handy staying at Pantip Suites as we could all have separate sleeping arrangements and the best part was being able to make our own italian style coffee in the kitchenette! The suites could do with a little upgrade and freshening up but in a way that was also part of its charm. Great breakfast and good restaurant with lots of small local restaurants nearby

I've loved staying here for many years however my previous stay will be my last. My issue is not with the staff or facilities, these remain excellent, it's with the standard of the rooms. Yes they are huge and excellent value and Ive recommended them over the years however something has changed and there is no care anymore with presentation. Firstly there are 2 types of rooms, Deluxe Suite and Grand Suite. I've stayed in both. The Deluxe Suite is their standard and is carpeted throughout and are looking tired, but are comfortable. The Grand Suites however are an attempt to update but they haven't gone far enough. The Grand Suites vary in standard from room to room that the difference may only be the removal of the carpet. Everything else is the same. I've also stayed in Grand Suite which had been renovated throughout and was excellent. It's hit and miss and by booking a Grand Suite does not guarantee you a nice upgrade at all. Services that have become poor include sheets and bedding only being changed every 4 days, even when soiled. Lack of glassware, dirty glassware, filthy windows and sliding doors, light bulbs not changed when not working, failure to collect laundry even after 3 calls to reception and laundry. Several power outlets not working. Presentation of the rooms, there are many hanging pictures which are faded but suit the style but every picture hanging on a slant surely can't be missed by staff. Yes a minor issue but it's been like this for years. Showers are mouldy, wardrobe doors don't slide. I've stayed in the best Grand Suite and have now stayed in the worst Grand Suite. Same price and the difference is unacceptable. By removing the carpet and placing down cheap floor boards does not make a room another standard. The complete inconsistency with room standards has made me choose elsewhere in future, even at a higher cost. Pantip you have lost my loyalty.

Good price and good location There is a swimming pool, gym, huge room about 80 sq meters and all the room has a balcony. The room has poorly furniture, but are cleaned The staff is kind, and breakfast quite good

The place is far from the nearest BTS station. It took me 15 minutes by motorbike. The place is very calm and quiet. The pool is small It is not the place for people who come and go in the hotel. I had this experience because it could taken me too much time.

As for me I think it is old and classy!!! Great to stay. Staff are friendly.... my sister and I have really great time spending holiday there. They have nice swimming pool and nice service. If you like old and classy then this is it.

Spacious and well designed room. Good air conditioning. Clean room and comfortable living room. Great location for travel around and shopping. Few km away from main streets like silom, sukumvit, pathumwan. Pool and restaurant need some improvement.

luxury apartment for medium price. good service. nice garden in shadow. swimming pool, fitness club with sauna and steam bath. first time i see mobile phone in room with full inernet conexion and free local calls. short walking distance to metro, shops and restaurants.

I really can’t say enough about this hotel to do it justice. For way less than $100 (Australian) a night, including a great buffet breakfast I don’t think this can be beaten for value. Especially when staying over the New Year period. We had a huge room on the 23rd floor, a balcony overlooking Bangkok, a huge and seperate bedroom and a kitchenette. The wifi was always good, the staff very friendly and helpful and we are close to Lumphini Park, The Pat Pong Markets and Lumpini Underground Station. There are several, 7/11’s within a short walk, an excellent restaurant (Vincent’s) across the road and an in-house gym and pool. This was our fourth visit and will gladly stay again on our next visit to Bangkok.

I used to live in the neighborhood 20 plus years ago, and back then this establishment was new and very modern. I just wanted to check out how it is now and booked for 5 nights. Room is very huge as everybody else says and clean except for bathroom and kitchen area. Mildew on tile grout and shower curtain everywhere. Pictures hang on the walls are faded big time. Windows in the hallway seem not have been cleaned for a long time. In the morning, you will probably be awakened by somewhat high pitched sound peacock in the neighborhood makes , starting from around 5 o’clock. However, hotel staff are very friendly and they try to help when you need something. It is hard to walk around the hotel neighborhood because of narrow or no sidewalks. Restaurant in the hotel is okay, but we chose not to eat there after trying it once. Hotel does provide two bottles of drinking water, powdered coffee/sugar/creamer. The kitchen is adequately equipped with cooking utensils, stove, microwave, and refrigerator. I don’t think I will be back here again, but considering the price, it was good value for money.
