The place is far from the nearest BTS station. It took me 15 minutes by motorbike. The place is very calm and quiet. The pool is small It is not the place for people who come and go in the hotel. I had this experience because it could taken me too much time.

As for me I think it is old and classy!!! Great to stay. Staff are friendly.... my sister and I have really great time spending holiday there. They have nice swimming pool and nice service. If you like old and classy then this is it.

Spacious and well designed room. Good air conditioning. Clean room and comfortable living room. Great location for travel around and shopping. Few km away from main streets like silom, sukumvit, pathumwan. Pool and restaurant need some improvement.

luxury apartment for medium price. good service. nice garden in shadow. swimming pool, fitness club with sauna and steam bath. first time i see mobile phone in room with full inernet conexion and free local calls. short walking distance to metro, shops and restaurants.

I really can’t say enough about this hotel to do it justice. For way less than $100 (Australian) a night, including a great buffet breakfast I don’t think this can be beaten for value. Especially when staying over the New Year period. We had a huge room on the 23rd floor, a balcony overlooking Bangkok, a huge and seperate bedroom and a kitchenette. The wifi was always good, the staff very friendly and helpful and we are close to Lumphini Park, The Pat Pong Markets and Lumpini Underground Station. There are several, 7/11’s within a short walk, an excellent restaurant (Vincent’s) across the road and an in-house gym and pool. This was our fourth visit and will gladly stay again on our next visit to Bangkok.

I used to live in the neighborhood 20 plus years ago, and back then this establishment was new and very modern. I just wanted to check out how it is now and booked for 5 nights. Room is very huge as everybody else says and clean except for bathroom and kitchen area. Mildew on tile grout and shower curtain everywhere. Pictures hang on the walls are faded big time. Windows in the hallway seem not have been cleaned for a long time. In the morning, you will probably be awakened by somewhat high pitched sound peacock in the neighborhood makes , starting from around 5 o’clock. However, hotel staff are very friendly and they try to help when you need something. It is hard to walk around the hotel neighborhood because of narrow or no sidewalks. Restaurant in the hotel is okay, but we chose not to eat there after trying it once. Hotel does provide two bottles of drinking water, powdered coffee/sugar/creamer. The kitchen is adequately equipped with cooking utensils, stove, microwave, and refrigerator. I don’t think I will be back here again, but considering the price, it was good value for money.

We always stay at Pantip Suites when we come to Bangkok. The staff know us and are very friendly. This time we booked a two room apartment. It was very spacious and both rooms had ensuites. The staff are really helpful and it is easy to get around from there. The breakfast is pretty good and it has a lovely garden. The restaurant has updated their menu to include many middle eastern dishes and what we ordered was delicious. We will always come back.

Good hotel with huge and spacious rooms and bed. The view is spectacular from hight floors. But this building makes a deep shadow over the swimming pool. Quiet location close to the few diplomatic missions. And most famous gay sauna Babylon.

As with the other reviews, Pantip Suites needs an upgrade. Reception is helpful and friendly but housekeeping a bit tardy. The bedroom TV didnt work and the main TV is spotty. But if u have a family of 4 or more and struggling to get decent accommodation in Bangkok for a few days, this would be ideal. We had 2 large rooms, a huge lounge, 3 toilets. There are 2 tubs and the beds are super size and can sleep 3 comfortably. So if you are going to be out all day and want to return to some space to rest and soak in a tub, this is the place. The Lumpini MRT is 5 minutes away. So thats hand to get around. The positives outweigh the negatives.

Returning to the PanTip Suites is like putting on your most favorite slippers. We have stayed here at least once a year for the last decade spending from a few days to a couple of weeks each time. The views are fantastic, the neighborhood quiet and it offers several moderately priced good restaurants. Walking can be challenging but inexpensive taxi service is avaialable for those who do not want to meet the challenge. On this trip we inadvertently miscalculated our time of arrival and had not booked a room for the late evening we got here but the efficient and very friendly staff were able to accomodate us for this one night without a problem. We had booked a “Grand Suite” at an added expense because we were celebrating a special birthday. As it turned out the room was disappointing and not quite what we expected BUT the situation was easily remedied by the same efficient staff behind the desk at reception with a “No problem Sir, let us see what we can do.” Fortunately another room was available and we are totally happy to report it has been redecorated and lovely and we are going to enjoy the rest of our time in this suite. The Staff at the Pantip is why we want to keep returning, they make you feel like you are important and appreciated. The rooms are a wonderful value and they are huge. Slowly the hotel is making improvements to repaint, put in new flooring and draperies and refresh the hotel. I hope this work continues.
