This is a perfectly fine guest house that is reasonably priced for the area. It's great being near the river and slightly away from the more crowded areas of the city. Be sure to make use of the river taxi nearby and the abundant foot massage options just a block away. The breakfast is fine as well. Overall a good choice.
The hotel was really close to all of the sights that I wanted to see, I walked to the Grand Palace and Wat Arun. The pool was very nice and the restaurant overlooks the river. The restaurant and cocktails are delicious! The only thing a little annoying were little ants in the room, but they were small and I just didn't leave food out. Besides that the room was comfortable and spacious! The staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay here again for sure!
We were very pleased with out one night stay here when we came into the city from our cruise ship. Great breakfast. Lovely view of the river. We wished we had made time to take a cruise on the river..the boats were nearby. We highly encourage visitors to take in the Siam Niramit Show...tour a lovely site, enjoy dinner too, then watch a wonderful performance in a grand auditorium.
I spent 5 days at this hotel back in April/2016. So I decided to book it again in 1/20/18. Booked 5 days at $44.40/ night.. decided to stay two more days and was charged the Walk off the street rate at $86.00/ night.. I plan on spending more time in BKK beings my fiance lives there. But I will not be staying at the new Siam Riverside..
Good pool, far from sex tourism areas. Staff is very accomodating. Nice view of the river and excellent breakfast, as well as bar next to pool.
The room was clean but a bit dark on an inner courtyard. This made it quiet at night which was appreciated. Bed super firm but great for my taste. The bathroom is tiny which might be an issue for some. Nice touches like tea and cups, water bottles and in-room safe. Breakfast on the outdoor patio was wonderful and the swimming pool was nicer than expected and so lovely after a hot Bangkok day. The location on the river was perfect. For the price this hotel cannot be beat.
