The price and the location had always been the selling point of Nantra. But, sadly, the company did not catch up to the competitions with refurbishing or some visible improvements! The chipped and discoloring wash room has not been touch up; the towels look old and tired; the pillow has very strong dampened smell too!
I stayed here September for 4 nights. My room was in the far end corner. There’s no sunlight that could enter my room. I couldn’t complain for it because I booked the Superior Room and chose not to upgrade but it could be better. My room is too small and I think it is very easy to clean. The trash (it was there since I checked in) from behind the toilet flush wasn’t removed until I did it myself. The towels were not changed and I have to ask them to give me new towels. Don’t expect a lot with the breakfast. It’s just bread, butter, jams, cereals, milk, coffee, tea, and some fruits. That’s it. Receptionist were great. Location is perfect, it’s near the train station so if you wanna go around the city you could just take the train. It’s also near some night markets and some malls.
The arrogance and rudeness of the (female) receptionist was astonishing. No welcome, no hello, only three words barked at me as soon as I identified myself: PASSPORT, x BAHT, and a form to fill out was literally shoved in my face without an additional word of explanation. I still wonder what I did wrong in my previous life that the gods put me in this hotel. Clean is a word that is not in their dictionary: curtains underneath AC pitch black 'cause filters most likely never replaced; mould and grime in the corners of the bathroom and sink. The towels and bedsheets were long time ago - when the animals still could speak - white. Now there have an undetermined colour. One piece of advice, read all comments on this hotel and don't fall in the trap of a good location. There are certainly better hotels, with friendlier and more helpful staff in the same neighbourhood.
Avoid this hotel. very small room. not clean enough. arrogant staff. breakfast is just bread butter jam fruit and tea/ coffee. just not meant for families. better hotels in vicinity. wifi and AC were good. Avoid.
This 3 star Hotel located next to Silom area, is close to the main night market of Silom, the Skytrain (Sala Daeng), plenty of restaurants, bars, clubs and entertainment venues. It offers good prices for single, double rooms including WIFI and Free Continental breakfast.
This hotel located at Silom road. It is very convenient for its location between two BTS station. There are night markets and pub and massage near Sala Daeng station also a hospital just next lane of hotel. For exchange, there is a superrich near Chong Nonsi station. Really good price in Silom such a crowding place.
Nice hotel with cheap price and you got breakfast (bread, sereal, milk & juice). Great location, near Sala Daeng bts station (10 minutes walk) There is a room for 1 person, although the room is very small.
Asked for the sheets to be changed after first night. For price was Ok . Handy to NZ Visa Application center and International Org.for Migration. Breakfast Was cereals, toast ,jam and Instant coffee. A bit different to what we had been having. Air con was a bit noisy but i guess I am just used to very quiet surrounds for sleeping. Was a place to sleep and walking distance from train and all the places we had to visit. Bk. Christian Hospital just down the road and they have a good food court if you want something to eat.
I stayed here for 5 nights but room so dirty and bad smell. I told staff to change room but they said all full. And I had to stay 5 night and I paid 800/night I told staff again they being ozone machine to my room to make smell night
I stayed here for 2 nights in April 2017 traveling alone . As a regular visitor to Silom, I know the area extremely well and love the location of this hotel . However , Upon arrival at 12 noon , I was shouted at that I could not check in until 2pm and shown a very large sign saying "CHECK IN 2PM". I was allowed to check in at 2.15 pm and the staff were extremely rude and unfriendly . I unfortunately cannot speak Thai but it was very obvious the staff were saying lots of unpleasant things about me . I was told very loudly that if I lose room key I will be fined 1000 baht. I actually stayed in this Hotel back in 2013 and had quite the opposite experience, the staff were typical Thai , friendly , warm and welcoming . The electricity in my room was very difficult to work as the keycard reader was broken , I didn't complain as the staff were too unapproachable and I highly doubt that they would of cared . There are so many other hotels in the same area and price range that I would really not recommend that anyone choose to stay here, only as a last resort A very disappointing stay.
