Clean and spacious rooms, delicious and wide range of breakfast, very good location, nice stuff and impressive view from the pool. Also there is a 7/11 shop on the ground floor. Highly recommended. We enjoyed our stay here.
Great accomodating staff, clean and comfortable hotel. We had a great time and would like to thank kitchen staff, lounge attendant and management for catering to our dietary needs with a smile. It was just fantastic.
Stayed from Feb 6 till Feb 9. Location is indeed superb, it can be easily reached via subway (very handy when you are in Bangkok). All kind of shopping malls are around (MBK, Tokyu, SIAM Paragon etc), street food is in abundance. As for the rooms, they are spotless, breakfast choices are fairly wide, a nice balcony on the 9th floor where you can enjoy drinks after a long day. There is a swimming pool on the top floor though I have never got to use it. Service is something that stands out; very attentive and polite. Special thanks goes to Executive Assistant Manager, Ms. Nattanicha Anothai. She was always there to answer my questions, helped me with everything I needed and was very kind and patient. I would certainly recommend this place for any business traveler.
We frequent this hotel and it’s always a good stay. It’s a short walk away from Siam and MBK, minus the big crowd. Thipsamai (the famous Pad Thai) and Rajadamnern Stadium (for those who are into muay thai) are only a tuktuk ride away. You will never worry about food with 7/11 conveniently located at the ground floor, Tesco is just around the corner and a few local canteens close by. A couple of decent massage places that are open till midnight is also bonus! If you’re a nak muay like us, Fairtex, Action Zone, Windy and Twins are within the vicinity, and there are a few stores in MBK that sells gears at a decent price. Lots of nearby muay thai gym/camp options too, you never have to worry about your daily grind. The staff always ensured my room was immaculate on a daily basis and were extremely helpful on things I need or if I ever needed a hand on carrying my bags. With Mercure Bangkok Siam, it’s always hard to leave!
First of all, I am still very much like and love this hotel overall. Much better improve since my last time not much of a issue even it was a short stay. Had a lower level this time round. I still like higher floors thou. Just a small issue with my room card reading for the lift. Else not much of an issue. I will be back Nov 2018. With that, hotel should be at least 5 years or more and I hope it will be the same condition as I started in 2016. As usually i will swap to newer hotels if the hotels are 5 years or more. Would make an exception this round and try again. Hotel Staff are still providing excellent services. Kudos to them. I don't really find them if there is no issue. Only time i talk to them is when checking in and checking out. For viewers: + Nearby BTS (National Stadium) + Across MBK Mall + Convenience store and ground floor + Short walking distance to Siam Discovery/Center/Paragon
From the moment we arrived the staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. My sister and I are both allergic to wheat and gluten, for breakfast the hotel provided us with gluten free bread and mini muffins. I suggest you communicate any allergies well in advance for assurance. All staff members we’re genuinely kind. The stay was overall fantastic, pool could be a few degrees warmer and the bar could be open a bit longer (to European standards :) ).
Stayed with my family of 5 at Executive Room. Good and clean hotel. Located exactly in front of National Stadium BTS station. Have a 7eleven store and tourdesk inside hotel. Hotel don't have transfer service from airport to hotel. Advisable to book yourself. Hotel charge higher if they book for you. Forget about eating breakfast at hotel unless is on promotion. They serve practically the same menu everyday. Limited food variety. Served charred food. Extremely poor service from F&B staff. Their cleaner broke a glass which flew and hit my spouse. No one attended to her. All waiters just stand around doing nothing. They also never check around to see if anyone is hurt. Broken glass pieces on floor was also not clear up immediately. On demand to see their F&B manager, the waiter gave a bad attitude facial expression. Don't expect too much from their executive lounge service or offering as well. They don't practice the express checkout procedure even if you are Accor members. So give yourself some time to do all those procedures during check in and out. Good chambermaids and bellman service though. If you just need a place to stay near MBK this is a ok hotel to stay. Just don't expect service and be prepared for slow response time. No need get executive room, not worth your money, service not match up. For families who needs attention and extra care, I suggest you look at other option. For individual Fne traveller ok. Businessman don't bother.
Check-in was smooth. However was surprised that they asked us for a non-negotiable 4000/- Baht deposit for a 2 night stay for 2 rooms. Rooms are not very big, but tidy... mattress & pillows comfortable.. bathrooms clean but without locks. Carpets looked slightly worn-out but the BathTowels definitely require a make-over. Re-used and rewashed so many times.. I presume that the edges of all Towers are crying out for retirement !! Breakfast good but not great... did not see the 10-15 waiting that other reviews talked about.. Crowd was well managed I should say. USP of the Hotel : Definitely the Location... All malls MBK, Siam Paragon, eateries, street food, all within walking distance. Siam BTS station right outside the hotel connecting you to all of Bangkok. A 7-11 store in the building a definite plus for the hotel. Swimming pool on the top floor has a good view of the city. All in all.. a good Children friendly hotel.. Central Location.. Will stay again..( if they promise to change the Bath towels :) )
Room was clean and big with nice view on the 26th floor. the breakfast was with many choices and the service was superb. Their team downstairs that get Taxi for you are very professional and make sure that the taxi will switch the Meter. The location is the best part for shoppers – the MBK, Siam center, Siam Paragon are within 2 minutes. And the MRT (train) is just above the entrance of the hotel. We didn't had the chance to get into the pool (but we saw it and it was very nice) I truly recommend for this hotel. Very friendly and warm.
Enjoyed 4 days at this hotel and loved it. Did a Zumba class which was well taught and full of fun people no matter if you missed the moves completely. Hotel is very clean and well ran. Rooms are excellent and location is central with Subway and Markets easy walk to access. Pool is very pleasant and meals had a great variety of foods.
