We have stayed their as a couple, it is very good hotel if you consider budget. Close by all the shopping mall & cinema Hall, night life also good at nearby area, Easy accessible if you want to go anywhere
This hotel is I the middle of Sukhumvit bar and restaurant area. Walking distance to everything. Big lobby with staff who speak good English. Neutral, not too friendly but efficient. Don’t know about parking cz I didn’t have a car. Room is big , clean with silent AC. In room safe and fridge. Water is free. Big bathroom with shower. My view was no view. Parking house across the street. Breakfast is good with continental/Thai mix. included in room price. Pool is kind of strange cz you enter from 3d floor and the a stair row floors down. But nice and clean pool and sun chair. No bar so bring your own drinks. I was totally alone that night at the pool. :-) Irish pub right across the street. Asok BTS only some minutes walk away. All in all a good hotel, quite cheap with value for your money.
We are back at the Manhattan for a few nights again, and nothing has changed. Reception were only to helpful and arranged for us to get in early, thank you. The rest of front of house made our moving in easy. The rooms are quite spacious and all is provided right down to free wifi in the room. The hotel is close to the MTR and Terminal 21 Shopping Centre. So finally it is good to be back to this good hotel.
First crappy hotel in my tenure in Thailand . Trying to find a positive here. Rooms are smelly. Washrooms have broken accessories with built in half Open Toilet doors. Horrible breakfast . Super slow internet . No views anyways and a super waste of time and money. Worthwhile to pay and sleep in the train station . Ohhh yes , there is a positive... no mosquitoes in the room . Apologetic I booked here but a definite learning experience. ☹️☹️☹️☹️...Four points opposite is way better .
Hotel's location is good with Skytrain station next door, nana plaza and Soi Cowboy walkable and also is the Mall Terminal 21. Hooters is in front of the hotel. Problem areas - such a big hotel and the wi-fi dosent work secondly air-conditioning sucks , i had complained at the front desk and realised so did many others but to no good.
PLEASE REFRAIN from visiting this hotel for your stay at Bangkok. I had checked into this hotel on 30th September afternoon for a night at Bangkok, with my wife. Following are the incidents that swept me out .. 1. The lady at the front-desk was RUDE. She was arrogant in speaking to us and when we asked her about means to travel to a mall, her attitude was really DISGUSTING. 2. We arrived at the hotel at 11 AM and the check-in time was 14 PM. So, we left our luggage at the reception and went on a small hopping-round. When we were back at 14.30 and the luggage delivered to our rooms, we found that the lock of my American Tourister was BROKEN. Now, i do remember checking my luggage when i got it at DMK airport and there was no such thing. Which means that somebody at the hotel had deliberately broken it with the intention of theft, but didn't find any valuables inside, and hence left it intact, of course, with a broken lock. THIS IS SHOCKING !!! I was there for one night only and nothing was stolen, so i didn't want to raise a hue and cry in a foreign country. 3. At 01 AM in the night, i heard a knock on the door. It was a hotel bellboy along with a prostitute and they were insisting me on taking a massage. It was only when i threatened to complain to the main lobby did they go away. SEEMS LIKE THE HOTEL SPECIALISES IN PROVIDING VALUE ADDED SERVICES LIKE THESE. 4. The hotel WiFi doesn't work in the rooms. So, you have to come down to the lobby to get a separate WiFi access.
We used this hotel at the start of our holiday and the end. It was a terrible start with the room being infested, the air conditioning not working properly and the WiFi is a waste of time. Having stayed two nights here we then moved onto various locations in northern Thailand all had great WiFi, even on the Laos border. After travelling around we were dreading coming back here, it hadn't improved! The rooms were still dark and worn the towels where as old as the hotel, the carpets still fell like they where crawling, the noise from the road still blasted through the windows and the breakfast is the worst we have had in Thailand, from Loie to Chaing mai, Chaing Rai and kanchantaburi. I don't say this lightly. But if you have an option don't pick this hotel. I know people have make a living but this hotel is taking the....
I still like this hotel location is perfect, right smack in the middle of Sukhumvit with access to the Skytrain, underground and street traffic (buses, taxis etc). Rooms have changed little and starting to show their age. Staff accommodating and on the ball most times. However, major issues with the net. Hard to stay on-line/connected unless you are standing at your door or in the corridor. Bloody annoying it is too! Breakfast was also difficult as at the time of writing, bus loads of Indians were coming in and breakfast was a nightmare. Crowded, messy, no bacon was very annoying and the bread wasnt fresh but seemed to have been frozen or something! Dense, heavy and unappetising. It eas a bit of a trial to find a table and many food items werent replenished for the next guest. There was also a mix up with our room. Asked for one specific room but ended up with another. Fortunately, it worked in our favour. It is a good hotel. Great location but they have to remember, their guest list just doesnt include one national group and they really need to do something about the wireless system
Stayed in the hotel for one night while in transit to Pattaya. The hotel is dated and the rooms are in dire need of renovation. One big plus is that the hotel is located centrally to all amenities. I was disappointed with the breakfast, not a lot of selection. For one or two nights this hotel is acceptable, a longer stayed would result in disappointment.
We stayed in this Hotel for 3 days. The location of the hotel is very convenient. The front desk staffs are very polite and can speak good English. It was very smooth and comfortable stay for us. The room was bit small, but very comfortable with all necessary amenities. The buffet breakfast was mainly dominated by Thai dishes, but was good. All in all, a good value for money hotel.
