Manhattan Bangkok

The rooms are comfortable and breakfast was nice. Haven't taken much time to get checked in. The carpets in the corridors were a bit old and were on the verge of their good old days.;) The location is just off the main road . Access road is a bit smal and not much parking available in front of the hotel as it very adjacent to the road. one thing i find exceptionally good is the acceptability to the near by shopping Mall "Terminal01".

Stuff behaviour was good.Net & Clean.Breakfast was free with variety of items.Bar, BTS are very nearer. You can go anywhere with BTS which is very close to hotel. Message parlour is nearer and For BD people there are lots of Bangla restaurant is nearer.

The rooms are very basic .air condition didnt seem to cool at all .room were just decent .Nothing for vegetarians in breakfast ,only juice.the only thing i liked about this hotel is located close to metro station and malls and also indian resturants are nearby .rooms need upgradation .the check in process is very very slow and also swimming pool is also very small .overall just very average hotel.

Manhattan hotel has one big thing going for it - it is located less than a block away from Sukhumvit road, 5 minutes from Asok Station and Terminal 21 mall. And it is mostly quiet room wise Price was ok. I had higher hopes considering 3.5 * rating (which I guess was accurate some time back in the day). Otherwise, I would choose someplace else. Things to watch out for - rooms and hallways have not been updated for 2-3 decades. Rooms have a musty smell, while generally clean. Air cons are bulky and loud (and we got a notice that it needs servicing, so shut down aircon). Old rugs, who knows how much dirt is buried in them. dark hallways, room lights worn and limitted - love the routers hanging with antennas all over the place in the hallway. Overall very slow speed of the internet and limited signal especially by the desk (no wired option) Tv signal pretty bad, double picture regularly - there is basically no view - parking garage on one side, narrow street on the other. But this is Bangkok, so that is common - service, well not so much of service. Check in is very slow. All the info provided via online reservation has to be filled in on a paper card (21st century anyone)? Checkout slow too. They said I "double locked" the room, all I did is the exact same thing I did exiting, press the bathroom style button on the ONLY lock room has. took 20 minutes to verify that I did not touch the minibar (which had 2 cokes and 2 bottles of water) Concierge quoted 2 rates for airport transfer. 800 THB for "hotel taxi" and 500 thb for outside taxi. We found our own taxi and even with paying highway toll (120 thb) and it being rush hour, our total was under 300 thb -- cash exchange, even according to hotel gives you a worse rate than the shop next door (they recommended it) -- breakfast - very mediocre. Bread oily, only 1 choice of meat (chicken sausage), runny cold eggs (scrambled and fried, later not even whites were cooked). Coffee tastes like burned pot and watered down instant. Fried rice and veggies were not bad. Fruit disappeared and took forever to refill Overall, for the price and level of competition, there are better choices.

Located in the downtown area, there is a shopping center nearby, and food and beverage facilities are substantial. It is within walking distance from Sukhumvit station. The rooms are spacious, with safes and refrigerators. Breakfast is good quality and you can order egg dishes.

Please don’t go by the picture of the hotel go somewhere else any place would be better than this, moulds everywhere, Hotel is old . Staff actually doesn’t care . Arrived 1.15 mins early from the check in the room was ready but they made us wait as it was not the check in time yet which I feel doesn’t serve the purpose of hospitality. Wifi is weak requested the person to fix it and the reply was use wifi in lobby which just not acceptable. 3 years back Indians and Chinese were not even accepted in this Hotel , this was actually informed by the Hotel Staff , idk what was the point he wanted to prove. Pathetic never ever received this kind of cold service from anyone. Won’t be coming that’s for sure .

Situated just off Sukhumvit rd ,which is one of the main streets in Bangkok.the Hotel is placed in a good place for all local shops and amenities ,bars/restaurants/street food/, 5min walk to Skyrail/underground takes you all over Bangkok. The hotel itself has large spacious rooms free wifi ,its a bit dated ,but reminds me of an old colonial hotel, Staff very friendly ,and the breakfast is a buffet ,hot/cold . there is a bar in the lobby and has an ajoining restaurant , I believe there is a swimming pool also somewhere within the hotel. all in all an enjoyable stay .

Stayed here for 3 nights with friends really clean friendly hotel in superb location. The room i had was more like a suite to be honest kettle and fridge in room. Yes the wifi was slow but come on hardly a deal breaker. I will cettainly stay here again on my next visit
