We stayed here for 3 nights. We applauded for the excellent service. We were here for business trip and we were seeking assistance from the receptionists for communicating with our suppliers. They were going out their way to help us. The rooms were clean, specious and well equipped. The location is great, near Saladeng BTS station which offers you all access to many places. BTS is best transportation while traffic is very bad. Breakfast was good, small buffet and good choices. Would come back to stay here again.
If key reason to stay in Bangkok is for convenience at the right price, this is the perfect choice. Just 3 min walk from Silom BTS, and many choices of food within stone throw distance. The hotel located just behind the busy Silom Road, so it is easy to access and yet not so noisy at night. The hotel comes with a simple gym and swimming pool as well, The breakfast serve in the hotel is good, not luxurious but good for the start of the day. The hotel is little run down but still functioning.
I love this hotel. The staff is polite and nice, an epitome of Thai hospitality. From front desk to room service, from security guard to buffet attendant. The room was really nice with very nice bed, nice bathroom. Our room was upgraded to Executive from twin room, maybe due to our late arrival. We're very thankful for that. The wifi is strong in our room. Our room and bathroom were always done every time we left, towels changed daily, toiletries replenished daily. The room service is great. I'd definitely stay in this hotel next time we visit Bangkok.
Booked this hotel for location and star rating. The location was great for public transport. The hotel is by no means a 4 star. It has be renamed on the outside but internally nothing has changed. The bath was rusty. Although a non smoking room, it smelt of cigarettes. The pool was nice but needs attention to steps and broken tiles and some new sun beds wouldn't go amiss. Very disappointed with is accommodation.
The front desk and other staff that we interacted to during our stay were all nice and speaks good English. Our room was upgraded to Executive room when our twin room booking was not available, maybe due to our late arrival, at 5:00PM or so. Everything in the room was nice except for the absence of a bidet. I like everything about the hotel. The room was always cleaned, towels changed everyday as well as bottled water, soap, shampoo were replenished daily.
I arrived and was offered a smoking or non smoking room. Being a smoker, I never book a smoking room. I got used to smoking outside and keep the air clean inside. In this case I thought, let's give it a try. I found a surprisingly fresh room on floor 3. The staff is great. Many here for decades. The cleaning lady is a sweetheart. The executive rooms are indeed a little dated but with laminated floor. I have no idea about the standard rooms. I believe they have carpets and a stand up shower. The bed is comfortable with new pillows (very thick and fluffy). Nevertheless I used the old thinner ones which were in the cupboard. All a person might need is available. Safe, umbrella, bathrobes, coffee, etc. The bathroom needs a complete make over. It's worn out but clean.Taking a shower in the bathtub (with a plastic shower curtain) is not very comfortable for a tall person because the shower head is fixed. Some new chairs and new lamps in the room would make a huge difference. Breakfast is simple but sufficient. Unfortunately recent renovations were to enlarge the parking. Half of the restaurant gone as well as the possibility to step out from the restaurant to have breakfast outside. All in one a comfortable stay.
I was trying to look for my breakfast at 10:45am and intentionally wants to go to a small hotel for one. Found this and it was just great! Friendly staff, great coffee and pretty impressive portion of food, nice environment and I got myself a seat next to a window. They offer my two coffee instead of one! Just great.
Booked this hotel online to be near Molly Malone's bar. Staff were super friendly and the room perfect. Pricing is good for Bangkok and the location excellent. Breakfast was included in the online deal and was buffet style with eggs to order, again all very good. We will be staying there again soon!
I stayed 10 days in Bangkok on a unexpected stay. Used the business center and conference room to conduct meetings and do business when my final destination got changed. Enjoyed the breakfast every day and was happy with the proximity to the center of town. Would recommend, good price and comfort.
Check In was friendly and efficient. Rooms have been redecorated and stylish colours and artwork. Bed was very comfortable. TV reception was good but could have more channels. Buffet breakfast is more than adequate. Friendly prompt service.Very clean throughout. Comfortable deck and pool area. Very close to Sala Daeng BTS and a quick walk to Lumpini MRT. Situated in the heart of Silom. many food vendors offering an array of food especially Issaan style. Overall, Le Siam is a great place to stay!
