The hotel's location is above all the night clubs, and its means that i couldn't sleep during the nights. The receptions didn't help me when i asked. And after all that, at my last day i rush to the airport so i did check out before breakfast, but apparently that i couldn't eat because i not customer of the hotel anymore.

I expect something more from this hotel. The picture shows a luxury decoration with low budget. But actually its an old hotel. You cant enjoying the room. Toothbrush not provided, you cant borrow a bowl or spoon or fork because they dont have service like that. Additional charge if you want to keep your luggage after check out. Lift was broken so we have to use stairs. Inconsistent water heater. They really need to improve. Just win by location.

We stayed for three nights in june 2017. Hptel was nice andclean, staff was proffecional and spoke english. There is a rooftop pool, very small but nice. Gets very crowded, and theres not enough sunbeds. Relax area away from the pool on the rooftop had less people. Rooftip bar serves food and drinks. The toasts were not that good and expensive. We had our room on 3rd and facing the street. There are 2 nightclubs blasting music so you can feel the bass till the early hours. Breakfast was very good!

The fact that this hotel is called Khaosan "palace" is laughable. I stayed here for 3 nights with a group of friends and honestly don't have one good thing to say about this "hotel" other than it's central location. There are rats all over the reception area due to the rubbish everywhere. The rooms are tiny and the air con did not work for us. My friends air con was leaking, and received no satisfaction from the rude reception staff when asked if it could be sorted. Towels and bed clothes also could do with being replaced with new ones. Just when we thought this place could not get any worse, we were proven wrong. We asked the staff to organise us a taxi in order to get to the airport. The rude male with the ponytail and tattoos working at reception was organising the booking. It was 200 baht each for 6 of us and when we had all finished paying, he told us we were 200 baht short of the 1200 required. We told him that we had all paid and to point out which one of us had no handed him the money, as we had all paid separately. He agreed that we had all paid but couldn't explain where the other 200baht had gone from the desk. Himself and his female colleague were beyond rude and told us that the "customer is not always right" We asked to view CCTV, which resulted in being quite an ordeal as we were in a rush to make our flight and the staff member conveniently could not play back the footage properly. Eventually, we had to pay the extra 200 baht just so we could leave and make our flight. If your looking to stay on Khao San Road, do yourself a favour and stay in D&D Inn or Dang Derm instead. Avoid this dirty place and it's incompetent staff at all costs.

This hotel is a nice step up from a lot of the shoddy places in the area and is still reasonably priced. The rooftop pool/bar/lounge has a fantastic view of the city. Location right in the middle of khao san road and its craziness. My only complaint is the poor sound proofing in the room. This is a party area and we could hear the conversation of people in the neighboring room even though they weren't being especially loud. I'd stay here again if I come back to this part of Bangkok.

Air-conditioner had voice and didn't functions (no cool) eventhough open for 2hours..the staff help to adjust the air-conditioner control. He asked us to wait more 30minutes ,then only can feel the cool. His attitude very bad and no patient with the guest like us. All counter staff also no smile face and no polite. I felt very bad from first step until check out. The room very noise and can hear outside very clear!! Never stay again!!

I had originally heard this was a great hotel, but I was wrong. The receptionists were rude and not helpful at all (especially the one wearing glasses and with large cheeks). The a/c didn't work and the receptionists refused to move me to another room. The pool was small and dirty. They charge for everything (including things that most hotels in Thailand would offer complimentary). When I had them had the hotel clean a few of my shirts (they charge per the item not per the kg) they lost one of my shirts, claimed I falsified my receipt and when I asked for compensation, they said they would call the police of I didn't leave. They charged me for drinks that were taken from the mini bar by the last guests because the maid didn't bother to refill the mini bar and they took it straight out of my deposit. For the cherry on top when I asked them to hold on to my bags for a few hours while I killed some time before my flight, they wanted to charge me for each bag and this is something that's virtually always offered as complimentary. I would recommend staying as far away from this hotel as possible.

Stayed for 10 nights in February and again for 6 nights in March as we loved this hotel so much. Rooftop pool was lovely (the bar even delivered drinks and food to your sunbed) although I'd recommend going up between 9am and 10am to get a sunbed! Lovely rooms and friendly staff who always said good morning and hello to us. we were travelling Asia for two months and this was hands up the best hotel we stayed in during the whole two months. Excellent value and the scarlett rooms are amazing. Room Service was also amazing value and the location of being right on Khao san road was fabulous!!

We stayed for 2 nights in the Khaosan Palace Hotel on Khaosan road. The rooms are small but ok. Nothing special there. However i recommend to stay away from this hotel as their customer service is horrible. Every information we asked, the people at the reception told us that it's not there job and that we should get our information somewhere else. When we tried to book a cab from the hotel to the airport they tried to rip us off by charging us twice the regular price and when confronted about the price they told us that we were liers and the price they charge is normal touristic price. In the end we took a cab ourselves on Khaosan road and paid half the price the asked. Finally we had a friend that just wanted to come up in the room to take a quick nap and they didn't let him go up and asked for half the price of the room just for him to go up in our room for a couple of hours. Stay away from this hotel !!! There are plenty of others hotel in the area

Great price and perfect location in the centre of Khao San Road. The hotel is clean and the staff friendlier than some on Khao San. We had a room at the back which meant it was quiet and we slept well. We asked for and were given extra pillows. Rooms in Bangkok are generally small but functional, this was no different, but I would have liked somewhere to put our clothes, wardrobe, shelves or drawers. Otherwise though it was exactly what we needed and glad we chose it
