The hotel located at Ramkhamheang rd. Near Rajamaka stadium andcfar from Ramkamheang university around 1 km. , If you are backpacker, I think you must stay near BTS, MRT station. Round the hotel has a small restarub

I stayed here for one night only, as we were flying onto stay at Kantary Bay in Phuket the next afternoon. An excellent and comfortable apartment. An excellent restaurant, with a great variety of food. Friendly staff as well. Overall an excellent choice of hotel for me and my family.

Very nice place, serviced apartments with some for rent. Japanese owned and therefor the kitchen offers great Japanese style dishes. Very friendly staff, great swimming pool with sauna, fitness and jacuzzi. For us an ideal place to stay because close to Bangkapi and Hua Mark (sorry guys, this is away from the city center, but close to the university where my wife and I used to teach from 1995 to 1999 and full of wonderful memories). Strongly advised, also as a stop in between as we did.

I have stayed here for 6 months now. The rooms are large, light, airy and clean with good air conditioning and WiFi. The kitchen is fully equipped. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is a outdoor pool on the second floor with jacuzzi, sauna, steam and gym. Breakfast is of a high standard. The guest lounge is great to work in (and with free coffee). The location is not that great, but it is fine. It is a long ride to downtown, but a short distance to The Mall, Bangkapi. There's great food nearby. It is medium priced, but feels expensive for someone from Nepal.

# Well furnished- 2 TVs, music system, ACs, washing machine, refrigerator # Cleanliness maintained everyday, all staffs are nice people decorated with smiles # Fitness center, Jacuzi, Steam, Sauna, Pingpong, Swimming pool - all good. # Executive lounge is average. # Breakfast is excellent- a combo of Thai, Japanese and American breakfast. # Near to- The Mall, Makro, Tesco-Lotus, Tawanna, each of which is different category of market. # Near by Soi are nice street to stroll around and see, eat thai food. # A bit far from central city (15-20 KM). But for peace lovers it is perfect. Also near to Shuvarnanhumi airport. Over a stay of around six months, I am very satisfied with the hotel, services and people.

Once again Kantary house has lived up to our expectations. The Friday evening steal night is all you can eat grilled to perfection, Australian beef, New Zealand Pork, Thai seafood, with salads, free glass of wine, Best value. The gym, pool, sauna, steam room helps burn off the excess. Its always friendly, relaxing and comfortable.

This a very good and affordable place. I was surprised that the rooms can be compared to five star hotels. The staff are wonderful and the food is great and reasonable price. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends.

I have stayed here five times for weeks at a time. The staff is wonderful and the apartments are very nice. The location is ok, but a long ride to downtown Bangkok. Easy to walk to the mall and Soi 50 has great street food after 4pm. Try the restaurant on Soi 40, just a block away. It's got an orange oval on the sign. Good food, great prices.

Booked this hotel for an overnight stay on our travels back from Chiang Mai and Koh Samui and having stayed at the Kantary Hills in Chiang Mai a president in terms of style, luxury and surroundings had been set. Whilst the outward appearance seemed fine the surrounding area was very downbeat. Reception was only adequate as the staff did not appear to fully understand English. However on stepping out the lift into a corridor that echoed even the softest toned voice we entered a room was like going back to the 70's all browns and creams and furniture that was in dire need of updating years ago. As we were flying back to the UK the following day all we wanted was a restaurant that could serve us a nice meal and a drink. The restaurant had 4 people in it and it took nearly 30 minutes to serve a drink, nearly 40 mins to bring our food which went back as it was under cooked and serve that was appalling. The same at breakfast 5 members of staff to serve a handful of guests but they just stood about talking, no asking if you needed anything further, was everything ok nothing in terms of service. Be aware that the hotel has extensive coverage of Japanese food and the majority of the guests appeared from there. Finally you will be a brave man who ventures onto the Main Road approx 100 yards away, my wife and I did at approx 9.30 pm and quite honestly was not comfortable in the surroundings and general feel of the area. So all in all a mistake staying there.

Kantary House is a medium priced very comfortable and secure hotel in Bang Kapi. Three stops on the train from Suvarnabhumi airport and a short taxi ride. It is ideal if you have business or shopping to do in Bang Kapi but Bangkok traffic is notorious and a taxi to cover the 6 or 7 miles to the city centre can take an hour. The hotel staff are very welcoming and helpful. The rooms are large, light, airy and clean with good air conditioning and WiFi. There is a superb outdoor pool on the second floor with large jacuzzi plus gym. Breakfast is of a high standard and a plus for me was the quiet guest lounge which I found excellent to work and with free coffee. My only complaint was the very expensive laundry service aggravated by later discovering a small private laundry next door to the hotel charging a fraction of the price!
