Jasmine resort is a nice and quiet hotel, it has all you need to achieve a romantic vacation as well as a family vacation, it is a good facility with kitchenette, laundry and spacious double rooms. They have the metro, mini mart and tourist locations very close to it.
This hotel is located right at the BTS station, which makes it very convenient. There is also a wonderful outdoor food court, W District, just down the street, well within walking distance. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The negatives are that the bathroom shower areas are noticeably moldy, making the rooms unappetizing to stay in. Also, the breakfast is mediocre at best. A much better choice for only a few dollars more would be the Marriott Sukhumvit, not far away.
Upon arrival we got a room upgrade, which is always a winner! The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast is just what you need to set you up the day. Pool, jacuzzi and gym are a great bonus! The shower wasn't always the warmest, the bed was hard (which was fine for my back) and the wifi was a little iffy - just to be completely honest. Another few travelling tips - the BTS is literally just outside the hotel which is perfect and there is a restaurant just past the steps to the BTS called 7Sis Kitchen which does beautiful Thai food.
Stayed here for 4 nights during Christmas break, average hotel. Don't expect much. Average price. BTS is at door front, next to it there is 7-eleven. Front deck service is not as friendly as other Thai hotels. I used to stay at Arnoma or Hyatt, due to peak season thought of giving this hotel a try.
I visit Bangkok regularly as my son is married to a Thai lady and they have a little girl. This time I stayed at Jasmine Resort and my 17 year old granddaughter was with me. This hotel is great. Right on the doorstep of Phra Khanong BTS so location was perfect. But the hotel also is near to perfect; the staff are great - very friendly and very helpful, food was good and very reasonably priced, and all in all we had a great stay there. There is a very handy supermarket right next to the hotel and I notice that there is a new shopping mall being built opposite. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel.
We booked Jasmine for 3 main reasons: It was close to our friends who live in Bangkok, the price was reasonable And it looked nice through the pictures online. We stayed at Jasmine for 4 nights before our flight back After a honeymoon in Thailand. When making the reservation I stated that We're on our honeymoon, and that we smoke. When we entered the room we almost could not breath due to a disgusting Smell of cigarettes that even a heavy smoker couldn't have stayed there for More than 5 minutes. We Immediately asked to move to a non smoking room. The staff told us that the only available room has 2 single beds. Then we asked To join them so it would "feel" like a twin bed. The mattresses were hard as a wooden bed. The next morning we asked the Reception to replace our mattresses but instead they gave us a couple of Thick blankets to soften the bed. Breakfast was very basic and not very tasty. At the last 2 days we preferred to eat breakfast outside the hotel. On the good side, the staff is very nice and polite, rooms are large and comfy, Rooms are equipped with a microwave and a washing machine. There's a good wifi signal all over the place, and it's right beside a BTS station.
Lovely hotel, room cleaned daily and modern spacious rooms, great faculties and great staff, with gym and a roof top pool and hydro pool, very close to the phra Khanong station, would not hesitate to book this hotel again.
Location: This is a great location because it is just few steps away to train station and far from red lights district. There was also a 24-hours small grocery mart beside the hotel which is very convenient for us because we arrived at the hotel around 2AM. What we don't like is the smell outside the hotel but most streets in Bangkok has that smell so it is not something that hotel can fix it so we just hurriedly go to train station whenever we go out of the building. Price: Very reasonable price because of location and room. We actually prefer Terminal 21 hotel but when we called them they said that they will charge the 3rd person even if we don't request for another bed. Service: Service was great, the lady who clean the rooms at 16th floor was very nice. Since we book for more than 10 days and we book online direct from hotel website, we get a free upgrade and train ticket. There are some reviews here mentioned about staff that are not friendly, we are actually prepared about it before we booked the hotel but we still decide to stay on this hotel because of location and price. It is fortunate that we never have talked to anyone on the hotel that are not friendly but we did see one of the management staff that is not smiling like he hate this type of job a lot and can't wait to go home. LOL. Room: The upgraded room that we got is on the 16th floor which is very spacious. It is great that the room was a full size refrigerator, microwave oven, hot water kettles, plates & spoons and even a washing machine. It was great to have washing machine in the room because one of us can only fit XXL shirts which is difficult to find in Asia especially for discounted prices so we bought some hanger from the mini mart and able to wash the clothes. If you wash it at night it will dry in the morning. Only concern I have with the room is the privacy, they should put a sticker on the glass door. The bed is also hard, one of us has to sleep in the sofa because he can't sleep with hard bed and getting a back pain. Summary: The biggest point with this hotel is the location which is perfect for family trips. There are taxis that are very picky with passengers, also sometimes my daughter can't stand the hot weather and sometimes it rains too so having a train near hotel was a big advantage of this hotel. I will stay with this hotel if the price is still reasonable.
Family had previously stayed here. We followed their recommendation. The breakfast is a must, to be included when you book, for a nominal fee. The staff were great and there is a happy hour at the bar outside.
We stayed at Jasmine at the end of our two week holiday to Thailand and to relax in the spa facilities on offer before our flight home. We were REALLY excited about this visit to just wind down and relax but there were a few issues... - the room smelt of cigarettes and needed some tlc. Around the edges it looked tired and i cut my hand on a broken tile in the bathroom. Layout and style was however okay. - the spa area was empty which would have been great however this was partly because it was absolutely freezing and we were told the heater for the indoor heated pool and jacuzzi wasnt working. We literally spent 15mins using the facilities because of this and felt really let down none of this was communicated before we arrived as we would have gone elsewhere - that was the main reason we were there! On a good sunny day the outside pool area would be really lovely and refreshing. - there was some filming done in the foyer of the hotel which went on most of the afternoon. Because of this the customer service was rushed and very impersonal. After a meal we came back to the hotel only to be practically pushed out the way into the lift because they were filming. - no prior communication of 1000B deposit on arrival. They didnt check our rooms when we checked out so why bother? Ive stayed in nicer places in Bangkok and the rest of Thailand. On the whole just felt really let down at the end of our holiday
