Stayed here from 31 May to 3 June 2017, we're group of 7 so we booked their grande suites 3 bedroom, in the booking page they mentioned max capacity is 9 people, so we think this is suffice for us. What we didn't know is there's a small button to hover and write how many people staying (I used mobile browser) before you click 'book', and since I didn't click on this small arrow, by default guests staying is 3 people only. after clicked book, there's only personal information to be filled, no question about number of people staying. We knew this only when we're checking in, they asked extra charge for extra person. We're tired from our trip from Khao Yai and finding a hotel is not easy in that area, and if we cancel our stay they will still charged us for 1 night stay so we decided to pay the extra, the manager (Korn) gave us a discount, but it didn't feel like one. The room itself was spacious and nice, but the location is another issue. Even we already know from the reviews that the location is far from Central Bangkok, but we still surprise because the location was wayyyy too far and not to mention the bad traffic, even on midnight! Other transportation option is BTS, the nearest BTS is 15 minutes walk, and apparently walking under Bangkok's heat on the summer is not a wise choice so we decide to use Hotel's tuktuk service, but they only have 1 tuktuk that can only fit 4 persons. So, I definitely would not stay in this hotel again.
We took a punt on this hotel and were not quite sure what to expect, in the end we decided on the 2 bedroom suites and were extremely pleased with the room. The room itself consisted of a kitchen, spacious living room, 2 en suite bedrooms, one of them being a master with a larger bathroom, including a separate bath and shower. The lobby was connected to a supermarket which was also handy. The location was a little further out than other hotels but weren't too expensive in a taxi to get to the terminal 21 area. A better option is a short walk down to the sky train and then a 22 baht train to the busier area. This was the best option during the day when the traffic was heavier but later in the night, after a night out for example a taxi was quick and easy.
Jasmine Grande Residence was an alright hotel, but I would not stay here again. The location was way too far out from central Bangkok. It took at least 45 minutes to get anywhere from this hotel. It is near a BTS stop, which is nice, but I would still have rather just stayed in a better location. Hotel room smelled funny at some points. Cons: - Bad location - Funny smell Pros: - 3 bedroom suites, lots of space - Convenience store attached
Hotel was lovely! - Staff were very friendly and helpful. - Lobby was beautiful and modern. - Rooms are modern with amazing views across Bangkok, and so spacious! - Pool is good, slightly cold and very quiet but nice way to end a busy, hot day! - Location is very far out from central Bangkok although it is located only a short walk away from the BTS line so you can get a train into central Bangkok. - Hardly any places to eat around the hotel apart from a few street food vans - Breakfast is small but has lots to offer: heart shaped eggs were my favourite! Only bad thing is the guy outside selling tours - he will try and get you to purchase higher paid trips/more than what you are looking for. Have your wits about you and be strong when he asks you if you want to buy more!
This is a nice apartment that served as a hotel. The full panel window in the master bedroom from run from floor to ceiling and the another full length window glass panel can be view from the North and East area. From the vantage of 36th floor the nighttime view is beautiful. I can’t believe that for a $43/night+ tax = $54 net I got such a deal. However, the location sucks. You need a cab to get in and out so after check in at 7pm I stay put and checkout the next day at noon. There is one 36” flat screen TV in the living room and one in the master bed room. There is two bathrooms; one for bathtub and another bathroom for shower. Both bathroom has toilet. The kitchenette has nothing (no silverware, pot and pans, plates, cutting board, wash cloth, paper towel… etc). There is an electric kettle, 2 mug, 2 glasses, 2 tablespoon, some packet of coffee and tea and sugar and cream enough to have 2 beverage. However, you can make yourself a nice breakfast buying essential stuff from the mini supermarket build in to the Jasmine Grande Residence apartment. It is just like a regular supermarket that you can get fresh egg, half boiled egg, boiled egg, pastries, bread, milk product, yogurt, instant noodle…. You will be given password for internet. However, one password only allow for one device to log on. So if you have a phone, an ipad, and a laptop then you are out of luck to hook up all 3 devices to internet. This apartment hotel is also cater to group tour from China, at 8pm a bus load of tourist arrived and the reception hall become one giant chorus with shouting and laughing and talking and yelling. Such is the scene everywhere whenever you see Chinese tourists. The mattress is one of the hardest and gave me backache. If you have back trouble (backache) stay away from this hotel. I give a big thumb up for the porter service when checking in and checking out. They were very helpful in unloading luggage from the taxi and bringing up to the room.
We are a family of 5 (2 adults early 30s, 12 y/o boy, 8 y/o and 6 y/o girls) and we all enjoyed staying at this hotel. We arrived here after a hellish overnight train journey from Chiang Mai then Skytraining across Bangkok in rush hour. We arrived there at 10am and the reception crew were excellent - they let us check in 4 hours early and ordered us a MacDonald breakfast (not our normal cuisine, but after no sleep you sometimes just wanna eat junk!). Check in was quick and easy. We had a 3 bedroom suite - the rooms were huge, the beds firm yet comfy and it was very clean. There was English speaking movies and European sports on the TV. The kitchen has no plates, cups or cutlery, which makes it pretty much useless. The breakfast is an all you can eat buffet, it's fresh and mostly tasty. It is a mix of Western and Chinese, which caters for the clientelle. We spent most of the day out sightseeing and then came back in the evening. There is a small shop attached to the hotel, though no restaurant. The kids loved the swimming pool - they spent around 2 hours every night splashing and flying down the small slide. It is very warm so you can sit by the pool, drink cold beer and read a book. The wifi works here too. We stayed here for four night and would recommend this hotel.
Very clean and specious room with big fridge. Couldn't find slippers though...There is Max Value supermarket downstairs next to the lobby. I saw tons of Chinese guests at the hotel, and fives Chinese buses at the parking. So yes, it was very noisy and loud everywhere in the hotel... 10 ～ 15min walk to the nearest BTS Station, Ekkamai.
The Good: Staff is very nice, helpful & friendly, rooms are clean, 24x7 store in hotel, easy to get cabs, 10 min walk to nearest metro. The Bad: Not an ideal location to be in as no good restaurants or bar around, have to take a cab (15~20 min ride). Breakfast is below average (but still ok for the hotel rate). Hotel doesnt have it own bar !! majority of other travelers looked like bulk group booking ones.. though it hardly matters :D. No utensils in for the hot plates they provide in the room. Room space looked a bit cramped as well. Overall : if you are looking for cheap place and don't really mind the location with no fancy stuff.. then can go for it.
Stayed here on the first night of our honeymoon. Hotel is clean the staff are amazing very helpful. The room is big and very modern. There is a 24 hour supermarket in the hotel. The breakfast buffet is really nice. If you want to go anywhere the staff will order you a taxi meter and explain for you where you want to go as well as advise you on the price. Taxi meters are the cheapest way to get around.
Just left the jasmine grande residence Nice hotel but puzzled why have kitchenette in room but no utensil's to use Rooms were serviced well and nice and clean.
