The concierge team from the executive lounge was fantastically helpful. They arranged transportation back and forth from the airport and booked spa appointments before arrival. We needed medical attention and they arranged a physician to come to the hotel within a half hour. Even though the hotel was full they were able to extend our stay in the same room one night so my ill family member did not have to move. I cannot say enough about their professionalism. The lounge itself is also very nice with great food. The spa is good and the pool area is very relaxing. The gym is well stocked with equipment and is open 24 hours. Housekeeping arrives within minutes. Check in was handled quickly and efficiently. All in all a very nice hotel.
...back again at the JW Marriott Bangkok after an absence of six months. Unfortunately, just for four nights. Nevertheless, again as usual an unforgettable and very pleasant stay. For sure the hotel rooms are slightly ageing but this year they started with renovation works. More import, the professionalism and hospitality of the entire hotel staff, from font desk, concierge up to housekeeping. If luckily you have access to the JW Executive Lounge you experience first class food, freshly prepared and a wide choice combined with an excellent and outstanding service and treat – home cannot be better – again absolutely superb. A very special thank you deserves this Lounge team, especially Anja, Day, Honey, Kwang, Thanya and Lukpla do an exceptional job. Cannot wait coming back…
The staff at the hotel where amazing all the time. The spa/sauna/steam room and gym facilities are fantastic. The hotel had nice restraunts for fine dining And to top it off I found the hotel's locarion to be very convienant Overall a very pleasant stay
We had the most wonderful hotel experience at the JW Marriott. Our package included the Lounge on the 16th Floor. We had our breakfast here and evening canapes and nightly cocktails . The staff in the Lounge were absolutely first class. Led by the lovely Anja Phumdorkmai and her team , they were always so welcoming , caring , smiling and tended to your every need . They were particularly engaging to so many guests each and every time we were up there. Anja and her team are a credit to your hotel.... Hope to see you again soon . Thank you .....
I mostly stay in Hilton and Hyatt hotels, but I was 1 night from Gold status with Marriott and the rates were right, so I booked at couple of nights at the JW Marriott in Bangkok. Check in was smooth. The agent noticed that I would reach gold status on the stay so they gave me the perks on that stay. Quite a pleasant surprise, and always welcome! The great lounge and the fruit in the room every night were what I enjoyed the most of the upgrade. I had lunch at the Tsu restaurant, great sushi & sashimi. Their set lunches looked to be good value for money/quality, I ended up finding a couple of things of the regular menu that I wanted to try so I ordered a la carte. I was perfectly satisfied with my meal there. I had breakfast downstairs one morning. They had a nice "spread" of options and items. The juice bar lady was great, recommended a blend she made of Orange, Beet and Pear that was good (and probably ridiculously packed with vitamins.) The café latte was executed perfectly. The baked items were really good. The egg station was fast and efficient, and the young man working there made the eggs exactly as requested. The room was quite nice. Black out curtains were great, and closed at night when I got back to my room. The rain shower was nice. Comfortable bed, lots of pillows. Convenient plugs spaced about the room. Work desk laid out properly. I never heard or saw the cleaning staff, but my room was always perfect. I requested at taxi one morning to go to the office, and the bellman outside called one up. He opened the door, said something to the driver and sent him away and called another. I asked him what happened with that one because I was running a bit late, and he said the car wasn't clean and smelled bad. I appreciated his level of concern for a guest. The devil is in the details of taking care of guests and the JW Marriott did a wonderful job.
I have stayed several times in JW Marriott in Bangkok and I would repeat without doubt. Just hotel itself is great: big room, comfortable bed, fitness and swimming pool facilities really well equiped, ... However for me the major difference is the staff of the hotel, they make you feel like a special guest. I'd like to make a special shout-out to the extraordinary girls from the executive lounge (Kwang, Honey, Lukpla and Mar Pat) who treat me so well, attention to detail and make me forget I was so far away from home. Becca.
Excellent hotel with a very fiendly and helpfull staff. Very good food and services in business lounge. The employee take care about each guest. Many thans on Business lounge staff specially: Lukpla, Honey, Kwang, Day and Touch. I am for the 3. time due to bisiness trips here and I enjoy each time to be here.
I was going to write a very nice 5-star review of this place. And then the hammering started, at 11am on Sunday morning. I politely called that I am trying to sleep. Got a call back that these are renovations on the floor below which "cannot be stopped". "If you want to move to another room..." -- no, that is not what I had in mind while in bed on Sunday morning, a few hours before checking out. Anyway - other than that an older hotel with a very good feeling, absolutely excellent staff and service. One of the best hotel beds I have known. Pool area as well as executive lounge area are great. Would make it my go-to hotel in Bangkok if only they wouldn't prefer hammering over customer happiness.
Kuhn Kao was great to work with. Whole staff gave great service. Highly recommend. Clean professional hotel with a great executive floor. Location central to Bangkok and close to BTS train. Internet was good. Courteous staff
I want to give a huge shoutout to 2 executive lounge staff Lukpla & Anja who demonstrated outstanding customer service during my stay. They amazingly responded to all my food and drink requests with a natural smile, which really makes me feel at home away from home. The food served in the lounge was truly of a 5-star restaurant standard. Well done Marriott... I will definitely stay there again during my next trip to Bangkok.
