This place is in an awesome location for sight-seeing! Walking distance to the major Bangkok temples. Amazing view from the 1pm room. And the Customer service is Bar none! Breakfast is excellent. Excellent location to grab a taxi or tuk tuk. The few cons are: no elevator and the stairs are very steep. The bathroom isn't private. The sink and walls seemed very stained. Not a ton of space to move around and no full length mirrors. I'd consider staying here again. The view of Wat Arun from the balcony was unbelievable!!!!
stayed here for during our holiday and was wow by it. room was spacious, location was perfect and staff was helpful. overall was happy with our lodging. closeby many shops and restaurant. will be back to stay here again.
Inn A Day was the perfect choice for our quick family trip to Bangkok. We were only in the city for two days, so the goal was to be as close to everything as possible to see the main attractions. It’s across the street from Wat Pho and down the road from The Grand Palace. It’s perfectly situated on the river for hoping on and off the water taxis and for taking canal tours. However, the best thing about the Inn is the family run, customer centered approach they take. It’s a small facility and they take great provide in caring for their guests. We were greeted at 3am with someone ready to carry our bags and escort us upstairs to our room. When we left at 5am for our flight out, they made sure a car was waiting for us to take us to the airport. We were well cared for and will definitely return just to be able to stay there again. The rooms were decorated in an industrial modern way which made them extremely unique. The rooms were also very clean and had all of the essential amenities. Last, but certainly not least, the restaurant on the main floor was DELICIOUS!!! We had the traditional Thai breakfast there and then returned for an early dinner because we were so pleased with breakfast. This is the perfect place for a romantic getaway, family adventure, or business trip. We highly recommend Inn A Day!
We echo our previous comments from our 2 visits seven months ago. We love this hotel. And it is now even more conveniently located with the opening of 4 new stations on the MRT blue line. Sanam Chai station, (luxuriously decorated to match the nearby Grand Palace), is 10 to 15 minutes walk away. So now the whole city is easily accessible. Many thanks to all the staff who were as helpful and charming as ever. We will return the next time we have a stopover in Banglok.
We ordered a bunch of things to eat - and it was really good. Chill ambiance and friendly staff. The owner of the place even took photos for us. We ate during the afternoon as it was near Wat Pho, and there were not much people around. Must Try!
We thought ahead to make sure we had 1) air conditioning, 2) king bed, and 3) internet access. It did not occur to us to make sure we had a room with windows! We got one of the rooms away from the river. It had windows but they were all frosted glass. How depressing, particularly because it was so hot (110) that time of year, we were stuck in our room much of the time. We finally took a hit on the last day and just took a room in the airport hotel. At least they had windows. Make sure you et a river view room. They should not even have rooms like the one we rented by mistake.
Stayed here on a second pass through Bangkok. We loved the rooms and the common spaces of this hotel and would definitely stay here again. The staff were also top notch. We stayed here on our honeymoon and my wife loved it. Their food was great too. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.
We recently spent three nights at this wonderful little hotel which is situated in a quiet neighbourhood in easy distance to the key sites such as Wat Pho, the Royal Palace and Wat Arun. Our room which was 2PM has an outstanding view of Wat Arun which literally knocks your socks off whatever time of the day. The bed was very comfortable and you have all the comforts you need including tea & coffee-making facilities. There is also a beer honesty fridge on the landing outside. The food in this hotel is exceptional and the breakfasts deserve special praise. You have to opt for the Thai breakfast, so delicious! The staff are lovely and very helpful. We had a fantastic stay in Bangkok and this hotel was the icing on the cake.
Absolutely thrilled with our stay at Inn a Day and would highly recommend this hotel/ restaurant to other travelers. The staff was kind, efficient, service was excellent, and the establishment was very clean and comfortable. Highlights: - Walking distance from Wat Pho (30 seconds), the Grand Palace (5 min), Wat Arun (3 min walk, 4 Baht ferry), the Flower Market (10 min), and Khao San Road (25 min). - Incredible food. - Beautiful terrace looking over the river at Wat Arun. - Surrounded by good restaurants. See below for specifics on our experience: We chose to bookend our trip to Thailand with a visit to Bangkok, and decided to stay at Inn a Day for both our first and return stay in the city. While we were traveling in Chiang Mai and Koh Phi Phi (approximately one week), the hotel staff was kind enough to let us leave some luggage in a storage closet at the hotel. This was really convenient for us and, upon our return to Inn a Day, we found that the staff had already brought the bags we had stored there up to our room before we arrived. This thoughtful and accommodating hospitality was emblematic of our whole stay at the hotel. We stayed in the 7:00am room and the 1:00pm room. The 7:00am room was great, although the lofted bed may not be for everyone (for comparison, we are in our mid 20s and don’t think our parents would love the loft like we did). The 1:00pm room was incredible. The view overlooking the river and Wat Arun is stunning. All rooms have good air conditioning and there are a variety of rooms to choose from that seem like they’d accommodate all preferences (ranging from the loft, to regular king beds, to a family suite and honeymoon suite). As we mention above, the food was incredible. The staff was able to accommodate a vegetarian breakfast for us and we honestly felt that the food at Inn a Day was among the best we had on our entire trip. Lastly, the view of Wat Arun really is incredible! The first room we stayed in didn’t have a window overlooking it but we still had access to the communal deck overlooking the river and temple, which we had to ourselves every time we went up there (even at sunset!). We definitely recommend this hotel to other travelers and are excited to stay here again the next time we have a chance to!
My husband and I stayed for five nights at Inn A Day in the Honeymoon suite (4:00pm)! Spectacular views of Wat Arun from our room! Great to sit on balcony, both day and night, watching the many boats on the Chao Phraya River. Loved this eclectic boutique hotel run by three brothers Tenn, Golf and Ball (named for their dad's love of Tennis, Golf and Football). Location was walking distance to Wat Pho and Grand Palace and a short river crossing to Wat Arun. My husband loved the "self-serve"/ honour system chilled beer on the second floor! Our daughter came to stay with us for the weekend, and she loved her own little private loft, in our room, with a splendid view of Wat Arun! Great decor, with a super comfortable bed, in our air-conditioned room. A huge wooden tubs sits in front of the floor-to-ceiling sliding doors to the balcony. Complimentary bottles of water each day in our room. Each morning our complimentary breakfast was delicious. From the buffet, you could help yourself to local fruit (such as dragon-fruit, pineapple, watermelon and banana), juices, yoghurt, salad, toast and jams, as well as, made-to-order breakfast egg creations or a choice of Thai breakfast. Home-made and scrumptious. We also really enjoyed dinner of home-made Thai dishes: Pad Thai and Stir fried chicken with cashew nuts. The exceptional service is what really made our stay so special. From meeting the family, and Golf graciously helping me to properly pronounce Thai words, to carrying our luggage up and down the stairs, and requesting a taxi to take us to the airport on the day of our departure. Suggesting excursions within walking distance, and even providing an acceptable price range that we should pay. Very appreciated! Next trip to Bangkok, we will definitely stay at Inn a Day :)
