I booked this hotel on a budget but I have stayed in cheaper rooms which were much nicer. The hotel looked nothing like the photos on the website and my room was falling apart. The floating floor was lifting, water stains on the floor and walls The bed was so hard I only had minimal sleep, the pillows were almost non-existent. Personally I did not like to location as it was down the end of the soi.
We arrived fairly late due to flight delay. The place was easy enough to find on foot from BTS Asok but it's way down the back of a small Soi off the end of Soi 20. There is an elevator which is good, and staff are friendly. The room itself was ok, however the finish on some things was quite poor, the shower for example would flood the entire bathroom in a matter of minutes since he fall of the surrounding tiles was away from the drain. Several of the furniture pieces had flaming or peeling edging, exposing sharp edges and leaving yourself to get small cuts and scratches. The a/c didn't work overly well, just enough for the room size, but it was never "cold". There was a small kitchenette with hot plates but no pans or pots were provided..(pointless)? Overall with the number of quality hotels and apartments just in the Sukhumvit area, I wouldn't stay here again.
Advantages: 1. It's quiet 2. It's located in the red light district (if you like entertainment and something to do at night) 3. 24 hours reception 4. 7-11 and some other mini marts nearby 5. Nice restaurants around Disadvantages: 1. No breakfast, can't get any food in the hotel 2. It's at the end of the street, you need to walk very far to get to the hotel. 3. A bit far from any train station 4. You can hardly get any good massage around. There's a lot of massage parlor nearby but their skills are pretty bad, although they offer happy endings with extra charges. 5. Have to walk very far to get cheap and decent food.
It's located down a small quiet back Soi. Basic room furniture a little tired now, paid 1,200bht/night a little overpriced better quality rooms can be had. It was ok for the 1 night stay prior to flying home. It's is equipped with a microwave, kettle & a two ring hob, with a couple bowls, plates and knife, forks. Tv, air conditioning which has no remote its controlled by a panel next to the door, The staff were helpful on checking in, The bathroom could do with cleaning more or new silicone seals as they were mould around the bath.
It's located in a quiet subsoi at the end of soi 20. It's about 15-18min walk to Asoke bts. I have stayed a few times, and I have had no complaints here whatsoever. Rooms might use a lick of paint here and there, but they have always been clean. All the minor issues I have experienced, aircon, drains e.g has always been sorted out quickly. Staff and service has always been very good in my opinion. There is a small pool on the roof, a nice little quiet place to relax with a good book.
I check in at 28 October and checked out on 1 November 2016. It's a very nice clean hotel above all if you need peace of mind and quitness this is the place to stay. Perfect for travelers with family very affordable too. Near to the main road
Had a great time staying here for a couple of nights. The hotel is located in the city center, not far from the sky train. The staff of the hotel were friendly making and there are many restaurants, bars and convenient stores at a walking distance to the hotel. There is also a tuk-tuk service for those who don't want to walk to places.
Tucked away right on a side alley at the end of the Soi, room was clean but a little old and tatty... I guess you get what you pay for and it was cheap, but there are better options if you shop around. Near the MaxValu supermarket if you need it.
+ on the quiet end of the hotel + walking distance to some restaurant, bars, massage parlors + supermarket close by + hotel staff was very friendly - a bit of a walk to the main road - 15 mins to bts asoke - beware of some flying roaches at night while walking back to the hotel
We had a 2 night stop over back in Bangkok, before the large group of 14 of us flew back to Australia. We booked this Hotel at 7.30pm and arrived there at 1.30am ( 6 hours later) and I was pleasantly surprised to see the concierge had already printed details of our booking, had keys ready and allocated for each room and had pre-filled in the majority of the check in paperwork. This was very much appreciated by the Group after a late flight into Bangkok. The hotel also upgraded 3 of the rooms free of charge, as they did not have enough of the basic rooms as per our original booking. The Hotel is based down the end of Soi 20 and behind another hotel. Although this seems a little out of the way, the hotel does provides a free tuk tuk to take you up to the main road (saves you a 5-10 minute walk) and they will also go to the main road and bring you a taxi to the hotel doorstep. All in all, they do what they can to make up for the slight location issue. Overall though, the hotel is located in the heart of Bangkok and is perfect for travellers. The hotel is quiet, clean and comfortable. Wifi is superb throughout the rooms and public areas of the hotel. The only gripe I had was that there were only two pillows on our queen size bed (usually you would see 4) and the bed in my room was firmer than I would have liked. In saying that, I still had a decent sleep. Overall I would stay here again if I needed to. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the price is reasonable.
